Religious phenomena, such as prayer, have more or less always interested and engaged people, but most likely for different purposes. Since the early 20th century, starting notably with Edmund Husserl and especially Martin Heidegger, phenomenologists have taken an interest in understanding and expounding the meaning of religious phenomena. The attention of such a discourse have not ceased but is rather current, and also of importance seeing that religious themes, such as prayer, still occupy a great extent of Human life and practice.Phenomenology of religion is not a science of religion: the former approaches religion in terms of its meaningfulness, whereas the latter as an object of inquiry and in the same manner as an economist approaches economical indicators in order to understand and explain how the whole economy functions. In other words, phenomenology of religion expounds religion, as it were, from within, while science of religion does it from without or externally.When approaching prayer phenomenologically, it shows itself to be a process or structure through which the one praying empty himself in order to be able to receive the valuable presence of the other. The value that is received from the other will also be reflected by the one praying and in that sense effect his surroundings and fellow Humans..

There are a large number of studies on colour and its influence on Human feelings, but thereare only a few studies on the association between feelings and colour combinations. Thisstudie investigates the association between colour combinations consisting of three equallysized colours and the feelings they convey. The methodology used in this studie follows theinstructions from the Nippon Colour & Design Research Institute (NCD) in Japan, NCD havestudied consumer psychology towards colour and colour combinations for several decades.This study used semantically differential scales to evaluate existing colour combinations fromNCD to descriptive adjectives and creation of new colour combinations to explore therelationship between colour combinations and conveyed feelings. A total of 69 peopleparticipated in the tests. The main conclusions formed by this study are: (1) the feelingsconnected with the colour combinations differ partly between the Swedish population and theNCD and (2) the Swedish population have similar feeling associations to most colourcombinations, except for trend dependent adjectives such asmodern, cool etc.

In the palliative care there are many close encounters between the care-taker and the care-giver. To be touched is foundational to every Human being and the care-giver shows his presence to the care-taker, when he touch the care-taker. Touch is an important tool for the care-giver in the care for the care-taker. It becomes a natural way of communicating. The aim of this literature study was to describe which factors that are important, for the care-taker in the palliative care, to receive touch in the purpose of feeling well-being.

In this modern period, societal and religious groups are strongly divided regarding the acceptability of abortion. Despite so many attempts by various groups to find a middle ground, the debate on abortion still remains largely polarized, at its most dramatic point with the extreme conservatives claiming abortion to be the moral equivalent of murder and the extreme liberals see it as devoid of moral import. And this polarization is due to the legal battle that continues to shadow moral discussions. An acceptance of an ethical nuance will here play as a concession on the deeply contested question of whether abortion should be a legally protected option for a woman, and to an extent blame for the continued crudeness which can be laid at the doorstep of a moral theory itself. Apparently, the ethical literature on abortion has focused almost exclusively on the tiniest moral assessment on whether and when abortion is morally permissible.

The aim of this literature review was to determine how you as a nurse should treat a woman who has been exposed to battery, to be able to offer a professional and individual care. The validation involved evaluation of the assaylinearity, precision, stability and recovery.The method was proved to be linear for both TruLab control and Medinor control.

The major focus in this study is structural inequalities in primary school in Sweden. UNESCO points out that in many developing countries, up to 40% of the children perform at or below the lowest proficiency level in language and mathematics. Sweden has been criticized by the UN about the large differences in educational achievements between different regions. Based on an official study Sweden considers that those differences are related to ethnically segregate residential areas. My research question is whether the Swedish government takes adequate consideration of the impact that socioeconomically aspects have on educational achievement.

It is estimated that approximately 10 000 people are living in Sweden after having been rejected residence permit or asylum, meaning that they have to hide from the authorities while facing a risk of being deported by means of violence as they do not wish to leave voluntarily.For their existence, a vast number of people employed by the public administration can be expected to contribute to the wellbeing of the hidden people through their professions as bureaucrats.The bureaucrats can thereby be expected to be torn between different sets of value systems, roles and obligations towards the state and towards the hidden people.In this master thesis, I examine how five bureaucrats motivate their acting for the sake of the hidden people in terms of legitimacy, legality and morality in their administration, towards their ethic responsibilities and towards society as a whole.The results show that the bureaucrats see themselves as saviours of ethical values in an illegitimate administration where economic efficacy and arbitrary decision-making constantly transgresses The Human Rights, ratified by the Swedish Parliament..

Uppsatsen ger historiska perspektiv och ekonomiska analyser av samband mellan ekonomisk utveckling och ojämlikhet. Den teoretiska utgångspunkten är två artiklar av Oded Galor och Omer Moav som utarbetat formella modeller för analys av ojämlikhetens inverkan på tillväxten, med betoning på Humankapitalets ökade betydelse i ekonomins senare utvecklingsstadier. Den empiriska undersökningen som författarna gör i artikeln ?Das Human- Kapital: A Theory of the Demise of the Class Structure? för England, är mallen för uppsatsen. Boverket har huvudansvar för att skapa en portal för samhällsplanering som ska kunna förse kommuner, landsting, företag och privatpersoner med olika typer av kartinformation. Denna portal kallas Planeringsportalen och som ett led i dess utveckling hölls ett designmöte i april 2007. Inför mötet gjordes en analys av diverse förebilder för att beskriva de goda designlösningar som finns i genren WebGIS, enligt förlaga från Lundberg, Holmlid och Arvolas (2007) arbete. Uppsatsen beskriver hur dessa designlösningar kan användas i designen av Planeringsportalen tillsammans med en redogörelse för hur förebilder kan bidra till en bättre designprocess. Genren representeras i arbetet av webbplatserna Eniro, Norge digitalt, RATP samt Mapquest som alla studerats enligt ett formaliserat förfarande.

SammandragJag har analyserat hur hundkläder presenteras i tre svenska e-shopar. Inspirerad av det relativt nya fältet Human Animal Studies ville jag undersöka hur hundens kön, ras och subjektsstatus görs. Jag använder diskursanalys av texters och bilders samspel.Det är få hundplagg i min analys som uttalat sägs vara för tikar eller hanar men en möjlighet att markera kön på sin hund finns ofta närvarande i och med färger eller tryck Tik- och markeringsskydd, som är avsedda för ena eller andra könet, uppvisar också skillnader. Dock verkar även en något feminin klädsel vara accepterad för hanar och det mönster jag tycker mig se av att mindre, mer pälsklädda raser framställs feminint är inte entydigt.Kontroll av hunden verkar förhandlas genom att vikten av bekvämlighet poängteras. Jag drar därmed slutsatsen att hunden ses som subjekt men visar att det är på ett antropomorfistiskt sätt där människor tillskrivs föräldrarstatus.

Den här studien utgår från en fenomenografisk ansats. Vi avser att fånga skilda uppfattningar om arbetsplatslärande och studera hur uppfattningarna påverkar medarbetarnas arbetstillfredsställelse. Vi utgick från två frågeställningar: vilka uppfattningar har medarbetare av hur de lär på sin arbetsplats, och finns det skillnader i medarbetarnas uppfattningar av vad de lär? Resultatet visar att deltagarnas uppfattningar om fenomenet skiljer sig åt. Tolkningen av resultatet visar att deltagarna lär på olika sätt och använder kunskapen olika i deras yrkesutförande.

I denna rapport ställs frågor beträffande hur Viaplays streamingtjänst kan se ut i framtiden gällande TVOD och SVOD genom nya designlösningar. För att göra detta har en människo-centrerad designprocess använts för att undersöka attityder och beteenden kring TVOD. I undersökningen utreddes det hur konsumenter ser på TVOD och kombinationen med SVOD.
