Detta examensarbete handlar om utveckling och konstruktion av ett spjäll och spjällblad till en plattvärmeväxlare som ingår i Fläkt Woods AB:s produktsortiment.Bakgrunden till utvecklingen berodde på två problem med det nuvarande spjället. Ett problem var att det fanns vissa hygienproblem med befintlig konstruktion som behövde rättas till och ersättas mot en bättre lösning. Detta för att produkten ska kunna certifieras enligt normen VDI 6022. Det andra problemet var att den befintliga konstruktionen kändes gammal och behövde förbättras.Examensarbetet omfattar två stycken huvuddelar/mål. Den första delen är att finna ett material för att kunna täta i spjället på ett effektivt sätt.

This examination work is the final work in our education to become a Bachelor of Science inMechanical Engineering by the University of Lund.The main purpose with this work has been to develop a new effective material handling system for TPPM AB in Lund since the existing system starts to become out of date. The future system that is going to be installed shall have the capacity to support all machines with unit-, semi- and finished goods during full production. The work has also included studying the possibilities to change the material flow in a positive way between the storage and the production when one is using existing buildings.During our work we have been used a simulation program called AutoMod, performing company visits, interviews and reviewed internal and external information to create a picture of what the best conclusion can be. During the work we have contacted five suppliers to receive system solutions and quotatioris. The suppliers, which have been contacted, are Swisslog, Moving, Rocia, Christensen & Hansen and ABB.

I händelse av ett radioaktivt utsläpp är det viktigt att ha bra beredskap med skyddsåtgärder som bidrarmed det bästa skyddet för den utsatta delen av befolkningen. Direkt efter ett utsläpp utgör exponering viainandning det största problemet eftersom partiklar och gaser ännu inte hunnit deponerats på mark, imoln och så vidare. Byggnader bidrar med ett skydd mot inhalation eftersom luften utanför och inutibostaden byts ut relativt långsamt. Hur stor del av föroreningen som tar sig in till inomhusluften och hurlång tid detta tar är viktig information för att avgöra om befolkningen är tillräckligt skyddade inutibyggnader eller om evakuering bör ske. I detta arbete har kunskap från befintlig litteratur samtmodellering använts för att beskriva generella förhållanden med vilka en förorening kan ta sig in i och utur en byggnad.

Syftet med arbetet var att framställa en beräkningsmodell som behärskar att beräkna ett klimatsystems energiförluster samt livscykelanalys, LCC. Samt att använda denna modell vid jämförelse av två befintliga system.Modellen skapades i programmet Excell och använder sig av angiven indata för att beräkna resultat. Den användes för jämförelse av fyra lokaler i VIDEUM ABs byggnader. Två kontor och två föreläsningssalar jämfördes. Den beräknade skillnaden i energiförbrukning kunde i huvudsak härledas till det ena systemets längre drifttid över helgen samt att ett av kontoren drevs med högt konstantflöde hos ventilation även under frånvaro.Huruvida styrning av system sker efter koldioxidkoncentration eller temperatur verkar spela mindre roll för systemets förluster.

The aim of this master thesis was to measure the terminological consistency when indexing fiction. The study included ten participants, five librarians and five patrons who indexed two novels in three steps. Besides calculating the terminological consistency a typified index based on the term frequency was created.Subject heading list Att indexera skönlitteratur was used as a controlled vocabulary and to calculate the consistency the asymmetrical formula was used.The result showed that the study produced relatively high consistency values compared to other studies. The subject heading list increased the consistency value for all of the participants, for the patrons the increase was substantial. The librarians produced higher consistency values compared to the patrons in almost every step and they had in percentage lower amount of terms used only once..

The work includes anintroductory description of the theorybehind AOP technology based on aliterature review on the subject. Students? performance in school is dependent on the indoor climate. This report studies four schools regarding air quality and thermal environment. A survey was made at the schools as well as measurements of carbon dioxide, dampness, thermal climate and, as an indicator for the furniture?s capability to collect dust, shelf factor and fleece factor.

If a building is heated by a heat pump, it is of high importance that the heat pump has a high coefficient of performance. An exhaust air heat pump extracts heat from the building?s exhaust air. The air has a relatively high and constant temperature all year around, leading to a high seasonal coefficient of performance. This thesis examines whether it is profitable to complement an exhaust ventilation system with an exhaust air heat pump in an apartment block that already has geothermal heat pump, district heating, oil- or biofuel heated system.

