The purpose of this thesis is to find out how young girls reason about norms and attitudes towards female sexuality. Through a qualitative research approach ten girls in grade 9 has discussed in two focus-groups on what is typically female, the Ideal images of the ultimate woman as well as what is considered to be characteristic of female sexuality. The results were analyzed using Tina Mattson's theory of intersectionality, Beverly Skeggs theory of respectability and Göran Burenhults thoughts about biology and sexuality. Some of the main findings are that the girls in the study associate femininity primarily with external attributes and beauty and the Ideal image of the woman is beautiful, yet independent. Further they describe different conditions for boys and girls to explore their own sexuality, and also that for girls the risk of being branded a "whore" is ever present.

Denna undersökning har analyserat vilka grunder det finns för rädsla och ångest i texter relaterat till franciskanorden. Med hjälp av psykologiska teorier om vad känslor är och hur de uppkommer visar undersökningen att det finns objekt i texter som utgör källor för rädsla och ångest. De objekt för rädsla och ångest som förekommer är bland annat pengar, böcker, kläder och makt och hierarkier. Denna undersökning har även jämfört rädsla och ångest som ett maktinstrument. De dokument som franciskanorden vilar på är inte endast baserat på ödmjukhet, som Franciskus annars förespråkade, utan även rädsla och ångest.Franciskus orden kom att förändras både under och efter hans bortgång.

The cover pages were analyzed from the categories character, context, and environment.Main results: The main results include the observation that both Elles and Café chooses well-known figures from women's fashion industry as prime characters on their covers. In Elles, all main characters are famous women emerging from the music, television and fashion industries. The women in Café are known for similar professions.

The purpose of this essay is to study how the local creators of a "master plan" for the swedish city Kristinehamn, the years between 1940 to -43, looked on their planning. It is an analysis of ideas case study. A hypothesis is upheld for the research: that the local physical planning had largely extended ambitions what regards central state control in a way that is similar to planned economy. Questions that are asked include: Was the planning assumed to be a tool for the state to regulate the environment? Can the planning be seen as a mean to control the society in time and space? The essay search for verification of the hypothesis by a theoretical analysis apparatus made upp of Ideal types.

The aim of this thesis was to examine what expressions for objectivity there were to identify/find in newspaper journalism?s report about the FRA-law during the period 2008-06- 13 to 2009-10-14.We choose to analyze ten articles from the morning paper Dagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet, five from each one. The method we used was a qualitative text analysis. We then designed an own model for the objectivity Ideal from without the old theories that were available and also came with own ideas. Then we used that model as starting-point and designed key points to identify objectivity in the articles.Our thesis showed that the articles often fail when it comes to two key points.

Stadens planering kan ses som ett skelett, den struktur som ska vara stadens ryggrad. Utan ett skelett växer staden som ett ryggradslöst djur, en amöba. AbstractTitel: The Walking GenderFörfattare: Moa LinderBakgrund: Den populära amerikanska TV-serien The Walking Dead är en zombiefiktion som  inbjuder människor världen över att följa seriens protagonister kämpandes mot zombies och mänskliga grupperingar i ett oroligt postapokalyptiskt USA. Serien kritiseras för att vara bakåtsträvande gällande dess representationer av genus och etnicitet och  det är vad denna analys ämnar att undersöka.Syfte: Syftet är att undersöka hur genus representeras genom karaktärerna i The Walking Dead med ett strukturalistiskt angreppssätt. Jag undersöker även vilken relation hudfärg har med genus i dessa representationer.Material/ metod: Mitt material består av två avsnitt av The Walking Dead. När jag analyserar valda karaktärer använder jag mig av en narrativ och semiotisk analys. Den narrativa analysmodellen ger en konkret struktur åt analysen som börjar med en övergripande narrativ beskrivning över avsnittet för att sedan gå in närmare i tre valda sekvenser som jag analyserar med hjälp av de semiotiska begreppen denotation och konnotation.Slutsatser/ resultat: Analysen visar på att genusrepresentationen hos karaktärerna i stort sker efter stereotypa mönster och anammar maskulina och feminina Ideal där männen beskyddar och kvinnorna beskyddas.

In order to be a good teacher according to preferences from outside the school area, there are many different voices to listen to. The different roles that are assigned for teachers are colliding with the latest research from the pedagogical institutions and therefore the role as a teacher of today is in a complex state of mind. Somewhere, between the traditional role of teaching and the moderating Ideal image, reality is revealed in the ambivalent role of the teacher of today. In this pedagogical essay on advanced level we are focusing on obstacles that are hindering the moderating teacher?s role, to be fully developed in the classroom.

Studien syftar till att undersöka regionaliseringsprocesser som innehåller infrastrukturutbyggnader, och se hur dessa påverkar mindre städer. Studien utgår från teorier om stadsbyggnadsIdeal, utarbetade av Krister Olsson och Tigran Haas (2013), teorier om regional utveckling (dromoregioner), platsidentitet, post-politik samt David Harveys indelning i absoluta, relativa och relationella rum. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilka stadsbyggnadsIdeal som har format Linköping under historiens gång samt att studera de Ideal som präglar planering och utbyggnad av staden idag. Med hjälp av en litteraturgenomgång tas utgångspunkten i 1800-talets Europa och i de trender som däri-från format våra städer. Det empiriska material som ligger till grund för studierna av Linköpings stadsbyggnadsIdeal idag är i första hand hämtat från Linköpings kommuns egna hemsidor men det har också gjorts en kvalitativ intervju med ordförande i Linköpings stadsbyggnadsnämnd. The purpose of this study was to understand how social workers experienced working with Addiction Severity Index (ASI) in relation to the goal set by the National Board of Health and Welfare. The method is spread nationwide and therefore it is of great importance to examine how the social workers themselves experience the demands and the resources surrounding ASI. We choose to do a qualitative study interviewing eight social workers at six different occasions. The result was analyzed using Max Weber?s Ideal type bureaucracy and Michael Lipsky?s thesis on street-level bureaucrats.

The present study tested the prediction that male offenders are judged more harsly than female offenders for involving in a violent crime. Three-hundred and fifty-four adult students (163 men, 190 women, 1 unspecified gender) evaluated a hypothetical crimescenario describing a violent conflict between two parties, as part of a 2 (Informants Gender: Male/Female) x 3 (Offender Gender Triad: Male/Female/Neutral) x 3 (Victim Gender Triad: Male/Female/Neutral) between-subjects design. In situations involving male offenders, compared to female offenders, the informants judged the male offenders more harshly which exposed a double standard, as we expected. Informants also believed that it was more likely that a male offender was a recidivist..

To investigate what this means for the library, I do a functional analysis of ideas of librarians' views on quality and how they work with purchasing, weeding and mediation. By combining the basal idea analysis, where I investigate librarians' ideas about quality, with an operational analysis of ideas, where I examine the effects librarians' quality ideas get for the daily work, Iwant to find out the librarians' quality Ideals.The material I analyze consists of 18 questionnaires, filled out by librarians with responsibility for purchasing and / or thinning in libraries across Sweden. The analysis is done with an analytical schedule, that consists of a number of opposing Ideal types taken from previous research on quality, purchasing, thinning or mediation.
