Konstruktion och utvärdering av diplexer
The report descripbs how a diplexer for a hybrid analog/digital filterbank has been constructed and tested. A diplexer divides the frequency band into two different bands that do not who doesn't overlapp each other. The sampling rate for the two ADC:s is 80 Msps, and therefore it is advantage to have zero at 80 MHz. The reason for this is that a proposed class of hybrid filterbanks with very good quality requires a zero at or close the sampling frequency to work well. The diplexer was made in three versions.
Hundhållning i bil : situationen i Sverige och effekter av utetemperaturen. Enkätundersökning och experimentell studie
The aims of this project were to describe the circumstances around dogs being left alone in cars, to investigate owners? knowledge of the risks associated with leaving dogs in cars and the relevant legislation and, finally, to study how changes in the air temperature and air composition in the car affect the dog. The project consisted of a survey of the literature, a questionnaire part and an experimental part.
An important conclusion is the importance of the level of knowledge of owners, since there are several ways in which an owner can prevent their dog from heat stroke and, in the case of an eventual accident, their action can have direct consequences in minimizing the long-term damage to the dog and even whether or not it survives. Fewer than half of the owners in the study knew that for a dog suffering heat stroke, the most important thing is to bring the body temperature down. Only a third of dog owners knew that if a dog is left in a warm car and showing signs of heat stress, then the police should be contacted and the dog quickly helped out of the car.
Tandvårdsrädsla hos barn
Syfte: Syftet är att undersöka validiteten gällande hur väl accelerometern klassificerar mätningar vid 5 sekunders epok. Metod: Ett total av 13 barn i åldrarna 3-5 år inkluderades i studien som genomfördes med accelerometer GT1M och observation med hjälp av observationsprotokollet CARS. Varje barn hade på sig accelerometern i totalt 55 minuter och observerades samtidigt. Detta för att sen jämföra om accelerometern klassificerar samma beteende som observatörerna observerar. Beteendena var indelade i 4 klassificeringar: stillasittande, låg fysisk aktivitet, moderat fysisk aktivitet och kraftig fysisk aktivitet. Den fysiska aktiviteten/inaktiviteten var uppskattad efter 5 olika forskares skärningspunkter: Freedson (FR), Puyau (PU), Treuth (TR), Mattocks (MT) och Evenson (EV).

Ett objekt : om arkitekturen i ett föremål för handling
This thesis is covering my design of an architectural object for the use in a pedagogical setting. The purpose is to create contextual premises for students, making possible the testing of designs, involving plants suitable for the urban environment. Hence, the main features in the object design is suggestive to the urban outdoor rooms - rooms that are formed amongst the city facades.
The thesis is also about the design process set out from a technical reality, based on camera imagery. To a large extent, the thesis consists of reflections concerning the object's function towards pedagogy, perception and materials. Furthermore, the object claims to be a hybrid between architecture and landscape architecture.

This study aims to explore managers? experiences and perceived conditions for exercising leadership in both hybrid and physical work environments. The empirical material consists of eleven semi-structured interviews and four policy documents. The sample includes eleven managers, of whom six work in a physical environment and five in a hybrid setting. The study follows an inductive approach, where the interviews were first collected and later analyzed by identifying patterns and connecting them to theories on different leadership styles, monitoring, and trust.
Spillvärmeåtervinning
SAPA´s resource of waste heat is the basis for this thesis to investigate the possibility of energy assets in their cooling water and possible uses for it. The energy in the waste water is greater than the current need which has three uses which are (1) heating the factory, (2) converting liquid propane to propane gas and (3) local domestic heating. The average energy load that is available is 1, 7 MW and the average temperature in the cooling water is 41°C. The total energy load at dimensioning out side temperature is approximately 1,6 MW for the three current uses. The temperature is currently too low to be used directly in the existing systems so an upgrade is needed.

