Ungdomars berättelser om Hovsjö : En kvalitativ studie om hur sex ungdomar i åldrarna 21-26 ser på sitt bostadsområde
Background and problems: All that is stated in social media might not always sometimes be right, which has consequences for the individual's view of the described phenomena. The individual interprets and takes in mass media messages, which can lead to that the wrong information makes believed to be is correct one. The news media?s photo illustrations might pictures result in bad images of the suburbs. Hovsjö, residential area in the city of Södertälje, occurs in the media depicted as is a bad place to live due to the high rate of crime there.Purpose and Issues: My main research question is: How do young people view their residential area Hovsjö in comparison with the image they believe consider is given in that the news media gives the area? Further questions of the study are: How do the young people of the district describe their residential area? How do the youth's react to the news media images of Hovsjö? Has the neighborhood helped to form their Identity?Method: In my data collection I have chosen a qualitative approach with observation and semistructured interviews.
Att skriva, skriva om och skriva om sig själv : En komparativ undersökning av Inger Edelfeldts och Bengt Martins omarbetade berättelser om homosexualitet
Inger Edelfeldt (1956) and Bengt Martin (1933-2010) are two Swedish writers of different generations. Both of them did, between the years 1968 to 1983, write about adolescent men coming to terms with their homosexuality. Edelfeldt wrote two versions of the same story, with slight but significant differences, the main being different implied readers (adult versus adolescent). Bengt Martin wrote about three young homosexual characters: Joakim, Bengt and Bengt. The story about Joakim is presented as fiction but bears many resemblances with Martin?s autobiography.

With the advance of the modern information society, the importance of reliable Identity authentication has increased dramatically. Using biometrics as a means for verifying the Identity of a person increases both the security and the convenience of the systems. By using yourself to verify your Identity such risks as lost keys and misplaced passwords are removed and by virtue of this, convenience is also increased. The most mature and well-developed biometric technique is fingerprint recognition. Fingerprints are unique for each individual and they do not change over time, which is very desirable in this application.
En cityförenings grafiska profil : Speciella faktorer och även riktlinjer för Mjölby City
Grafiska profiler har ofta liknande innehåll men ser självklart olika ut för olika verksamheter och varumärken. En cityförening är ett samarbete mellan flera olika aktörer som vill kommunicera med sina målgrupper och samtidigt förmedla det som föreningen tillsammans står för. Studiens syfte är att ta reda på vad som bör ingå i en grafisk profil för en cityförening och vilka speciella faktorer som finns vid framtagandet av cityföreningars grafiska profiler. För att påvisa möjligheterna till applicering i det som undersökts, används Mjölby City som exempelfall och studien ska generera riktlinjer för Mjölby Citys grafiska profil. För att svara på studiens frågeställningar har en kvalitativ metod används i form av kvalitativa intervjuer och en fokusgrupp i form av en workshop. Intervjuerna har legat till stor vikt vid undersökningen av de speciella faktorerna, då intervjuer har gjorts med företagsrepresentanter som har skapat eller bearbetat grafiska profiler för cityföreningar.
Konsten att enas under ett varumärke : Intern varumärkesuppbyggnad på Nordiska Kompaniet
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine how a company with a single brand is perceived as uniform, as well as how they use internal brand building to reconcile various competing actors within one brand. Furthermore the aim is to examine how staff, through internal brand building processes, perceives and identifies themself with the values of the common brand. Method: A case study with method triangulation was conducted at Nordiska Kompaniet department store in Stockholm. Quantitative data through a questionnaire survey with employees combined with two observations. Qualitative data was given through an email interview with a responsible manager of digital channels and PR from NK AB.Theories: This study has used the following theories; Destination marketing, Corporate brand, internal branding, corporate Identity, corporate culture, brand value, service brand values, brand citizenship behaviour.Conclusion: This case study of NK has shown that internal branding building in a department store is a comprehensive work, which all involved must have a unified perception and understanding of the brand, in order to successful unite under one brand.
Myrorna - subkulturens butikskedja : en studie i varumärkesutvecklande
AIM This report studies the Swedish vintage store company Myrorna from a branding perspective.METHOD The study has applied the qualitative method where four personal interviews have taken a fundamental ground. The four respondents are taken from different professionals and from different positions by the reason that the brand would be based on a fair assessment. The study is obtaining data that further was collected from the library of University of Gävle, the articles from Emerladinsight.com and remaining pictures- and text materials is taken from the organization Myrorna. The theoretical material have been adapted on the brand Myrorna and then been used to analyze the empirical part. From the general impression that portrays the brand the researcher leads the discussion.RESULT AND CONCLUSION The result shows that the brand Myrorna in some extent do not fulfill the image the brand in the media mediate, between the illusion and the reality there is an empty space according to the research.

