The purpose with this essay is to investigate Swedish political parties who have had or has a restrictive immigration policy containing opinions, that can be classified as xenophobic, and their history and development as a party. The focus in this essay is centred on the politicization that the parties Ny demokrati and Sverigedemokraterna have gone through and the mobilization they have reached. The material that will be handled in this matter are mainly the parties? political programs that have been published in various forms, but these will be supplemented with secondary sources in the form of previous research, reviews by journalists and other literature. The result have shown that the development from 1970 ? 1980´s to today considering these type of organizations is that they have changed in their appearance, in the matter of how they convey their message, and the actual appearance of the party members more than the message itself.

The swedish education system in general and the swedish gymnasium in particular is at the point of a thorough reform of the guidelines in education. One major difference given in the guidelines is that the former core subject of arts education is abandoned in favour of making history a mandatory class. This despite the curriculum outlined in 1994 remains. Through comparativ text analysis of the documents and reports outlining this reform and defining the curriculum as well as the guidelines for the education system this study aims to point out the reasons for this change. Through in depth interviews with teachers, educators and authorities in addition to readings of contemporary research on arts in education the study will depict a larger picture of the scheme of things.

Denna uppsats diskuterar utifrån paradigmbegreppet och Torben Grodals kognitiva filmteori huruvida naturvetenskapligt influerade empiriska metoder - exempelvis ögonrörelsestudier - är tillämpbara inom filmvetenskapen. The author describes a number of theories, then put them to use on a number of interviews where clients describe their present career situation to guidance counselor students. Grunden för denna uppsats utgörs av en kvalitativ, empirisk intervjustudie med fyra kvinnor i chefspositioner. De kommer från olika organisationer i olika kontexter. Syftet var att med utgångspunkt i vår tolkning av deras upplevelser analysera deras möjligheter till ledarskapsutveckling. Frågor vi ställde oss var; Hur berättar dessa kvinnor om sin egen ledarskapsutveckling? Hur ser de på hinder och möjligheter som har funnits för dem? Hur kan deras upplevelser tolkas och analyseras?Metoden som vi har använt för insamling, bearbetning och analys av empiri har varit av narrativ karaktär.

An absolute majority of all Swedish children begins to attend preschool at some point between the age of one and five. The acclimatisation to preschool means a great change in every small child's life. They leave all that is well known, the parent and their home, to face a whole new environment with new kids and adults to get to know and learn to trust.The purpose of this study has been to find out how the professionals in preschool reflect upon the child's acclimatisation at preschool. More specifically we wanted answers to how the preschool teachers, in their work with the child's acclimatisation, relates to the today, in preschool, much debated relationship between the two perspectives care and pedagogy.This qualitative study is based on ten interviews with preschool teachers at different preschools in a small town in Sweden. The analysis is based on a presentation of the interview material compared with earlier research and the theoretical aspects we have chosen, which are Bronfenbrenners Ecological Systems Theory and the Object Relations Theory.While working with this paper it has come clear to us that there is no explicit or common definition of the concept of care within preschool, while there is a clear definition of the concept of pedagogy.

Manliness in four Japanese samurai moviesThis thesis deals with the samurai and his portrayal in Japanese historic movies and what kind of messages he conveys in form of masculinity to theater audiences. Four movies were chosen, two from the 1960s and two from the 2010s. The reasoning behind this was to look at two eras of samurai movies and if possible try to see differences between them. The history of the samurai, being a man and woman in modern Japan, R.W Connell and famous Japanese authors from different time eras acted as tools to try to answer the questions in hand.

The current curriculum requires a well functioning school library and an active use of it. In junior school grades 1-3 the children primarily learn basic skills. Knowledge about libraries and how to use them and different media is part of these skills. Therefore my intention was to investigate how school libraries in junior schools look, how they are used in the training and how they could be used in junior school education. I focus on the pedagogic role of the school library and the library as information center.I begin by going through what the school law and the curriculum say - or do not say - about the use of the school library.

