The increased interest in a sustainable environment puts pressure on companies in the manufacturing industry. Rexcell Tissue & Airlaid AB (Rexcell) in Skåpafors produces paper to be converted into tabletop and hygiene products. Rexcell is certified according to the environmental management system ISO 14001, gaining competitive advantages by showing that the company works toward a sustainable environment and that they follow current legislation. The activities at the company are classified as hazardous to the environment according to the Environmental code. Every year, the activities are inspected by an independent inspector.

Companies use different forms of representation to promote business negotiations. The regulations for the right to deduction for the cost of representation are stated in Chapter 16 section 2 of the Swedish Income Tax Act (IL). According to the law there must be an im-mediate connection between the expenditure and the business practice and the claimed de-duction must be reasonable. The Swedish tax authority publishes general recommendations regarding representation which are used as guidelines for the tax payer to follow. The value of sustainability reporting may differ between industries and companies of different sizes. The demands for sustainability reports are expected to increase. By 2010, no previous survey on sustainability reporting practices had been conducted within Swedish corporations. Purpose: The aim of the current study was to examine sustainability reports within Swedish corporations during 2010 and to compare the findings with preceding surveys to determine differences over time and between corporations.

It is crucial for fashion companies to allocate their activities in their value-chain effectively in order to reduce lead-times.

?För ett automatiserat återskapande av inbyggda systems funktionella arkitektur från källkod ochprodukt data?Den ökade komplexiteten i inbyggda system inom fordonsindustrin tillsammans med de striktaresäkerhetsrestriktionerna som infördes av ISO26262 standarden, kräver bättre kunskap ochkännedom om produktarkitekturen. Men, för befintliga produkter som inte var utvecklade enligt enväldefinierad arkitekturmodell, så måste en modell återhämtas.Syftet med detta examensarbete är att automatisera återhämtningen av funktionella arkitekturenför fordons inbyggda system, vilket är ett krav för många av ISO26262 aktiviteter. Dettaexamensarbete föreslår och beskriver två modeller för det inbyggda systemet i ett fordon, och visardess användning för att bland annat generera användarvänliga vyer. Återhämtningen av modellernasker genom att tolka den inbyggda C-koden och bearbeta fordonets data såsom inblandadestyrenheter, deras adresser och CAN buss detaljerna.Två modeller har föreslagits för att fånga den återskapade informationen om inbyggda systemet iett fordon: en produktmodell för inbyggda system och en mjukvaruarkitektur modell för deninbyggda mjukvaran.

The aim of this study is to highlight inequality in Colombia by applying Charles Tilly?s theory of durable inequality through categorical pairs. A qualitative method is applied in order to gain deeper insight to inequality in Colombia. The essay examines the phenomenon by completing a content analysis.

The topic studied deals with possible improvements ofefficiency at the planning department at block 2 in Forsmark i.e. FMP2.FMP2 plans and coordinates over 3,000 operations which is carried out during theannual overhaul of block 2 in Forsmark. Den 1 oktober 2009 trädde en ny kommissionslag (KommL) i kraft. Syftet vara att skapa tidsenliga regler och ett mer jämbördigt avtalsförhållande. För att uppnå detta syfte fick lag om handelsagentur (HagL) stå modell vid utformningen av KommL:s nya bestämmelser och lagarna är nu därför i stort överensstämmande. Det finns dock fortfarande skillnader mellan lagarna som är viktiga att uppmärksamma då det på flertalet områden är oklart vad som gäller vid tillämpningen och olikheterna i vissa fall kan medföra stora konsekvenser för parterna. I denna uppsats behandlas regleringen i den nya kommissionslagen och vilka skillnader som finns i förhållande till HagL samt effekterna av dessa skillnader.

Bakgrund: Redovisnings- och företagsskandaler som ägde rum på 2000-talet i USA och flera europeiska länder satte fart på bolagsstyrningsdebatten. Många länder började införa regler med syfte att förbättra bolagsstyrningen och öka förtroendet för näringslivet. Sverige drabbades liksom andra länder av redovisningsskandaler, och som följd till detta infördes den svenska koden för bolagsstyrning för att återuppbygga marknadens förtroende för de svenska bolagen. Första juli 2005 tillämpades koden i Stockholmsbörsen för alla bolag på A-listan och O-listan med börsvärde över 3 miljarder kronor det vill säga de bolag som ingick i kategorin Large Cap.Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka och analysera hur bolag på OMX Stockholmsbörsen, Large Cap, avviker från koden och om de avviker från samma punkter i koden samt hur utförligt förklarar dessa bolag avvikelserna. Med hjälp av vetenskapliga artiklar som teoretiskt perspektiv vill jag få förståelse för varför koden finns och varför bolag avviker från den samt undersöka om koden fungerar som det var tänkt.Metod: För att undersöka i vilken omfattning bolag avviker från koden och vilka punkter det som bolagen avviker från har jag läst igenom och granskat bolagens årsredovisningar och bolagsstyrningsrapporter.Teoretisk referensram: I detta kapitel har jag tagit upp tidigare forskning som handlar om andra länders bolagskoder och principen följa eller förklara, samt orsaker till varför bolag väljer att följa eller avvika från koden.

The aim of this Master thesis was to examine news journalism covering expressions of mourning related to violent or unexpected deaths. What rituals for mourning are brought out in media and do media present guidance to how mourners should behave? The questions examined were: What characterised news events that leaded to texts on expressions of mourning? How was grief framed? Which narrative patterns were there in the texts? How was the deceased represented? How were the mourners represented? 165 texts, from Swedish daily newspapers, covering 93 different news events were analysed. The methods were mainly discourse analysis with focus on identities and relations, but also semiotic analysis with focus on staging and symbols and narrative analysis with focus on patterns for storytelling. The result showed that a news story about ordinary people expressing their feelings of grief has elements of melodrama. The news story is based on the myth of the victim, and formed as a typical story where equilibrium is disturbed when the inconceivable happens and the mourners can by their actions restore equilibrium.

The municipality of Västervik, with support from Envipro Miljöteknik AB, is carrying out a main study of the minefields at Gladhammar. Mining of iron, copper and cobalt under different periods from the 16th century until the end of the 19th century has led to discharges of metals to the lakes situated downstream. The aim of the main study is to investigate the possibilities to reduce the environmental load on the surrounding ground and water caused by heavy metals from the mine. The present report is a part of the main study. The aim of the work is to investigate the geochemistry of the groundwater.

I den ekonomiska världen förekommer även Enron som en whistleblowing skandal, som många känner till då det är den största företagsskandal som inträffat under modern tid. Whistleblowing definieras som ett verktyg som ska motverka oegentligheter och börjar införskaffas av fler företag. Medan föregående studier undersöker vad som rapporteras, men också vilka individer som blåser i pipan, förekommer det inte någon studie om hur arbetet med whistleblowing faktiskt ser ut i företagen.
