The proponents for conscience wants to get a clause that will allow the health professionals to due. scruples waive certain duties. Swedens decision makers has despite pressure from the Christian De-mocrats and the Sweden Democrats decided not to implement freedom of conscience in health care. The purpose of this paper is to investigate whether Sweden has the obligation to provide for freedom of conscience in health care. Furthermore, it must be examined, whose rights according to the law will go first, health professionals right to freedom of conscience or the patient right to equal treat-ment.

In Malin Kivelä?s novel Du eller aldrig (2006) the reader experiences the world through the body of Aija, the narrator; a middle aged woman living in Helsinki. Genom att undersöka vad som motiverar projektledare och vilken syn de har på sin framtida karriär, syftar studien till att bidra med kunskap som kan hjälpa HR-funktioners arbete med att utveckla strategier för att behålla denna värdefulla kompetens.Studien genomfördes med en deduktiv forskningsansats och kvalitativ strategi med semistrukturerade intervjuer som datainsamlingsverktyg. Totalt genomfördes tio intervjuer med projektledare och ytterligare fyra med informanter.För att analysera det empiriska materialet användes litteratur kring projektledarrollen, karriärsutveckling, motivation och Human Resource Management.Studiens resultat visade att projektledare har olika uppfattningar kring karriär. Dock ansåg de flesta att karriär innebär utveckling med fokus på lärande och att de själva bär ansvar för sin karriärutveckling med stöd från ansvarig chef. Projektledares syn på framtida karriärmål skiftade mellan att vilja fortsätta inom projektledning till att vilja byta inriktning till linjechefsyrket. De projektledare som ville fortsätta inom projektledning ville antingen bygga en karriär genom utmanande och intressanta projekt eller avancera genom att driva större komplexa projekt.

Syftet med detta arbete var att jämföra den officiella bilden av demokrati i Kuwait, såsom den beskrivs i konstitutionen från 1962, med den bild som externa oberoendeaktörer ger vad gäller demokrati i landet. Den externa bilden hämtades från olika FNrapporter, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International och The Bureau ofDemocracy, Human Rights and Labour. Dessa kompletterades sedan med en analysav det politiska systemet i Kuwait. Arbetet grundade sig på en demokratiskanalysmetod som utarbetats av International IDEA (Institute for Democracy andElectoral Assistance).Det visade sig att konstitutionen innehöll många demokratiska och individuellarättigheter och garantier ofta i linje med IDEA:s principer. Konstitutionen beskrevinte en fullvärdig demokrati, men många av dess komponenter fanns ändå där.

The aim of this study is to investigate how the female author, Charlotte Brontë, describes the development of her female protagonist in Jane Eyre and to compare this to how the male author, Fyodor Dostoevsky, describes the development of his male protagonist in Crime and Punishment, inside the patriarchal 19th century.My basic idea is that both characters in these two books have to reach their own unknown to find satisfaction and a new existence, and I want to investigate what the characters have to go through to find that existence. To help me in my exploration of Jane Eyre I make use of Gilbert and Gubars? book The Madwoman in the Attic and in the case of Crime and Punishment, I make use of Pelikan Straus? article ??Why did I say ?Women!??? Raskolnikov Reimagined?. Both authors discuss literature from a gender perspective, but without comparing female and male characters or authors with each other, which I believe is important for a more holistic understanding of gender issue.The conclusion of this essay is that these books are describing the main characters? evolution towards their personal unknown with the same tools, a double self, an important symbol, and in the end a love partner that embodies that unknown.

To curb greenhouse gases and mitigate climate change is one of the biggest challenges human society face today. Carbon dioxide (CO2) has accumulated rapidly in the atmosphere as a consequence of burning of fossil fuels and deforestation. The aim of this study is to explore two methods to store carbon dioxide in geological formations and biological sinks. The aim is also to discuss the two mitigation options from a sustainable perspective and whether it can lead to a better environment and benefits for local and global societies. The research questions are: Which method to store carbon dioxide, geological or biological, is the most effective? Which method to store carbon dioxide, geological or biological, has the greatest potential to promote sustainable development for local communities?The method used is a comparative case study and presents four case studies that explore the potential for CO2 storage offshore in Norway and Brazil; and in tropical forests in Mexico and Brazil.