Samtidigt som debatten kring jordens klimatförändring är i full gång har intresset för att miljöcertifiera byggnader vuxit oerhört. För fastighetsägare är det en möjlighet att bevisa för sina hyresgäster och köpare att byggnaden är hållbar. Är en byggnad miljöcertifierad har en oberoende part intygat att den uppfyller en nivå av hållbarhet som bestäms utifrån standardiserade kriterier. Fastighetsägaren kan alltså använda certifikatet i marknadsföringssyfte.Den här studien undersökte om en byggnad som är byggnadsminnesförklarad kan miljöcertifieras med Miljöbyggnad. Målet var att hitta kostnadseffektiva lösningar för att uppfylla de miljöcertifieringskriterier som eventuellt inte uppfylls idag.

The study aims to contribute knowledge about children's perceptions of the leisure-time as a learning environment. The study can be seen as an attempt to highlight the possible learning in the leisure-time, formally or informally.The study is based on two group interviews with a total of 11 children and was conducted by an interview guide with question areas to be discussed freely so that the children could give as full an answer as possible.Main results of the study show that children feel that they are staying at the leisure-time to get care when their parents are working and that they primarily associate the leisure-time with playing. The results show however that children feel that they learn things when participating in the leisure-time teaches controlled activities.It is possible to draw conclusions about the child actually experienced the leisure-time as a learning environment, but it can be difficult to identify when and how learning actually occurs. However, children do not perceive that there is learning while they play..

This study has the purpose of looking at the current and future position of recordlabels from a context involving the technological developments, while theopportunities for the artists are changing. As the actors inside them music industryfind themselves in an ever changing climate where traditional supply chains arethreatened by new technology, the record labels need to change the way they workin order to maintain their existence in the music industry. The study has beenconducted by interviewing a number of people involved in the music industry, byusing a qualitative method approach. The conclusion of the study shows that thetraditional way of doing business by treating music as a product that makes revenueis gone. Instead the labels have to take on new roles formerly run by third parties inorder to survive and be profitable, especially since artists can now in control ofactivities that used to be controlled by the record label..

Detta examensarbete är en energianalys av Studentboendet på Nyhemsgatan, Kv. Gråstenen Halmstad, i samarbete med Halmstads Fastighets AB. Fastigheterna är byggda 1997 och är till antalet 11 stycken med sammanlagt 385 lägenheter, avsedda för studenter under den tid de studerar i staden. I var och ett av de 11 husen finns för gemensamt bruk ett allrum samt ett större kök där studenter kan samlas om så önskas och på entréplan finns en tvättstuga tillgänglig. En analys genomfördes genom att studera konstruktionsritningar, ventilation, värme och vattensystem samt att beräkningar på fastigheterna utfördes i datorprogrammen, VIP+ och Isover Energi vilka sedan analyserades. Med hjälp av termografering påvisar vi här köldbryggor vid fönster samt vid anslutningen vägg och vindsbjälklag. Till sist tog vi fram åtgärdsförslag som vi rekommenderar för att sänka energiförbrukningen. Bland dessa åtgärdsförslag kan nämnas installation av frånluftsvärmepump samt en översyn av duschanordningarna. Som sammanfattning kan sägas att byggnaderna är i ett gott skick men med höga energiförbrukningar där möjlighet till besparingar finns. .

Electromyography (EMG) is a technique that measures muscle activity, whichmeans detecting the electrical signals that travel through the muscle in connectionwith muscle contraction. This project deals with how EMG can be used tocontrol a computer game.The project is centered around the game 'EMG Track Game' which has beenconstructed as part of this work. 'EMG Track Game' is controlled by twoelectrodes fastened on the player. These are attached to two selected musclesand control the motion in one direction each, one up and the other one down.The game is constructed in the purpose of being used in several elds of application.Among these are as entertainment, training equipment and a tool inresearch related to EMG and muscles.To highlight a possible application a study concerning muscle control has beenconducted. It answers the question of whether players score better with theirdominant arm in comparison with their non-dominant one.

The organic farmland is increasing all the time and the goal is that 15 % of the Swedish farmland will be in organic production in year 2010. The organic production needs new and more effective ways to control weeds, and there is the row harrowing coming as a good complement to the conventional weed harrowing. In this experiment is weed harrowing whit different row spaces and row harrowing with a spacing of 25 cm compared. Then are the weed picked and the weight taken of them. The yield is compared in the 7 different ways of treatment. The results is not showing any significant differences in yield even when the row spacing is 25 cm instead of 12,5 cm. Even the spring wheat that is a sensitive crop and has bad tillering is doing well in this experiment. Now with modern technology where the row harrow is controlled by a camera that making the row harrow to follow the rows is it the soil coverage of the crop that is the limit for the speed.
