Introduction: The health for individuals with intellectual disabilities is asubject that is prioritized by the Swedish Institute for Public Health. Socialsupport has been proven to be important for health and quality of life. Despitethis fact there is no research available regarding the influence social support hason health and quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities in Sweden.Aim: To describe social support and the consequence of social support forhealth and quality of life for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Method:A litterature review of research in a defined area with a descriptive design.Systematic searches for articles were done in several databases and ultimately16 articles were chosen. Themes and categories were created with respect to theaim of this study during the analysis of the articles.

SammanfattningSyfte och frågeställningarSyftet med studien var att undersöka vad elever i årskurs sex har för föreställningar om ämnet idrott och hälsa, om ämnets innehåll och omständigheter kring det.Hur ser föreställningarna om idrott och hälsa-läraren ut?Hur ser föreställningarna om ämnets innehåll och kunskapskrav ut?Hur ser elevernas föreställningar om begreppet hälsa ut?Hur ser föreställningarna om elevbeteendet under lektionerna ut?MetodFör att ta reda på detta gjorde jag djupgående intervjuer med tio elever som går i årskurs sex på en sex till nioskola. Studien är gjord ur barns perspektiv med en fenomenologisk ansats.ResultatStudiens resultat är att en idrott och hälsa-lärare är för eleverna en vuxen som tar ansvar genom att inte tillåta dåligt beteende på lektionerna, en coach som peppar dem och en atlet som kan visa övningar och föregå med gott exempel. Eleverna anser att ämnet idrott och hälsa går ut på att man ska röra på sig och ha roligt. Man ska lära sig att träna, äta rätt och röra på sig samt få kunskaper om hälsa, livsstil och ideal.

This is a qualitative study with four interviews, in four different preschools, in the same municipality. By making it so, it becomes a case study to describe a phenomenon in a municipality which also is the definition for this investigation. The purpose of my study is to examine what it means, in a municipality, to have different types of introduction at preschool. Where I ask the question why preschools choose to have a specific method of introduction and what are the basics and ideas behind the choice of the method? What significance do these different methods have to attachment theory? What do teachers think about the advantages and disadvantages with their choice of method?The versions of introductions are many and may vary; the duration of the introduction may vary from 1-3 days up to 3 weeks.

Studien handlar om migrerande mäns upplevelser av att vara pappa i Sverige och syftar till att undersöka hur den svenska kontexten bestående av strukturer, ideal och normer påverkar föräldraskapet hos dessa. Som ingång till detta ämne har föräldraskapet ställts i relation till de resonemang som förts mellan föräldrarna kring fördelning av föräldradagar. Empirin har samlats in genom sex kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer med män som är födda utanför norden och som har barn under åtta år. I studien framkom det att vissa av respondenterna kunde känna sig bevakade i sitt föräldraskap då de som utlandsfödda pappor kunde förväntas agera annorlunda av majoritetssamhället. Det visade sig även att pappans roll i föräldraskapet till viss del kunde ha förändrats efter migrationen till Sverige.

This thesis, in the field of healthcare logistics, has been carried out at Hjärt- och Medicincentrum (HMC) at the University Hospital in Linköping during the fall and spring of 2012/2013. The thesis is done by two students at Linköping University at master?s level within the framework of Industrial Engineering and Management.As Sweden's county councils should not make a profit or loss, it is important that the councils are aware of how much care processes cost. Kardiologiska kliniken at HMC in Östergötland?s county council is one of the clinics that are profitable.

This project investigated how elevation and vegetation type influences variation in plant litter phenolic content and protein precipitation capacity among and within common plant species for two different vegetation types, heath and meadow, in a subarctic ecosystem in the Abisko region of northern Sweden. As nutrient availability generally decreases with increasing elevation as a result of decreasing temperature, I hypothesised that phenolic content would increase with elevation and be higher on the heath than the meadow. To test this, the total phenolic content and protein precipitation capacity was estimated in leaf litter from 13 species in both heath and meadow vegetation across an elevational gradient ranging from 500 to 1000 meters above sea level (m.a.s.l.) in the study region. The results showed that elevation and vegetation type both had a strong impact on both variables. Total phenolic concentrations decreased with elevation for the meadow, and were greater for the heath than the meadow.

