Unaccompanied minors who are fleeing and being sent way from their countries of origin are nothing new. In 2011, 12 225 unaccompanied minors where registered in The European Union, none undocumented minors included. Most of the minors are coming from Afghanistan and Somalia. The aim of this essay is to investigate how The European Union?s migration policies are applied in reality and how United Nation?s Convention on the Right of Children are put in practice by the member states of The European Union and Norway.

Our language bear traces of who we are and of the culture we live in. As human beings we create language in interaction with other people and with our society. Media and commercials are other factories that strongly influence our everyday life as well as our language. With this study we would like to illuminate how our surroundings influence our language. We focus on the language of young people and their use of symbols, phrases and expressions when they reflect on relations.

The change of the Real property index map has met a lot of resistance in Dalarna.This is the reason that the parcel?s reform has not had the same impact in Dalarnaas in the rest of Sweden. In addition, even ?Laga skifte? (the reformation on propertystructure) was never effected in most areas of Dalarna. This has lead to thatDalarna has a unique property structure with many small and narrow parcels.Some argue, however, that the property structure has been the same for many centuries.The purpose of this thesis is therefore to study how the property structurelooked before ?storskifte? (the reformation on property structure) was done, howit was when äganderättsutredningen (the adjudication), in the 1970s, was accomplished,and finally how the structure looks when land consolidation has been implemented.For the template of the studies, seven different villages were chosen.The basis for the study was comprised of acts for each stage and each village.The study showed that change in property structure has occurred.

ABSTRACTPurpose/aim: Are there any differences between how ?old? and ?young? groups within social movements in Sweden view (value) and use alternative and mainstream media?Material/method: The answer to the research problem is sought by conducting qualitative research interviews with representatives of four different groups: Alternativ Stad, Folkkampanjen mot Kärnkraft-Kärnvapen, Attac Sverige and Ingen Människa är Illegal. The theoretical framework consists of research on social movements, especially on their relation to media, and on alternative media.Main results: There exist some, but not great, differences between how ?old? and ?young? groups view and use mainstream and alternative media. The differences are relatively small when it comes to views on media and somewhat larger concerning media use.

I min hypotes påstår jag att det finns kunskap i vårt omedvetna, som det går att komma åt. Den går på tvärs mot hur vi ser på kunskap i vårt västerländska samhälle. Kunskap syftar oftast på inlärda förmågor, som vetenskapligt går att bekräfta och belägga. Det finns säkert de som godtar att det finns kunskap i vårt omedvetna, men går den att komma åt? Att vägen dit går genom drömarbete kan vara provocerande i vår rationella värld.

Från att ha varit helt utrotade i Sverige har vargen återigen funnit vägar in i landet och etablerat en ny svensk vargstam. Vargangrepp på får blir ett allt större problem i och med det växande antalet vargar i Sverige. Problemen mellan människa och varg har påverkats av historiska och ekonomiska händelser. Den främsta orsaken till att konflikt uppstår mellan människa och varg är vargarnas predation på människans tamdjur. I en litteraturstudie har vi sammanställt vilka metoder som finns att tillgå och som fårägare använda sig av för att förhindra vargangrepp på får. Vilken metod som används beror bland annat på fårbesättningens storlek, betesmarkens storlek samt betesmarkens utseende men även vargtätheten i området. Några metoder som används för att förebygga vargattacker på får är bland annat olika sorters stängsel, boskapsvaktande hundar, ökad tillsyn, skyddshalsband samt sambete med nötkreatur eller annan art såsom häst och lama.

Detta projekt är ett första utkast för företagets eventuella satsning på en ny modell inom segmentet jakt. Projektet innefattar en förundersökning som visar att det finns en stor brist i användningen av hörselskydd bland jägare, trots att många både medvetna om riskerna och i många fall dessutom redan fått en försämrad hörsel på grund av jakten. Ett trendbrott kan dock ses då allt fler faktiskt har börjat använda skydden under de senaste 10 åren, fortfarande en alldeles för liten del av dem totala gruppen jägare. Som tillverkare av hörselskydd kan man här se en potentiell marknad. Ett trendbrott bland en grupp människor som mer än gärna lägger lite extra pengar på senaste tekniken där fortfarande endast cirka 40 % av gruppen använder produkten borde ses som en god affärsmarknad.Genomförd användarstudie har gett ett gott underlag för vidare produktutveckling och slutligen modellframtagning..

