With a religious psychological perspective this paper focuses on how religion is communicated during an investigation, and how religion might include in the decisions and the Implementation of committed honor killings. This study pinpoints the question if it´s reasonable to unilaterally declare honor killings with culture, which is based on a distinction between culture and religion. The study is done on a court case where the offender confessed to a murder that is categorized as a so-called honorable motives. The material consists of interrogation reports during the investigation and several notes written by the offender before the murder. With a broad definition of religion the text material is analyzed with the theory of attribution.

This study is based on the public eldercare assistances administrators and unit managers perspective. The purpose of this study is to describe and understand how the assistance administrator and unit manager approach elderly needs, who can be harder to accommodate as well as alternative providers that also can meet the needs of the elderly. It is important to gain more knowledge about how assistance administrators and unit managers look at these aspects, what their attitude and approach is towards them. This is important to learn more about because the assistance administrators and unit managers have discretion in their work and the power to change and affect the elderlys situation in a significant way. They decide on actions and design Implementation to meet the needs of the elderly and enable them a reasonable standard of living.The choice of method used in this study was qualitative through semi-structured interviews, conducted with assistance officers and unit managers.

This thesis treats the subject of a complete steady state and dynamic model of the VSC-HVDC covering both the AC and DC system-side of the converter. The topology of the model is recreated after the scheduled transmission line in the south of Sweden, called SydVa?stla?nken. The topology covers both a simple two terminal connection as well as a multi-terminal one. This model is to be implemented in the power system simulation program ARISTO.

The Implementation of large IT-systems is a complex area where many aspects have to be taken into account.KSU, Kärnkraftssäkerhet och Utbildning AB, is a small company in the Vattenfall group that is increasingly being urged to implement SAP, one of the largest ERP-systems on the market. Vattenfalls purpose with SAP is to centralize certain processes within economy that are common to all the companies in the group, this to gain benefits with economics of scale. However, KSU is not convinced that SAP is a suitable system and that the common processes apply to them.The purpose of this degree project is to investigate if SAP is a suitable system and if KSU will benefit from a transition to SAP. Three perspectives were applied to further specify important areas of the main question. From a technical point of view KSU:s demands on a system was mapped against SAP.

The purpose of this development project is to create a model for working with a high school project in Electrical and Energy Program. It should be conducted in a form like companies do according to the goals from The Swedish National Agency for Education. In order to fully perform this we use the concept of Young Entrepreneurship. The model is created according to the new conditions from The National Electrical Safety Board. There is now an exception saying that a student during education is released from the demand of employment that is the normal procedure where you are under supervision from a certified electrician. During the project there has been theoretical and practical examinations in order to clear out the advantages and disadvantages using this model, but also to examine whether it is useful in the future and to what extent it can be used. The result indicates that the model is useful and fulfills the goals from The Swedish National Agency for Education but that the model has its limitations and difficulties.

This thesis examines the impact that the Euoropean Agricultural Policy has had on the tobacco regime during the years from the start of the Common Market Organization for Tobacco in 1970 til the days of today. The Truman method has been employed to estimate the degree of change of trade creation or trade diversion on the domestic market and also on the worldmarket. From these facts an analysis has been made to investigate how and if a new reform of the CMOT will affect the European tobacco market. Through the CMOT, the European Commission has tried to rise the quality level and the prices of raw tobacco growing in Europe. The european market value for tobacco has been rising and a marginal grade of of trade creation within the union and a grade of trade diversion to third countries has been shown since the Implementation of the tobacco regime.

This work has been carried out at a company in the region which has about 30000 employeeswith about 400 sites all over the world. The company outsources their network including theLAN refresh and the WAN migration. They needed help with an upgrade of their LAN at theirScandinavian headquarters and to find a new solution for their WAN. The reason why the upgradeof the LAN was needed was that the equipment was too old and did not pass the securityrequirements. They also required a solution to segment their LAN, which consisted of a singlelarge VLAN with 1,300 employees.