Den här rapporten är ett examensarbete utfört för Volvo Cars Uddevalla vid Linköpings tekniska högskola. Vår uppgift har varit att hjälpa Volvo Cars Uddevalla med att starta arbetet med energieffektivisering. Det gör vi genom att undersöka vilka möjligheter till energieffektiviseringar som finns för att minska framförallt elanvändningen. Vi har föreslagit ett antal effektiviseringsåtgärder genom att titta på de mest energiintensiva processerna på fabriken och målet för elanvändningen är att minska den med 50 procent.Effektiviseringsåtgärderna har tagits fram genom att leta systemfel, som i princip alltid finns inom ett företag, och genom att undersöka om icke elspecifika processer kan konverteras till bränslen. Det är framförallt stödprocesserna som undersökts eftersom det oftast är bland dem de största systemfelen finns.En uppskattning har slutligen utförts för hur stor energianvändningen blir efter genomförda förändringar.
The Green Evolution of the Car Industry
This Master Thesis covers the concept of Green Cars. The background to the research area is the high and rapidly growing number of cars, which together with other factors ad to the pollution of the environment. Under the Kyoto agreement the signing members agreed to lower the emissions of green house gases, further on the EU has a 3-pillar strategy on carbon dioxide and cars. Included in the EU strategy is a voluntary commitment from the car industry to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from new cars. The easiest way of lowering the emissions is by using alternative fuels and engines.
Åtgärder till varslade : en effektutvärdering av extrainsatta utbildningsinsatser till varslade vid Volvo Cars och dess underleverantörer 2008/2009
Vilka effekter ger särskilda insatser till personer som är uppsagda till följd av varsel? Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka effekterna på återgång till arbete av extra-insatta utbildningar som syftade till omställning vilka fanns tillgängliga för de som varslades vid Volvo Cars och dess underleverantörer 2008/2009. Effektutvärderingen utgår ifrån överlevnadsanalys där projektgruppen matchas mot en kontrollgrupp bestående av samtliga övriga varslade i Sverige. Resultaten visar att gruppen som tog del av utbildningsinsatserna hade signifikant långsammare återgång till arbete jämfört med en matchad kontrollgrupp..

I Sverige används det idag cirka 5,4% förnybara drivmedel inom transportsektorn, att jämföra med under 0,5% år 2000. Av de ickefossila drivmedlen är el något som ofta benämns som en permanent och realistisk framtida lösning. Visionen ?Stockholm ? Elbilsstad 2030? drivs av Stockholms Stad i samarbete med Fortum AB i syfte att ersätta den fossilbränsleslukande fordonsflottan.I den här studien undersöks de tekniska förutsättningarna och de eventuella vinsterna av ett storskaligt införande av elbilar. Studien har gjorts genom en modellering där parametrar som elbilens prestanda, elpris, bilens inköpspris och totala utsläpp använts.
Konceptuell design och utveckling av hybridfordon
This report covers the conceptual design of a new one person hybrid vehicle that is to be fast and convenient to drive on the roads. The vehicle is most of all supposed to be used as a commute vehicle but can also be used at other occasions as well.During the work with this project the group has focused on three larger areas, the outer design (body), wheel chassis and an ergonomically designed interior. The group was not able to just create these parts in 3D to get a trustworthy vehicle, hence number of other components and details were also created to get a better entirety.The outer design starts with idea generation and sketches and ends with a 3D model which is rendered to show how the final product is going to look. The design of the body has been going on during the entire work process due to new ideas and improvements that seemed interesting and had to be changed.The wheel chassis also started with idea generation, research and sketches. It ended up with a simulated 3D model which later on was mounted on the vehicle body to show how the vehicle is going to perform during usage.

The purpose of this study is to explore how hybrid work affects the experience of organizational justice and psychological well-being within an organization where working conditions differ between professional groups. Using a combination of semi-structured interviews and a quantitative survey, the study offers a nuanced understanding of how various work arrangements are perceived and interpreted by employees. The findings show that justice is not primarily about having equal conditions, but rather about how these conditions are understood and communicated within the organization. Many employees accept differences in work arrangements when they are perceived as logically justified and clearly communicated. However, when these differences lack explanation or are associated with injustices, frustration can arise even if employees understand the reasons behind them.

This abstract describes the bachelor degree thesis in computer technology at Växjö University. The company BSR in Växjö has requested an application that can measure a cars performance, with attributes like acceleration times and engine power estimation. The communication between car and computer is via the USB port on the computer and the OBD-II socket on the car with the network protocol CAN, controller area network. Cars from VAG have been the primary focus group and the application has been tested on a Volkswagen Passat CC from 2009. The system is developed in the programming language C# in the environment Visual Studio with the framework .NET.

The aim of the present study was to estimate the correlation between Euro NCAP pedestrian rating scores and injury outcome in real-life car to pedestrian crashes, with special focus on long-term disability. The study also surveyed most frequently injured body regions and risk differences for specific elements of pedestrians hit by cars. Another aim was to determine whether Brake Assist systems affect the injury outcome in real-life car to pedestrian crashes and to estimate the effect in injury reduction of a high Euro NCAP ranking score combined with Brake Assist.In the current study, the Euro NCAP pedestrian scoring was compared with the real-life outcome in pedestrian crashes that occurred in Sweden 2003-2010. The real-life crash data was obtained from the data acquisition system STRADA, which combines police records and hospital admission data. The medical data consisted of International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD) diagnoses and Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) scoring.