Detta examensarbete har till syfte att studera om barn redan i tre till fyra årsåldern har en uppfattning kring traditionella könsmönster och könsroller? På vilket sätt visar sig detta i så fall? Vad gör personalen på förskolan för att förebygga detta?För att besvara frågorna i detta examensarbete har samtal med sju barn och två gruppintervjuer med sammanlagt sju personalen genomförts. Jag har läst utvald barnlitteratur tillsammans med barnen och sedan diskutera med barnen kring hur de uppfattar traditionella könsmönster och könsroller.Resultatet pekar på att barnen har en uppfattning kring traditionella könsmönster och könsroller. Det framgår i barnsamtalen att barnen i många fall är knutna till sin traditionella syn på sitt kön. Barnen är ofta bundna till sitt kön och hindras därigenom till att leka utanför de stereotypa könsroller som förväntas av de. .

The focus of this essay is to investigate if there lies a difference between graffiti art that is placed in the public spaces and graffiti art that is sited in an institutional art setting; in this essay exemplified in a gallery space. My thesis is that graffiti art derives a great deal of its meaning and substance from its situation consequently making a change of cultural context also a change of connotation and understanding of the graffiti art itself.  Meaning that graffiti art situated in a communal space is different from graffiti art situated in the gallery space. They share aesthetic expression but their connotations differ; i.e. one being illegal and the other permissible making their meanings dissimilar. I have used a comparison between site-specific art and graffiti art to further strengthen my thesis concerning the importance of understanding how a change of context critically changes the substance of graffiti art..

During the last decade the conditions for the music industry have been changed significantly. With the dropping sales of physical phonograms and the increasing illegal file sharing, the record labels have been forced to adapt and thus seek alternative sources of income next to the traditional sales of phonograms. Our purpose was to investigate how smaller Swedish record labels adapt themselves to the changing environment within the music industry and which new alternative sources of income they can use to finance their music production. To do this we used a deductive approach where we started by researching theories we thought were relevant to the subject, which we then used to get valuable information out of our informants.From our empirical investigations it appears that the independent record labels are rather positive about the future and that they will be able to survive, even though they will have to change their ways of working to a large extent. Our results show that the record labels as we know then will disappear.

This essay studies the concept of "livspusslet", a term in swedish that directly translates as "the jigsaw puzzle of life". In recent public debate it has been used to articulate issues concerning the combination of family life and a professional career. The empirical material consists of newspaper articles from nationwide daily newspapers Dagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet between 2009 and 2011. The concept of "livspusslet" relates to the debate about family values, gender equality and the public view on the issue of combining family life with a career. The widespread use of the concept indicates that the social practices surrounding the debate over family policy is shifting.

SAMMANFATTNINGSyftet med detta examensarbete är att få kunskap om samlingens innebörd i förskolan. Samlingen är en del av den vardagliga verksamheten i förskolan. Det är en pedagogstyrd aktivitet som ofta innehåller upprop, sång, samtal, berättelser och olika teman. Våra forskningsfrågor är att vi vill veta hur samlingen i förskolan är utformad, varför samlingen används som arbetssätt och vad förskollärarna anser att samlingen har för mening för barns lärande. För att få svar på våra forskningsfrågor har vi gjort en intervjustudie, där vi intervjuat fem förskollärare.

This essay investigates employee buyouts and does so from a number of different perspectives. Employee buyout is a term that describes a way of ending an employment through an agreement where the employee gets a sum of money in exchange of leaving their employment. Technically it is neither a resignation, since the employee gives up the employment in exchange of money, nor a dismissal since the employer does not have legal grounds for dismissing the employee. Employee buyout is not an illegal way to end an employment, as long as it is the result of a mutual agreement between the employer and the employee. In this essay I investigate and analyze employee buyouts in relation to 7 § in the Swedish employment protection act, and also Swedish employment protection in relation to regulations from EU regarding employment protection.

The consumer of today is bombarded by an increasing number of commercial messages, which makes it harder and harder for brands to cut through the clutter. Because of this, new methods are developed and introduced to the market every day. One of the most widely discussed of these methods is guerrilla advertising. Even though the method has received numerous praises there are not any academic proofs supporting these arguments. The authors, of this thesis, have examined if guerrilla advertising is more or less effective compared to traditional advertising and what the reasons for the result are.
