Detta examensarbete handlar om en uppföljning av en enkätundersökning enligt EFQM modellen som genomförts vid BT Products. Uppföljningen består i en djupare analys av undersökningens resultat med fokus på vissa av dess delar. De områden som huvudsakligen behandlas är företagets medarbetare, processer och ledarskap. Tyngdpunkten ligger i att klargöra orsakssamband mellan enkätens olika områden samt att gå djupare in på- och identifiera samt beskriva starka och svaga sidor hos dem. Intervjuer, observationer och statistiska metoder har använts för detta syfte vilket resulterat i att det framkommit möjligheter att förbättra verksamheten i flera avseenden. De viktigaste förslagen till förändringar är: En förändrad organisationsmodell med fokus på värdekedjor Förändrade ansvarsförhållanden och tillhörigheter En långsiktig inriktning mot en styrmodell med utgångspunkt i värden och företagskultur.

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe through a quantitative study the extent of support received by foster families, their opinion of the support and any areas that might need improvement. The foster families receive foster care support through a private agency. We concentrated on the following areas of support; education, health, contact with the children?s biological relatives and behavioral difficulties. These four areas have, in previous research, shown to be problematic for foster children.

The pressure is getting tougher on Accident and Emergency departments. Therefore it is crucial to study how the patient?s perceive their visit to the Emergency department. Knowledge about this enables improvement of routines, patient participation and patient safety. The purpose of the study was to investigate patient?s experiences of their visit at the Emergency department.A descriptive design was used.

With this as a background, the purpose of thismaster thesis is to identify the cross-functional user needs within Scania?s organizationconcerning product data and the management around it.To fulfill the purpose, an empirical study consisting of 40 personal interviews with 50representatives from different functions within Scania?s organization was carriedthrough. The empirical data was then analyzed focusing on identifying thecross-functional needs and issues.The study points out that there is a big potential regarding improvement among themanagement of product data.

The aim of this thesis is to examine how the identity of the public librarianwith regard to reading is manifested in the library field. The approaches thatare taken to reading and readers are examined as well as the consequencesdifferent approaches might have. The empirical material is based on 93articles published in Swedish library journals. The theoretical andmethodological starting point is discourse analysis. Hur ser jobbcoacherna på sin yrkesroll? Syftet med studien är att undersöka vad jobbcoach innebär som yrkesroll utifrån jobbcoachernas eget perspektiv, ett område som inte tidigare har studerats. Genom symbolisk interaktionsim, funktionalism, professionsforskning samt aktuell forskning inom coaching beskriver studien hur jobbcoacherna ser på sin yrkesroll.

With the purpose of finding the motives behind use, production and reuse of Open Educational Resources (OER), the writer has conducted a qualitative survey. The three main questions in this two years master?s thesis are:? Why do people use others? unmodified OER?? Why do people produce OER?? Why do people alter and reuse OER?The theoretic framework is built around Manuel Castells? network society, with its social and efficiency seeking dimension, along with the Knowledge commons. Some pedagogy is included as well.A web survey was distributed to 796 users of the Connexions OER repository. 95 responses were received.

This thesis describes the universalization, improvement and further development of acompact crane support frame for flatbed trucks. The work has been conducted at Eloch Fordonsteknik AB (henceforth EFAB) in Uppsala.The aim of the work has been to shorten the assembly time of the product. By doingso, the product can be kept on shelf, which in turn results in shorter lead time. Thishas been done by universalizing the support frame to be compatible with most of thechassis EFAB works with. Additionally, the entire construction has been made lighter,which will make it a more attractive choice for customers.A pre-study was conducted and information was gathered internally, as well asexternally, in order to ascertain that no limitation or possibility was overlookedduring the course of the project.One such limitation has been the geometry of the truck bed that the support frameshall be compatible with.

The main purpose was to develop norms for the Five to fifteen questionnaire ? toddlers? version (FTF-S) in children aged 25?40 months. Apartial aim was to validate the language domain of the FTF-S against the linguistic scale in the test Bayley Scales of Infant Development ? thirdedition (Bayley-III). Another partial aim was to analyze parents' experiences of the FTF-S in order to provide suggestions for further development.

The transition have affected our society in great ways and have made a great impact on different groups, one of them being the elderly population in our society. The purpose of this study is to examine how the fast technological development in the latest decades have affected the elderly in our society. This from their perspective by gathering empirical data through semi-structured interviews with elderly people involved in the Agnes-project, a research project focused on improving the general quality of life for older people and increase their knowledge about technology. The study has shown that after the older peoples time involved in the Agnes-project their quality of life had improved in different areas. Areas such as increased cognitive activity, increased interest in new technology and an improvement in their communication with friends and family.
