Vaccinology is an ever expanding field. As a member of the veterinary staff it is important to stay up to date with the continuous new scientific data and recommendations that affect the care that our companion animals receive at the veterinary clinic. This paper presents adverse vaccination reactions, their cause, risk factors and suggestions how we can minimize the risk of adverse vaccine events in dogs. Dog owners in Sweden were allowed to answer a questionnaire about adverse events following vaccination. Lethargy, edema and pruritus were among the most frequently seen adverse effects.

The purpose of this essay is to explore how educators are supposed to prioritize their work at the preschool so that all children are listened to and the conditions necessary for kids to dare to express their feelings and thoughts are in place. How is the relationship important for the child's learning? How do I become a committed educator who knows how to interpret and prioritize my work so it benefits children's learning? I am developing these questions in two parts in my following text. Firstly I am writing about why it is important that we who work as pedagogues meet the child on the child?s own terms.

To describe your profession can sometimes be hard. Everyone knows what a music teacher is and what her work includes. But what about a eurhythmic teacher - who knows what she does? By experience my answer is: not many. Inthis essay I have outlined differences in method and lecture planning between a eurhythmic and a music teacher, to be able to find out the answer to my research question - what a eurhythmic teacher can contribute to the school subject music.I chose an observation research where I observed a mixed class with children from fourth and fifth grade.

The literature also includes the concepts of BIM and sustainability in order to provide a clearer view of its meaning. The interviews have brought the study's overall understanding of the industry and guidance on the subject.The results are presented in a table, where the aspects relevant to sustainable building are listed.

År 2003 utnämnde UNESCO årtiondet 2005-2014 till decenniet för utbildning i hållbar utveckling och även andra internationella och nationella beslut togs för att föra in utbildning för hållbar utveckling (Education for Sustainable Development) i skolans alla ämnen. ESD syftar till att eleven ska utveckla sin förmåga att kritiskt granska olika såväl ekologiska, sociala och ekonomiska perspektiv samt kunna ta ställning till dessa genom ett aktivt deltagande i olika demokratiska processer för att stödja hållbar utveckling. Forskning på området har dock visat att integreringen i skolans alla ämnen inte har fungerat på det sätt det har varit avsett. Denna uppsats syftar till att ta reda på om ESD förekommer inom engelskaundervisningen på gymnasienivå (inom Skaraborgs län). Den försöker också att identifiera vilka hinder och möjligheter det kan finnas för att arbeta med ESD i engelska A/B.

Grönt byggande ligger i tiden och är en av framtidens nyckelfaktorer för konkurrenskraft och samhällsansvar i byggindustrin. För att lyckas ser dock vi en avgörande betydelse i att grönt förankras i hela organisationen samt att en grundläggande förståelse skapas. För att bättre nå ut hela vägen till organisationen anser vi att implementering spelar en betydande roll.I vårt examensarbete har vi valt att analysera de problemområden som vi stött på inom grönt byggande, för att därefter bryta ned dessa till mer konkreta nyckel- och framgångsfaktorer. Med denna studie hoppas vi kunna bidra med en förståelse för hur Skanska, Region Hus Stockholm Bostäder ska arbeta vidare för att lyckas implementera grönt byggande samt nå företagets mål inom området. Frågan vi inledningsvis ställde oss var:Finns det idag några generella framgångsfaktorer som kan generera förslag till handling för att lyckas med strategiimplementering?Hur ska Skanska arbeta för att lyckas förmedla, engagera och implementera grönt byggande inom Regionen Hus Stockholm Bostäder, från ledning till projekt?Vi har angripit frågan genom att på regionen empiriskt studera nuläget inom grönt byggande.

Användandet av alternativa behandlingsmetoder, däribland akupunktur, ökar i många länder. Enligt WHO ska varje medlemsland verka för en ökad integration mellan skolmedicin och komplementär- och alternativmedicin. Enligt Socialstyrelsen bör sjuksköterskor söka information och implementera ny kunskap i den skolmedicinska sjukvården. Syftet var att undersöka patienters upplevelser av att ha valt och erhållit alternativ behandling med akupunktur för sina besvär. Ansatsen är en kvalitativ intervjustudie med narrativ metod där manifest innehållsanalys användes för analysen.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka i vilken omfattning gymnasieelevers skolk är ett uttryck på brister inom skolans verksamhet. Utifrån syftet har två frågeställningar framkommit: Hur påverkar skolan som institution frekvensen av skolk? Vilket förändringsarbete bör ske inom skolan för att minska frekvensen av skolk? De perspektiv studien utgår ifrån är, kontextuellt samt ungdomskulturellt. Rapporten bygger på fem utförda fokusgruppsintervjuer med elever från årskurs två och tre på gymnasiet, samt sex enskilda semistrukturerade intervjuer med skolledning, elevhälsa och lärare. Materialet har bearbetats genom noggrann avlyssning av ljudinspelningar, med fokus på att finna likheter och olikheter i det empiriska materialet.

BAKGRUND: De som drabbats av svåra livshändelser (här begränsade till skilsmässa eller make/makas död) betraktas som en riskgrupp när det gäller både allmän hälsa och munhälsa.SYFTE: Att undersöka om och i vilken mån svåra livshändelser (skilsmässa eller make/makas död) påverkar den allmänna hälsan och munhälsan, samt vilka aspekter av munhälsa som en global munhälsofråga kan fånga upp.MATERIAL OCH METOD: Studien utfördes som en kvantitativ studie med en enkät om munhälsa som delades ut till samtliga födda 1942 i Örebro och Östergötlands län under 2007. Svarsfrekvensen var 73,1% av totalt 8313 individer. Både allmän hälsa och munhälsa mättes med hjälp av en global fråga. Munhälsan mättes dessutom med sex ytterligare frågor. Deskriptiv analys gjordes, skillnader mellan grupper testades och kompletterades med logistiska regressionsanalyser.RESULTAT: Det finns en statistiskt signifikant skillnad mellan dem som är frånskilda och/eller änka/änkling jämfört med dem som är gifta/sambo.

The purpose of this study is to conduce to the understanding of what challenges the HRdepartmentfaces in the work with the psychosocial work environment in nonprofit organizationsin Sweden. A particular focus in the study is on how the certain features of the nonprofit sectoraffect and tend to contribute to these challenges. In both Swedish and International research thereappears to be a lack of studies that deal with the psychosocial work environment in the nonprofitsector, which is one of the main reasons for this study. International research show, among otherthings, that employees in this sector have a higher degree of work satisfaction than in othersectors. Especially, they value the sense of making a contribution to the society, to get feedbackon their work performance as well as they expect a high level of co-determination.

Problem discussion: Syncron experience a challenge in realizing the full market potential of its newly developed IT-based price management system, Global Price Management (GPM). The system has already been implemented and is currently running with success within the IT-structures of the first customer. The fact that the development of the system has been initiated by a customer, and thereby has left Syncron oblivious of the real underlying drivers and incentives for the development, is part of the problem. Understanding the customers? incentives for developing their pricing process thus reducing the application uncertainty is a good starting point.

The aim of this study is to make clear the conception ?Sustainable Urban Development? through an investigation dealing with how the sustainable goals are attained in today?s Swedish urban planning. And also try to clarify where and why sustainable development is failing or lacking. Besides that I have investigated how actors take position towards urban sustainability. The essay is based on a literature study about sustainable urban development and it?s changes through the time and place.
