Keywords used were "ruminants" AND "Cholesterol" AND "Trans FattyAcids" and "ruminants" AND "Blood Lipids" AND "Trans Fatty Acids".Selection criteriaInclusion criteria were RCT studies conducted on healthy people who did not receive medicationfor hyperlipidemia. Moreover, the results were to be based on fasting blood samples, where atleast ten hours of fasting preceded the analysis of the blood lipids.Data collection and analysisThe search generated eight studies. These were graded according to SBU:s Granskningsmall förrandomiserad kontrollerad prövning, after which four studies were selected.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att studera hur P3 Nyheter är utformat, utifrån de tre nivåerna public service, radion som medium och programanalys. Tidigare forskning: Margareta Rönnberg har undersökt public service-nyheter för barn (8-14 år), genom att jämföra Barnjournalen (1978-1979) med Lilla Aktuellt (2007), och menar att eftersom barn är politiska varelser så borde de få ta del av den offentliga diskussionen. Studien rör sig över såväl offentlighetsfrågor och public journalism som ungdomskultur, och fokus ligger på utvecklandet av demokratin genom ett stärkande av medborgarnas makt. Det är ett stort hopp från de barn som tittar på Lilla Aktuellt till P3:s 20-30-åringar, men vad jag vet finns det inget nyhetsprogram som riktar sig till åldersgruppen 14-20 år. Det gör att P3 Nyheter blir nästa steg på vägen. Är det rent av möjligt att P3 Nyheter ska slussa människor vidare till Dagens Eko och "vanliga" Aktuellt när de blir äldre? Metod och material: Jag gör en explanativ, kvalitativ textanalys för att förklara varför texten ser ut som den gör.

In the current study, the aim was to investigate whether tail posture and motion can be an indicator of the emotional state of pigs and if the tail posture of the pig is affected by social breeding value (SBV), coping style and/or housing. Emotional state can be defined in two dimensions: valence and arousal. Two batches of 96 finishing pigs were studied in a one generation selection experiment with a 2x2 set up and were housed in a barren or straw bedded pen. In each pen, 6 pigs (3 male, 3 female) were housed. A back-test was done to determine the coping style of the pigs with two categories; high resister and low resister pigs.

Background: Sporting events conveyed by the TV medium affect people and can give many unforgettable experiences. Sport may be synonymous with excitement and drama or just serve as entertainment. Through TV broadcasts from different sporting events, millions of televiewers all over the world have enjoyed athletic feats of extreme top class. TV broadcast sport always attracts a great number of viewers, also in Sweden. The prices of broadcasting rights to sporting events have risen strongly during the last decade, much as a consequence of the increasing competition between different TV companies both internationally and in Sweden.

A film can attract all kinds of emotions and moods of the audience through its audiovisual communications and cinematic expression, in which music plays a significant role in both understanding and interpretation of film content.It is interesting to explore the musical significance and the emotional aspect of the film out of a media and communications perspective and visual communications perspective because it?s a subject that belongs to the communications of scientific discipline as film is a media text which is working both as communicative and as audio-visual medium with its expressive aspects.The purpose of this bachelor?s paper is to increase and deepen the understanding of music's function and significant role in context with its reinforcing sense of visual expression in film. More specifically, it aims to explore the musical value of the expressive aspect of the media text in form of film musical Les Misérables (2012), which has been transmedialised from the novel of the same name, referring to the sound, music and song in relation to the film's visual expression.The research questions are at the core of the essay study: "how is music used to reinforce the cinematic visual expression?" and "how can music signify the narrative and highlight the emotional aspect of the film?" The theoretical framework is based on some of the key scholars assumptions such as Michel Chion (1994) and Claudia Gorbman (1987), who share the same theoretical views that the soundtrack seems powerful when it expresses its participation in a scene?s emotional moods as the music follows the scene?s rhythm, the image?s flow and contributes emotional and musical codes of emotions and expressions. According to Chion sound and image interact together to tell a story where sound enrich the image with expressive and informative values.

Ekolod är en teknik som används inom hydrografin för att kartlägga samt visualisera djup och bottentopografi inom marina områden. Tekniken bygger på att det finns skillnader i olika materials förmåga att fortplanta tryckvågor, vilket innebär att reflektioner uppstår i övergången mellan olika medier, som till exempel mellan vatten och sediment. Ekolodet omvandlar elektrisk energi till akustisk energi och en tryckvåg breder ut sig i vattnet till dess att vågfronten träffar ett medium vars akustisk impedans skiljer sig från den för vatten. Vid gränsytan kommer en del av vågen att reflekteras åter mot vattenytan, en del att fortsätta i det nya mediet och en del kommer att spridas okontrollerat på grund av ojämnheter längs botten. Mängden energi som reflekteras åter mot vattenytan är beroende på skillnader i akustisk impedans mellan vattnet och sedimentet, bottens ytråhet samt ekolodets frekvens.Syftet med denna studie är dels att fördjupa sig i ekolod som teknik samt studera hur ekolodssignalen uppträder i gränsskiktet mellan vatten samt olika bottentyper och sediment.