Title: Inspiration according to teachers and students at the Academy of Music in Malmö. The importance of inspiration is vital to teachers and students at the Academy of Music in Malmö, but what can we do to make it remain constant? The purpose of this study was to un-derstand the differences and similarities between teachers and students according to inspiration. The data was collected through qualitative interviews with three students and three teachers and went after that through a comprehensive analysis which resulted in four main categories: definitions, uninspiring factors, inspiration to creativity and the source of inspiration. The results showed that definitions are subjective but that lust is truly a significant part of learning and music performance.

I wanted to look at school-children's perspective of prehistory. I also wanted to look at the literature at their disposal, provided by the schools.In this essay I am looking at a school-class in the fourth grade from a school in Malmö and a fifth grade-class at a school in Klågerup just outside Malmö. I am trying to determine the student's view of what prehistory is all about, as well as how their own school-literature is connected to that knowledge. Six books in all were examined. The essay is concentrated on prehistory and only at those two schools.

Syftet med detta arbete har varit att undersöka hur Monroes idéer (Monroe, 1997) om en framgångsrik skola fungerar på en svensk skola. För att få reda på mer om framgångsrika skolor, har jag studerat aktuell forskning i ämnet. Jag har även besökt en skola i Sverige där man använder sig av denna skolmodell. Jag har valt att använda mig av kvalitativ forskning, där jag har använt intervjuer, samt observation för att samla in data. Bland resultaten kan nämnas att Monroes modell som innebär en stark ledare och tydligare regler ungerar bra på Hjällboskolan som jag har studerat närmare.

Globalisering är ett ord på allas läppar och i globaliseringens spår följer ett behov av globala ledare. En global ledare är en person som behärskar förmågan att hantera personal av olika nationaliteter, kulturer och team som befinner sig i olika världsdelar.Sony Ericsson, ett "joint venture" företag i mobiltelefonbranschen, tog kontakt med pedagogiska institutionen på Lunds Universitet för att få utomståendes syn på globalt ledarskap. Inom detta område har vi valt att fokusera på "knowledge sharing" av ledarskapsrelaterade frågor och hur detta kan leda till organisatoriskt lärande.Vår undersökning har utförts med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer av ledare på olika nivåer som alla har konfronterats med utmaningen att leda team i en global organisation.Alla har svårt för att finna den gemensamma värderingen för vad som krävs av globala ledare inom Sony Ericsson. De saknar ett verktyg för "knowledge sharing" av ledarskapsrelaterade frågor. Även HR avdelningen vill ha gemensamma värderingar när det gäller vad som krävs av globala ledare.

När organisationer tvingas förändras för att klara av kraven i omvärlden, ställs det ofta krav på att organisationsmedlemmarna ska förändra sitt arbetssätt eller tillägna sig nya kunskaper och förmågor. Det finns dock en risk för att hinder, av olika slag, hindrar medarbetarnas lärande från att nå upp till de önskade utfallen. Fokus för denna studie är ett produktionsföretag inom livsmedelsbranschen där målstyrning ska införas som ett nytt arbetssätt i en produktionsavdelning. Processen börjar med att produktionschefen under ett antal möten förmedlar grundläggande information till samordnarna, för att skapa ett fundament för deras kommande arbetssätt. Samordnarna förväntas sedan föra vidare sina kunskaper till de övriga anställda i produktionen.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att belysa hur medvetna musiklärare är om jämställdhetsperspektivet i sin undervisning, om det finns skillnader mellan manliga och kvinnliga lärare och hur lärarna ser på de budskap och värderingar de förmedlar i sin undervisning ur ett jämställdhetsperspektiv. Undersökningen genomfördes på en skola med hjälp av observationer och kvalitativa intervjuer av berörda lärare. De resultat jag kom fram till var att lärarna, en manlig och kvinnlig, i stort sett behandlade sina elever på ett jämställt sätt. Det förekom tendenser till upprätthållande av traditionella könsmönster, men i liten skala.
