The investigation is focusing on the development of the organization of knowledge, of the catalogues, of the classification system and of the information retrieval. The thesis examines the factors which force the development of the activity at the library and of the organization of knowledge. This essay takes its starting point in the research on digital technology and theories on learning to apply the research on history teaching. The theories on learning from Illeris and Selander are used to find out how the digital technology should be used in upper secondary school, since there is no extensive research on how the new technology should be used in upper secondary school. From that point the essay?s primary goal is to investigate how teachers use digital technology, if they choose a particular study field while working with the technology. Syftet med studien är även att få ökad kunskap om vilka aspekter som påverkar den dagliga verksamheten inom området volym i förskoleklassen. Denna undersökning är baserad på intervjuer med sex förskolelärare, materialet har bearbetats och kategoriserats under fem stycken huvudrubriker som belyser olika aspekter av hur förskolelärarna uppfattar att de arbetar med området volym i förskoleklassen. Vi har valt att belysa denna undersökning ur ett sociokulturellt perspektiv. I vår analys har vi kommit fram till att det finns många olika aspekter som påverkar utformandet av verksamheten i förskoleklassen.

It seems like many churches don't know whythey exist, or at least they have a very vague understanding of the full meaning of the Church.Some 50 years ago, we had a new encounter in Sweden. Immigrants from Orthodoxcountries came to live here, and they brought their church and tradition with them.

The connection between rune stones and churches is a known phenomenon. Unfortunately, very little is known about the previous function of the church sites, and consequently very little is known about what the connection between rune stones and churches means. The purpose of this study is to examine the rune stones connected to churches in the administrative province of Jönköping, in an effort to ascertain their purpose, symbolism and function. The aim is to find out if the rune stones connected to churches were primarily or secondarily placed on the site where the church was later built, and why some rune stones were built into the churches. Further, the inscriptions and iconography of rune stones have been analysed, and also their relation to their immediate surroundings.

This paper aims to derive the Black-Scholes equation for readers without advanced knowledge in finance and mathematics. To succeed, this paper contains a theoretical chapter in which concepts such as options, interest rate, differential equations and stochastic variable are explained. This paper also presents the theory of stochastic processes such as the Wiener process and Ito process. In the chapter on the Black-Scholes model the Ito process is used to describe price of shares and with the help of Ito's lemma Black-Scholes equation can be derived. In the paper, assumptions are listed that apply to the Black-Scholes model and then uses the Black-Scholes equation to calculate the price of a European call option.

Individuals considered as tax residents in Sweden may if they are working abroad for six months alternatively one year be granted a tax exemption concerning the income originating from the work abroad. Short intermissions (kortare avbrott) are permitted without impact on the tax exemption, however this requires that the intermission is not placed in the beginning or in the end and that the stay in Sweden does not exceed 72 days a year. A time limit regarding intermissions in a third country is however not regulated. There-fore the Swedish tax agency (Skatteverket) has published a non binding standpoint which regulates the entire intermission allowed to a maximum of 96 days a year whereof 72 days may be spent in Sweden. The definition is more extensive than earlier and uncer-tainty occurs as to whether the extension contradicts the principle of legality.The purpose of the thesis is to investigate the value of the Swedish tax agency?s stand-point concerning short intermissions.

Elektroniska böcker är ett relativt nytt koncept som inte riktigt gjort några stora landvinningar, trots att ny teknik kommit och framsteg görs. Syftet med uppsatsen är att se vilka brister som finns i utlåningssystem för e-böckerna. Med hjälp av en kvalitativ undersökningsmetod tar vi en närmare titt på Malmö och Lunds stadsbiblioteks hemsidor. Intervjuer av bibliotekspersonal och användbarhetstest samt en teorigenomgång är basen för vår undersökning. Med hjälp av detta ville vi se vilka brister som fanns vid utlåning, ur ett användbarhetsperspektiv, och dra våra slutsatser utifrån de resultat vi fått.

During the period 1905 to 1940 it was possible to get a loan from the state to buy land and build a small farm or a house in rural areas. This loan act and its effects have been studied earlier in different ways, but never as a total study for a geographic region. The region Malmöhus Län has been chosen. The purpose of this paper is to study in which parts of the area loans were taken and who sold the land that was used for these purposes. Earlier studies have looked at a larger geographical area for some specific years.

The purpose of this study is to show the importance of task texts for students in grades 5 when solving mathematical problems. It was conducted in a class 5 (where the children are 11 years old). The pupils were assigned two different tests with mathematical problems; one where the problems were described in text and one where the problems were presented with numbers and mathematical signs. Previously done research, done on bilingual children, (Bernardo, 2002) shows that pupils tend to do better on mathematical tests when no text is presented. My research supports that theory even though the correlation is not that strong.

The main purpose of the examination research project is to analyze and describe how democracy and globalization is understood when they are integrated in the developing country of Kenya. This has been reflected by interviewing Kenyan teachers in history and government, to receive their view on globalization and its affects on democracy. Another purpose is to discuss this in didactic terms as a way to see how it can be practically used for upper-secondary schoolteachers in the subjects of civics and social studies.