Sociala medier har utmanat de traditionella marknadsföringsmetoderna och gjort detta möjligt. Mer än hälften av Sveriges befolkning använder det sociala mediet Facebook och i november 2012 använder 74 procent av Sveriges kommuner och regioner mediet. Det har blivit en självklarhet att använda Facebook som ett verktyg i marknadsföringen men det saknas kunskap om hur man på bästa sätt ska marknadsföra sig och kommunicera med sina målgrupper.Denna studie syftar till att undersöka hur kommunikatörer arbetar med platsmarknadsföring via Facebook för att skapa en attraktiv bild av en region.

A large part of the interactions between horse and rider during horseback riding takes place through the reins and the bit and devices for measuring the tension on the reins, rein tension meters, has fairly recently been developed. To safeguard the welfare of the ridden horse riders need to be aware of the rein tension they apply and actively work to decrease it. Furthermore, there is a need to develop the study of rein tension through new techniques and refined analysis procedures. A good-quality rein tension meter should be small in size, sensitive, durable and as accurate for light rein tension as for strong forces. Rein tension meters used in research on horse and rider interaction commonly depend on strain gauge technique for generating rein tension data.

Målet med denna uppsats var att undersöka vilka kommunikativa strategier personer inom PR- och informationsbranschen arbetar efter för att bygga upp och stärka sina personliga varumärken i sociala medier. Studiens huvudfråga lyder ?Vilka kommunikativa strategier använder människor inom PR- och informationsbranschen för att stärka sitt personliga varumärkesbyggande i sociala medier??. Syftet med studien var tudelat, dels ville vi bidra med djupare förståelse kring vad det finns för drivkrafter bakom personligt varumärkesbyggande i sociala medier och dels ville vi bidra med nya infallsvinklar och ett nytt empiriskt material till den samhällsvetenskapliga forskningsfronten.Studiens teoretiska ramverk utgår från varumärkesteori, Erving Goffmans teori om självpresentation samt Pierre Bourdieus teori om kapital och social positionering. Studien är genomförd med kvalitativa metoder, för det första har vi tagit del av aktuell forskning på områdena sociala medier och personligt varumärkesbyggande, vi har även gjort en innehållslig kartläggning av tio digitala personliga varumärken samt genomfört intervjuer med personerna bakom varumärkena.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att finna exoenzymer från Rhizopus sp, Mucor indicus och Rhizomucor pusillus som kan användas vid förbehandling av organiskt avfall. Syftet är även att finna kolkällor/energikällor som tidigare inte använts inom forskningen i ämnet resursåtervinning vid Högskolan i Borås.För att kunna undersöka vilka kolkällor mikroorganismerna bryter ner odlas dessa upp på agarplattor innehållande minimal-medium samt en specifik kolkälla. Efter fyra dagars inkubering i 30oC studerar man agarplattorna för att se om mikroorganismerna vuxit eller inte. Kan man urskilja tillväxt har de lyckats bryta ner kolkällan samt producera motsvarande exoenzym. Då vissa resultat är oklara odlas mikroorganismerna även i skakflaskor, detta för att se om det är själva agarn i agarplattorna som påverkar mikroorganismernas tillväxt.Resultatet visar att vissa mikroorganismer växer bättre än andra.

Filmen är ett medium som knyter samman filmskapare, filmskådespelare, medier och åskådare med varandra i intrikata relationer. Filmbolag producerar och auteurer skapar filmer, skådespelare medverkar i filmerna, medierna marknadsför såväl filmerna som filmskådespelarna och åskådare ser filmerna. Filmskaparen behöver åskådare för att kunna tjäna pengar eller bli omtalad, och behöver filmskådespelare för att få åskådare till sin film. Filmskådespelaren i sin tur behöver åskådare för att bli berömd men det kräver att det finns en film som åskådarna kan se. Skådespelaren är således beroende av det finns filmskapare.Åskådaren behöver filmskapare för att kunna se film men frågan är vad åskådaren behöver filmskådespelare till? Det är idag fullt möjligt att göra filmer utan skådespelare som fysiska aktörer på filmduken.
