Hur modersmålslärare arbetar för att stärka elevers identitet och historiemedvetande

Målet med vårt arbete är att belysa hur modersmålslärare hanterar undervisning om ursprungslandets historia och jämför detta med svenska förhållanden. Med utgångspunkt från detta har vi undersökt hur modersmålsundervisningen kan stärka elevers identitet och därmed historiemedvetandet. Vi kommer därmed att lyfta fram begreppen modersmålsundervisning, identitet och historiemedvetande. För att uppnå bästa möjliga resultat har vi genomfört en kvalitativ intervjuundersökning med olika modersmålslärare. Vi har dessutom gjort en enkätundersökning bland eleverna på skolorna vi har haft vår verksamhetsförlagda tid.

COS - it´s new!

Utifrån en fri tolkning av Porters generiska strategier har vi genom tre delresultat svarat på om kunden uppfattar COS som stuck in the middle. Mycket tyder på att dagens konsument blir allt mer kvalitetsmedveten och långsiktig i sina köpvanor. Vi ser COS som ett exempel på hur lågprisföretagen väljer att möta denna konsumtionstrend och hur satsningen väljer att kommuniceras. Genom att word-of-mouth fått en viktig roll i COS marknadsföring blir den avgörande för COS image. Genom en tolkning av företagets word-of-mouth och således dess image finner vi att risken är stor att kunden placerar COS som stuck in the middle..


Registrering av konstbilder: En översikt av forskning och praktik i en domänspecifik form av kunskapsorganisation

The purpose of this thesis is to present a review of research themes and practice in the field of art image registration. The objectives of the review are twofold. The primary task is to distinguish which problems, in regard to theory and practice, that have been dealt with in the field of art image registration and the secondary task is to investigate which discursive, institutional and tool-related factors have had an impact on theoretical discussions and practice in the art image domain. The empirical content in the review is structured according to four epistemological viewpoints and is analyzed with a domain analytical approach. The result of the study is that two major problems are frequently discussed in the art image domain, namely lack of standardization and which discourse is the best suited for registration of art images.

Svenskt barnbildarkiv (SBBA) ? Barnbilder, bildindexering och digitalisering

The aim of this thesis is to examine the possibilities and challenges facing an archive, Svenskt barnbildarkiv (SBBA), if to publish its material online. Our context for this study is image indexing. Our main questions are: How can SBBA index their pictures for a possible publication on the Internet? Are there any pros or cons in the determination of topics in children?s images, and in that case, which? What search paths are important when indexing children?s pictures, and why are they important? To answer these questions, the thesis is built on a wide study of interdisciplinary literature. But also on SBBA: s own handbook for image ?registration?, and on interviews with the persons working at the archive SBBA, in Eskilstuna.

Image indexing research today is either conducted on a visual attribute level or on a higher semantic level, forming a semantic gap between the two. There is much to gain if research progress from the two fields is combined. Image retrieval using access points in both visual and semantic significations could improve retrieval and bridge the gap. In social media today, images are often the primary communication agent and the number of images on the web is increasing in an uncontrolled way. New and efficient ways to index and retrieve the images are needed.The purpose of this study is to examine if emotions could be a semantic access point for image retrieval and if folksonomy indexing is useful when searching for images that represent emotions.

This study highlights the stereotypical depictions of journalists in film using a narrative analysis of four major Hollywood productions, starting with All the President?s Men from 1976 through The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo from 2011. Its purpose is to highlight traits given to journalists in the movies and re-occuring themes in the portrayal of the media and the journalistic occupation. Differences and commonalities between the films are concluded in a discussion of ethics, personalities and the media?s self image.

Title: Artists? identity and image ? a brand perspective The purpose of this study has been to create an understanding of how artists in the music business can be seen as brands and to see what stands out when having this approach. During the study we have focused on the two terms identity and image. We find this issue interesting and relevant since branding has been widely discussed in business economy, but not enough when it comes to artists in the music business. AbstractThe purpose of the present study was to clarify and describe what image men and women present and communicate in their profiles on an online dating site. Further has been investigated if traditional gender roles and stereotypes are as pronounced on this online platform or if it offers a space to go beyond traditional formations. The theoretical framework of this study consisted of a social psychological idea and understanding of identity as well as a gender theoretical perspective. The methodological points of departure were hermeneutic and the data consisted of ten male and ten female member profiles on match.com. The results of the study was divided into three themes, the emphasis on positive qualities, the attractive body and project manager to one?s own life.

Identitet i förskolan : Förskollärares förståelse för identitet

Sammanfattning ?jag har skyldighet att leta efter barnens bästa jag? ? Förskollärare C Identitet är en persons självbild vilken består av olika områden som till exempel språk, kultur och kön. Det kan handla om hur människor ser på sig själva men också hur andra människor ser på sig själv. Ottosson (2013) menar att identiteten främst handlar om en medvetenhet av sig själv och att vara ett ?jag?. I arbetet presenteras en intervjustudie utförd på fem olika förskolor med sju olika förskollärare om deras tankar kring identitet, hur de anser att de arbetar med att stärka barnens identitet i förskolorna samt deras kopplingar till förskolans läroplan (Lpfö 98 Skolverket 2010). Intervjuerna visar att förskollärarna var medvetna om många olika identitetsområden där etisk identitet, könsidentitet och religion är återkommande i intervjuerna.

Kan företag kontrollera sitt varumärke online? : En kvalitativ studie om villkoren fo?r marknadskommunikation i sociala medier 

Purpose: This study aims to investigate the conditions that prevail when companies put their marketing in social media with the purpose of creating a perception of the risks and opportunities it brings to businesses and ultimately how it may affect the corporate image and identity.Theories: The basis of the problem area are presented through a theoretical framework with the purpose of highlighting the notions of social media, communi- cation, marketing communication, groundswell, corporate identity and image.Methodology: To investigate the research questions this study adopted a qualitative approach in which the authors study the properties of a phenomenon in order to seek a deeper understanding of the problems we have presented. There is an exploratory approach to knowledge and the authors have chosen to conduct qualitative research interviews based upon three themes: driving forces, challenges and impacts.Conclusion: The study revealed that traditional models of communication are no longer applicable in social media. Companies are up for a challenge and must clarify their sole purpose when establishing communication in the social landscape. The general motivation for marketing in social media is making profit, however, building relationships is not a natural motive for most companies. The risks companies expe- rience is the exposure caused by social media and the study also reveals that this fear is firmly attached to their lack of knowledge of these new channels of communicat- ion and their primary areas of use which indicates that skilled employees plays a vi- tal role with their use of social media in their communication process.
