Vi har skrivit detta arbete med syftet att ta reda på vilka attityder några lärare och elever har till olika typer av mediala texter. Metoden vi valde att använda oss av var intervjuer. De intervjuade var dels åtta elever i årskurs 4-6 och dels tre lärare som undervisade i samtliga av dessa årskurser Vi kom fram till att böcker är den medieform som används mest i undervisningen men att även andra medier, speciellt film, tycks vara någonting som lärare och elever vill ha mer av i undervisningen. Dessa medier har, under undersökningens gång, visat sig användas på olika sätt och med olika syften, till exempel brukar film användas när ett nytt tema introducerades. Intervjuerna visade att samtliga informanter uppskattar en varierad medieanvändning och anser att det på olika sätt gynnar inlärningen. De slutsatser vi kunnat dra efter att ha analyserat det inspelade intervjumaterialet är att olika typer av mediala texter förvisso värderas högt av både lärare och elever, men användningen av dessa speglar inte alltid dessa värderingar.

Bakgrund: Podcasten är ett färskt tillskott till nuvarande marknadsföringsmedier och har påkort tid visat stor potential inom marknadsföringskommunikation. Den lågaproduktionskostnaden och enkelheten attraherar annonsörer som vill skapa riktad reklam tillsina kunder. De flesta marknadsförare är överens om att det bästa sättet att göra reklam i enpodcast är genom sponsring. Hur konsumenter uppfattar denna typ av reklam är dock oklartdå tidigare studier har adresserat mer traditionella medium.Syfte: Vi vill skapa en förståelse för hur konsumenter uppfattar sponsormeddelanden i enpodcast samt vilket presentationssätt de tycker är bäst.Genomförande: För att uppnå syftet med studien har en kvalitativ undersökning genomförts.Vi har valt att intervjua åtta personer i åldrarna 21-29 år som finns i våra bekantkretsar. Dehar alla lyssnat på en podcast vid mer än ett tillfälle och några är regelbundna lyssnare.Resultat: Vår undersökning visar blandade känslor angående attityd till reklam i podcasts.

As a small and land scarce country, effective waste management is ofoutmost importance in Singapore. In this study the production of biogasthrough anaerobic digestion from the organic fraction of municipal solidwaste (OFMSW) was compared to incineration of the waste. At the momentalmost all of the OFMSW in Singapore is incinerated. Three differentscenarios were compared to the reference scenario (incineration): one with alarge scale biogas plant that can treat half of all OFMSW in Singapore, onewith a medium scale biogas plant about 15 times smaller than the large oneand one with a small scale biogas plant that can treat waste from e.g. ashopping center or a food center.By using life cycle assessment (LCA) the different scenarios were comparedin terms of global warming potential (GWP), acidification, eutrophication,energy use and land use.

This report contains a degree project made by the mechanical engineering students Lennart Andersson and Daniel Jansson. The project has performed in assignment by SOMAS Valves AB in Säffle. SOMAS are leading in development on control and on/off valves. To maintain this position they always want to improve their products. One way in this development is valves that are more tightened.The purpose with our project was to investigate another seat design on a HiCo (High Cobalt Alloy) seat to a SKV 150 PN 25 valve and compare this to an original HiCo seat.By modifying the seat on a ball valve we want to achieve a valve that leaks lesser then a valve whit original seat.

AbstractThis act is about how five children with dyslexia consider and understands their diagnosis. It is also about their self-image, future sights and about how their school life is compared with before they got their diagnosis. The study is implemented autumn 2011 on a medium-sized school in central Sweden. The survey was implemented through interviews with the five children, of which four was girls and one was a boy. The study shows that the children understand their dyslexia relatively well, but that they experience that it is bothersome to live with dyslexia.

Vi ville inventera begreppet värdegrund och arbetet kring detta i gymnasieskolan och ta reda på hur eleverna ser på detta. Vår hypotes är att en gemensam värdegrund inte är förenlig med de överigripande demokratiska värderingarna. Vi har genomfört intervjuer med elever, lärare och sakkunniga i syfte att ge en grund för samtal och dialog i klassrummet. För att redovisa dessa samtal har vi valt film som medium Vi tror att det är i ett samhälle med grundläggande skillnader i värderingar som demokratin hålls levande och det är framför allt på grund av dessa skillnader som vi behöver demokratin. I denna undersökning, om begrepp inom ljuddesign som kan bidra till ett dynamiskt narrativ, ser vi kadenser som en möjlig metod att arbeta utifrån. Med tanke på hur man arbetar med ljud och musik i ljudmotorer till spel kan vi konstatera att kadenser kan vara passande för förmedling av narrativ. Det kräver dock att man förstår kontexten, där kadenserna förekommer. Vi har kommit fram till ett sätt att förklara ljuddesign genom en samling av teorier, akustiskt timmer, dvs. hur man kan förmedla något med ljud, antingen fristående eller tillsammans med ett annat medium..

This is a report of a prestudy commissioned by a medium-sized Swedish company before an imminent major change in IT systems. The change aims to provide a simplified IT administration within the company through a cloud-based approach.The preliminary study provides an interpretation of the concept of cloud computing. It also covers a review of different models to use in order to achieve an internal cloud. The purpose of this work is to explore the artistic processes of an ensemble where a musician and one or more dancers play together, either by improvising or by interpreting music that is written for the ensemble. The main themes are about finding ways to work with written material and still keep the communication between the music and the dance alive.
