The aim of this study was to analyze the transtextual relationship between Hjalmar Söderberg's Jahves eld (The Fire of Yahweh, 1918) and the Book of Exodus. A limitation was set to just focus on the theme regarding the horned face of Moses, which Söderberg extensively discussed in his book, both through narrative and commentary. The methodological and theoretical approach could best be described as a qualitative text analysis where Gérard Genette's model of five types of transtextual relationships (intertextuality, paratextuality, metatextuality, architextuality and Hypertextuality) was used in order to systematically classify the various relationships and in a thorough way relate the texts to each other.The analysis shows that the transtextual relationships are many and varied, and some appears to be more relevant to the study than others. Due to the composition of Jahves eld, its first part (?I österland, i fjärran tid?, most easily described as a paraphrase and pastiche of the Book of Exodus) can be identified as a Hypertext to the Book of Exodus, while the second part (?Markels försvar?) is rather a metatext to both the first part and the Book of Exodus.

Integration av data hör till ett av de största problemen inom datakommunikationen, särskilt då det gäller data från olika system. Därför utvecklades det under 70- och 80-talet ?Standard Generalized Markup Language" (SGML). Tanken med SGML från början var att den skulle underlätta informationsutbytet och skapa mer strukturerade dokument. Problemet med SGML, är att det är oerhört komplext och svåranvänt.

Principles that guide how a classification system should be structured have existed for more than a century. Traditional classification principles can be of great value for the design of classification schemes directories on the web. However, there are differences between the library context in which these principles originated, and the web. This thesis aims at investigating how changes in the context of classification affect the application of traditional principles of classification on the web. Another purpose is to see what implications this has for the design of classification schemes on the web.

Frågeställningarna till detta arbete lyder: Hur ser religionstematiken och motiven ut i respektive roman? Samt: Hur liknar verken varandra och hur skiljer de sig åt i fråga om religiös tematik? Jag kommer även att undersöka hur dessa romaner kan användas i ett didaktiskt sammanhang.Coelho skriver som om han skildrar sanningen vad gäller andlighet i Alkemisten och det förekommer ett antal rättesnören att följa snarare än visdomsord.