Previous studies have shown positive results on the use of music as postoperative pain relief. Quantitative studies have examined the effect of music on rated pain and otherparameters such as anxiety, relaxation and blood-pressure. The purpose of this study was to investigate the expectations and experiences of patients and nurses onimplementing music as postoperative pain relief in an orthopedic unitQualitative design and semi-structured interviews were used to examine expectations and experiences. Five patients and five nurses in the unit were interviewed.Four themes developed during the data-analysis. These themes were ?Expectations on music as postoperative pain relief?, ?Experiences of music as postoperative pain relief?,?Effects of music as postoperative pain relief? and ?Continued Implementation of musicas postoperative pain relief?.

I takt med att användningen av smarta mobiler och handhållna enheter ökar, så ställs det idag helt andra krav på design och prestanda av webbplatser än för bara 5-6 år sedan. Detta medför att en webbplats primärt utvecklad för en pc-skärm, troligtvis inte är så användbar när den visas från en mobil eller handhållen enhet.Den här rapporten i form av en fallstudie försöker svara på vilka delar av den mobila användbarhetstestningen som kan automatiseras. I rapporten beskrivs även olika teknikval och deras påverkan på en webbplats prestanda.Det visade sig baserat på denna fallstudie att vissa delar utav den mobila användbarheten går att utvärdera utan användare. Det finns delar som inte går att automatisera och måste utvärderas förhand.

This paper seeks to explore how victims of crime and defendants are portrayed in sexual assault cases. Lately, more and more voices have been raised in appal against values demonstrated in court decisions and we?ve seen the Implementation of a new sexual assault legislation in attempt to increase people?s sexual integrity. Yet, at the same time, there is still a tremendously low amount of reported sexual assaults that go to trial and even fewer result in conviction. This paper is not an attempt to scrutinize the legal system, but to draw attention to what values are portrayed in sexual assault cases.

The idea to create authentic learning situations where students are highly integrated made me want to try to develop a new method in the course Restaurant and Catering B MAKU 1208 (another field practicing cuisine). In my quest to do just the practical part as rewarding, stimulating and efficient as possible for the student, I planned for a training model with   focus on group interaction.The Implementation of the model for learning was to strengthen students confidence both in themselves and in each other, stimulated to greater cooperation and it has also provided an incentive to the student's own development but not least, a growing self-confidence for many students. Several have also had an increased sense of knowing something, to have something to contribute and that their labour input actually was needed. Idag genomför OptoNovas system en mängd avsyningar hos tillverkande företag där defekta produkter sorteras ut. Systemen samlar in data för analys och delar av resultatet sparas i textbaserade loggfiler. Här finns en möjlighet att utnyttja loggdatan till en betydligt högre grad för att få ut maximalt med information.Examensarbetet omfattar en utredning av vilka loggdata som är användbara och på vilket sätt de kan visualiseras för att uppnå så hög förståelse och användbarhet som möjligt, följt av en Implementation.Arbetet resulterade i en standard för loggdata som utgörs av en databas samt en visualiseringsapplikation skriven i C++ och Qt. Det som krävs för att använda visualiseringsapplikationen är en databas på föreslaget format samt enkla bilder på aktuella artiklar som datan ska visualiseras för.Med hjälp av Visualiseringsapplikationen kan användaren se statistik över de olika artiklarna som avsyningssystemet avsynar. Applikationen visar information om var på artiklarna defekterna förekommer, vid vilka tidpunkter det uppstår flest defekter m.m.Visualiseringsapplikationen kommer att fungera som ett hjälpmedel för att förbättra felsökningen i tillverkningsindustrin bland de företag som valt att använda OptoNovas avsyningssystem..

Informationssöking är en term som har olika innebörd i litteraturen. I detta examensarbete kommer informationssökning att betraktas som en övergripande beteckning för olika sökstrategier och navigering. Det vill säga att navigering och olika sökstrategier är två delkomponenter till informationssökning. Sökstrategierna avgör på vilket sätt användaren kommer att förflytta sig genom informationsmängden och navigering som en iterativ process med bland annat registrering av information. Syftet med examensarbetet är att undersöka huruvida teorier om informationssökning för stora displayer även är tillämpbara på små displayer.