Social media provides, as many points out, new possibilities for marketing. Marketing in social media requires a two way communication, rather than the traditional marketing where the communication model is typically sender ? receiver.To create a marketing campaign that is suitable for a two way communication model has its difficulties and risks as well as its opportunities. Opportunities in the sense that the campaign can become a viral, a Word of mouth and create a Buzz, which will reach potential customers, to a bigger quantity for lower costs, with a message that will make a different impact from the types of commercial messages we are used to. Risks in the sense that the message, if not properly aimed and phrased, can be turned overnight into something that humiliates the company and possibly harm its brand.The difficulties in creating such a campaign is to create something that will catch people?s attention, discuss and forward it, while at the same time avoid getting hurt.We aim to describe the internet from a cultural context, and from that point of view explore the types of misunderstandings which often seem to happen when a corporate message is created and sent out in social media, how to avoid putting the image of a company in danger when doing this, and examine if there is ways to know how the message will be received.

Uppsalaromantikern Vilhelm Fredrik Palmblads (1788-1852) roman Familjen Falkenswärd (1844-45) var delvis en omarbetning av en romanföljetong (den s.k. Kalenderromanen) som Palmblad publicerade på 1810-talet i Poetisk kalender. I jämförelse med Kalenderromanen kan man i Familjen Falkenswärd se en utveckling mot ökad verklighetskontakt.Denna uppsats behandlar temat ideal och verklighet i Familjen Falkenswärd. Med ?verklig-het? åsyftas ingen yttre verklighet utanför romanen, eventuell realism lämnas alltså utanför undersökningen.

Denna intervjuanalys syftar till att undersöka om och hur lärare ser på om elevers självförtroende och identitet hör samman med utseendemässiga faktorer. Informanterna vittnar om olika faktorer som ligger till grund för elevgrupperingar. Lärarna ser olika på hur elever påverkas av ideal från exempelvis reklamen. Dessutom har lärarna olika sätt att arbeta för stärka elevers självförtroende, i detta arbete kategoriseras lärarna som antingen kunskapsinriktade eller socialt inriktade..

Den moderna kommunikatören ska, enligt litteratur kring ämnet, arbeta med strategisk kommunikation utifrån ett reflexivt förhållningssätt. Detta är en studie som behandlar och undersöker kommunikatörsyrket i en organisation. Syftet är att analysera hur en modern kommunikatör arbetar med strategisk kommunikation ur ett reflexiv perspektiv, för att se hur väl det stämmer överens med litteraturen och undersökningars moderna bild av yrket. Det är relevant att undersöka den moderna kommunikatören både på grund av att yrket påstås vara under en förändring där det tar allt mer plats i organisationer, och eftersom samhällsförändringar även ställer nya krav på informations- och kommunikationsansvariga.

Many organizations utilize decision support systems in order to handle different tasks and tosupport the decision-making process. Decision support system is a broad term used to referto several different types of systems. These types of systems can handle a wide range ofoperations within the organization. Consequently this will have an impact on differentoperations within the organization. The main aim of this study was to create a betterunderstanding regarding the impact of decision support systems on the various operationswithin the City Council's procurement units which in turn will increase effectiveness.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how girls groups, particularly in school, can help girls with feelings of stress and pressure they can experience in their everyday life. We also want to examine how girls groups can be used, and explain why they should be held in school and not only in other organizations. The information we?ve gathered comes from books and websites that cover the subject. In addition to this, we?ve also handed out surveys and implemented interviews with both younger girls with girls groups experience, a teacher and a youth recreation leader. The theoretical aspect of this essay stems from two different theories: Labeling theory and Strain theory.

Companies learn through their employees. In this paper I make research into how knowledge transfer and learning occur at Metso Paper Karlstad AB, which is a partly project based organization.The result is that there are many factors that affect the knowledge transfer in a company. Knowledge transfer occurs mainly between individuals within the company, but also between departments and other actors outside the company. In the gaps between these actors, there is a risk that knowledge is not transferred, which is an obstacle to learning. A great deal of the knowledge transfer and the learning is carried out through individual?s own drive and motivation.