Syfte: Vi vill ta reda på vad som gör ett varumärke i modebranschenstarkt, samt hur ett företag bör agera för att åstadkomma det.Metod: Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ ansats och har genom sjupersonliga intervjuer samlat in vårt empiriska material. Genom enabduktiv metod har vi undersökt om empiri och teoriöverensstämmer. Vi har sedan utgått från vår frågeställning ochfört en diskussion.Slutsatser: För att skapa ett starkt varumärke inom modebranschen är detviktigt att vara konsekvent i sitt uttryck. Produkten ochvarumärkesidentiteten måste samspela, även då produkten förnyas,och identiteten måste vara tydlig för konsumenten att minnas.Företagen kan påverka konsumenten genom kommunikation, ochPR har en betydande roll för hur varumärket presenteras i media.Den grafiska identiteten blir varumärkets kostym utåt och ensymbol för densamma. För att skapa ett starkt modevarumärke börvarumärket och produkten vara i linje med varandra och konstantförändras tillsammans.Purpose: We want to find out what makes a fashionbrand strong and how abusiness should act to achive that.Method: We have used a qualitative approach and have collected ourempiric data through seven personal interviews.
"Välkommen hem igen" - en undersökning av kvinnors identitetsförändring i det svenska samhället
I vår undersökning ville vi belysa unga förtagenerations-invandrarkvinnors identitets förändring. Dessa unga kvinnor lever under inflytande av två kulturer där deras identitetstillhörighet till sitt ursprung oftast bestäms av ett essentialistiskt synsätt, vilket innebär att den definieras av ett gemensamt ursprung och en speciell kulturtillhörighet. Men kvinnorna i vår studie visar att deras identitet egentligen bygger mer på ett konstruktivistiskt synsätt där den kulturella identiteten inte bestäms av en gemensam tillhörighet utan att identiteten förändras och omskapas hela tiden beroende på den situation man befinner sig i. Vi har gjort ett urval där vi har valt aktiva och kvinnor som har ansträngt sig för att integreras i det svenska samhället och inte valt ?den traditionella hemmafrun?.
Organisationsidentiteten på Migrationsverket : Relationen mellan organisationskulturen, -identiteten och -imagen
Dagens organisationer verkar i en allt mer komplex miljö. Samhället och media ställer nya krav där det inte längre räcker att tillfredsställa ägarna och kunder, utan hänsyn måste även tas till allt runt omkring verksamheten. Den här uppsatsen belyser utsuddningen av gränser mellan organisationer och dess omgivning. Genom att analysera identiteten hos Migrationsverket vill vi visa på relationen mellan kultur, identitet och image och hur den processen, integrerar och influeras av de interna och externa aktiviteterna för en organisation.Empirin bygger på intervjuer med chefer inom verksamhetsområdet Besök och Bosättning hos Migrationsverket. Genom att använda en intervjumall med olika teman såg vi olika fenomen hos respondenterna.

Prisons are for many an unknown world, and few know about the prison culture which includes unwritten rules, power structures, interactions and relationships between inmates and correctional employees.While many think that Swedish prisons are too comfortable,inmates are facing extreme stress due to surveillance and detention, by depriving inmates their possibility to shape their own lives. When the inmates is deprived of control over their own life?s the penal system have great power to shape and to influence the inmates.The purpose of this paper is to investigate prisoners' experiences of treatment and exercise of power in prisons. Starting point is to examine what are the kinds of relationships between prison officers and inmates from a power perspective, if there is any difference between the closed and open prisons and how the inmates affected by the structures that exist.Based on my overall purpose, and with my informant´s stories which revealed a number of similar points, four main headings were developed; Mass media and society´s view, and unknown world, interaction between inmates and prison officers and consequences.Prison officers with the role as a contact persons as well and other staff which work close to the inmates play a significant role by supporting through motivational interviewing and can help the inmates to gain insight about their life situation and actions. My informant?s underlined that a good contact person can either help or discourage.Inmates who contributed with their experiences express that there is a big difference between open-and closed prisons.
Turkiskt EU-medlemskap : En kritisk idéanalys med civilisationernas kamp som teoretiskt perspektiv
This thesis aims to study obstacles which Turkey faces regarding EU accession. The main focus will be at the historical context and background information to clarify Turkey-EU relationship and institutional aspects such as; the Copenhagen criteria will be analyzed. Interaction between Identity politics and Turkeys Europeanization project will be examined by analyzing arguments regarding this issue. The historical context is important for realizing in how Turkey's negotiation process is affected and how the process is evolved. By examining this, a more transparent understanding is going to develop in the issue of why Turkey never will be able to identify itself with the EU.Analysis regarding why Turkey as a secular state develops into an increasingly Islamized state is highlighted.

The aim of this study was to create a greater understanding of apostates, by analyzing narratives of five ex-members regarding their exit from Jehovah?s Witnesses. I conducted interviews to gather descriptions from specific individuals in relation to their experiences, mainly focusing on the role of an ex-member of a specific group. The informants in the study were 38-73 years old, three women and two men. The empirical data I collected was later coded through qualitative content analysis, where central topics and themes formed the basis for the analysis of the results.

Examensarbetets mål har varit att formge ett karaffset åt Skrufs Glasbruk som skiljer sig från nuvarande sortiment utan att företagets identitet går förlorad.Observationer, handledningar samt egen research har legat till grund för arbetet.Designprocessen har gått ut på att ta fram ett karaffset. ITK (Identity Tool Kit) har satt ramarna för projektarbetet.Projektet resulterade i ett förslag som efter konsultation med mina handledaresamt Skrufs Glasbruks ägare Kent Elm godtogs varpå detaljerna finslipadestill ett färdigt resultat..
Fyra barns erfarenheter via interaktion - ett nedslag i tiden
The purpose of my study is to examine how children through interaction are recognized and understood by other children and teachers at the preschool for one hour in the afternoon. This study gives voice to what young children in preschool do after snack. The overall purpose of this study is to find out what young children's experiences will be in preschool through interaction. The purpose of my research is to gain knowledge about how the time and opportunity for interaction exists between children 1;7-2;5 years, and educators as well as other children, and how this interaction appears during afternoon activities in the preschool.My research questions are:1) What experiences do children get in terms of their development of Identity for one hour in the afternoon? 2) How does the interaction that the youngest children are involved in during the afternoon appear? And how long time does every occasion last? The study is based on the interactionist perspective and systems theory.
