The study highlights teachers´ perceptions of creative writing as part of learning processes in the subject of Swedish, based on creative activities. The background to this study comes from the curriculum that describes opportunities to experience different kinds of knowledge. Creative activities in various forms and the ability to one´s own creativity is emphasized. The empirical data in this study is collected through qualitative interviews with four practicing teachers. The result shows that there are two different views according to creative writing as a text creation.

This study is about the importance of pictures to children's pleasure in reading. The aim of this study was to investigate pupils ' thoughts about the pictures in picture books. I wanted to find out if the pictures in the books are of importance to children's pleasure in reading and why. Also what types of pictures that create the pleasure in reading and why. Through literature, I see why it is important to read books and how teachers can create encouraging reading among children.

The purpose of this thesis is to study five pedagogue?s view of the free play and their view of the importance of the free play for children´s learning and development. I have chosen to use a qualitative research method in the form of interviews with five pedagogue´s from a preschool. The main research questions asked were:What have the pedagogues of view on the free play? How important believe the pedagogue that the free play is for children?s learning and development? What has emerged in the study is that educators have a positive view of the free play. They believed that the free play is important for children´s skills.

Uppsatsens syfte är att ta en första titt på huruvida levande rollspel (lajv) har potential som ett verktyg för konflikttransformation. De huvudsakliga frågor som undersökts är: om, när och hur lajv skulle kunna vara ett användbart verktyg för konflikttransformation. Studien har använt en etnografisk metod för att undersöka lajv och den subkultur som utvecklats kring det. Slutsatsen är att lajv skulle kunna vara ett möjligt verktyg för konflikttransformation och kanske särskilt som ett verktyg för att konstruera sociala plattformar och uppmuntra the moral Imagination (utvecklat av Lederach) på en mellan-nivå, samt som ett verktyg för försoning i en efterkonfliktsmiljö. Studien gjordes i en liten skala genom nio semistrukturerade djupintervjuer men den visar att vidare forskning kring lajv, som ett möjligt verktyg för konflikttransformation, inte bara skulle vara väl motiverad utan viktigt, då denna konstform, precis som andra före den, riskerar att missbrukas som ett medium för propaganda samt till främjandet av konflikter och krig.

Bakgrunden till denna studie utgår från våra egna erfarenheter av att undervisningen i årskurs 1-3 ofta är styrd, och har en avsaknad av lekfulla och kreativa inslag, vilket även forskning visar. Graden av styrning innebär därmed ett problem. Stöd för lek och kreativitet i undervisningen för elevers lärande går att finna i skolans läroplan och litteraturen. Detta har lett till en undran över lärares syn på betydelsen av lek och kreativitet i undervisningen. Syftet med studien är att analysera en antal lärares uppfattningar av lekens och kreativitetens betydelse för elevers lärande i undervisningen.

Is it enough as a sponsor only to expose yourself these days, or does the new times require more creativity to stand out from all the media?This work is done for Stadium AB in Norrköping, and treats questions such as; what type of sposnorcummunication that is proper to use around the soccer stadium, and if it is possible for new ideas in the future when Stadium is hosting a game? To answer these questions theory has been read about sponsorship and data has been gathered through qualitative interviewswith soccer clubs and sponsorship consultants.The work result shows that there are some general rules that the company should follow tosucceess when hosting a game.

The purpose of this Masters thesis is to investigate the reasons for public libraries to have story-time today and also the reasons for story-time at the public library historically in Sweden. Why is the phenomenon of story-time still existing at public libraries today? The study is based on a questionnaire that was sent to childrens librarians in the Västra Götaland region. The material collected in this questionnaire was put together and resulted in six different categories showing the libraries purposes and thoughts of their story-time activities. The categories were: cultural heritage/tradition, joy of reading, language and Imagination, library visits, storytelling and mutual experience.

The study which has been made is a qualitative observational study where play forms and participation of adults were observed in two preschools. The word play is defined in the study with an ?as-if? ?nature based on Knutsdotters definition which differs play and activities from each other. The observed play form has been analyzed according to the concept of imitation and Imagination play. To get a complete base of the study a few children on some occasions drew what they played or would like to play.Through photographs of these drawings and how the children described and explained what they drew a connection could be made with the children?s play forms.

The purpose of this essay is to look at how museums design their activities as tourist destinations through the dissemination of history. In order to research this problem we have posed the following questions: How do museums act in order to animate and interpret history? What does the future hold for the museums? In order to find the answers to these questions we have made a deep-going analysis of the activities of four museums, Nordiska Museet, Etnografiska Museet, Historiska Museet and Naturhistoriska Museet. These museums have been analyzed by means of interviews, observations and the study of documents. Our theoretical perspective is informed by a hermeneutic perspective as well as Foucault´s definition of museums as institutions, and the concept of storytelling.

In this thesis I investigate what librarians working with children do for six-year-olds at the libraries in order to stimulate them to read. I also investigate how children of this age read and what books are like for these beginners. The background for the thesis is that reading decreased a lot in ages three to eight during the 1980s and 1990s. My aim is to see what projects, methods and other strategies there are to get children to read. The method used is case study.

The purpose of this study is to examine some after-school teachers? perceptions about the outdoor stay at the after-school care centre in the schoolyard and in the leisure- environment.Five semi-structured interviews were conducted with the after-school teachers at five after-school care centres in the Stockholm area.In the theoretical part presents the leisure- governance and ongoing research on outdoor learning, research on the school playground and kindergarten local environment affects children in their development and learning, and after-school teachers? professional identity.The theoretical foundation is based on the phenomenographic approach.The questions are:? What is outdoor education according to the after-school teachers?? According to after-school teachers, what educational opportunities are provided by the schoolyard and the local environment?? How do the after-school teachers use the schoolyard and local environment?The result shows that outdoor education can be a knowledge invigorating complement to the indoor teaching and a way for the after-school centre to supplement the compulsory schoolday. The play outdoors can help to increase children's social development, creativity and Imagination. The after-school teachers used the schoolyard and local environment for various purposes which may be due to different circumstances, knowledge and experience to carry out educational activities outdoors. But it may also depend on whether the after-school teacher focuses on the regular school day or in the afternoon at the after-school care centre..

Studien har ett lärarperspektiv och den teoretiska utgångspunkten är Vygotskij?s sociokulturella teori. Vårt gemensamma intresse för böcker och högläsning lade grunden för den här kvalitativa studien. Studiens syfte har varit att undersöka och beskriva arbetet med bilderboken som pedagogiskt verktyg i förskolan samt prioriterade böcker vid högläsningen ur förskollärarnas perspektiv.Datainsamlingen har genomförts med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer med sju respondenter vid fyra förskoleavdelningar. Vid intervjuerna hade förskollärarna med sig fem favoritböcker.

This research project is about how the subjects` art and music has been described under the 20th century in the Swedish school until today. The purpose with this research project is to do a text analysis that describes these subjects now and the last century, to illustrate the differences between today and the last century. Hence the size of this subject I have chosen some random samples out of the 20th century until today. I started to take these random samples from the first lyric I found about these subjects, and continued with these random samples in other lyrics from the middle of the 20th century until the year 2006. I just took these random samples from what I had found because I did not found some lyrics from earlier period of the 20th century.
