Vi har, genom en kvalitativ intervjustudie, undersökt vad det är som styr när lärare planerar sin verksamhet i skolan. Vilket/vilka av styrdokumenten är viktigast för tolv lärare vid undervisningsplanering, läroplanen eller kursplanen och dess mål? Två högstadieskolor i två kommuner har undersökta. Som bakgrund ges en historisk inblick i tidigare system.Resultatet visar vissa olikheter mellan skolorna när det gäller gemensamma tolkningar av kursplanerna, men likheter i ämnesplaneringen. Vi har dragit slutsatsen att varje skola bör ha "sin egen" tolkning av styrdokumentens mål för att säkerställa undervisningens kvalitet..

This thesis is made on behalf of SCA's Forestry Division and is a comparison of two bucking simulation tools: Aptan (manufactured by Skogforsk) and Best/upr (from Berget Systemdesign). The data is based on 32 stands from SCA's forests in Norrbotten and Västerbotten. The objective is to compare the simulations created by the tools with the harvested volumes from those stands. Three variables are needed for the bucking simulation; these are the diameter distribution (at breast height), the relationship function between diameter and height, and the taper coefficients. The volumes of five different assortments from the stands are compared.

Softube has developed DSP-card and software for simulation of the sound of old tube amplifiers. The purpose with this thesis is to design a compact amplifier with high power to function together with the DSP-card and build a unit that can replace several other guitar amplifiers. The advantages with that kind of solution could be that it would be cheaper, easier to carry and easier to stor than the real amplifiers. The amplifier that has been designed is of class D type with digital PWM modulator. There is several types of amplifier modules on the market that use analog input signal, but if one of them would be used a D-A converter is needed on the DSP card.

This report evaluates whether normal approximation or resampling is to prefer for estimating the distribution of the sample mean and functions of the sample mean. The evaluation relies on simulation studies. The observations of the sample are allowed to be differently distributed. In the case of sample means they are also allowed to be dependent.For sample means the two approximations behaves very similar. The most important component whether we have a good or a bad approximation is how good the approximations catch the variance of the true distribution.

Syftet med arbetets undersökning har varit att få större förståelse för hur matriser fungerar som stödstruktur i skriftliga prov i historia. Jag har valt att undersöka om matriserna överhuvudtaget används av eleverna, om de fyller sin funktion och på vilket sätt de gör det. För att få svar på mina frågor har jag gjort en innehållsanalys av 80 elevsvar tillhörande 20 elever på fyra provuppgifter tagna ur nationella provet i historia 2013, där svar till uppgifter med matris jämförts med svar utan matris. Två av uppgifterna har mätt den källkritiska förmågan och de andra två har mätt förmågan att använda en historisk referensram. Samtidigt har en av uppgifterna inom varje kunskapsområde haft en matris som stödstruktur. Jag har kommit fram till att de elever som är vana vid att arbeta utifrån matriser verkar använda sig av dem i större utsträckning än andra i provsituationen.

Vidare avser studien att tolka hur och när dessa strategier används bäst. Uppsatsen har utgått från en liknande amerikansk studie där amerikanska NASDAQ QQQ optioner studeras.

Detta arbete syftar till att undersöka lärares förhållningssätt till användningen av olika texttyper i historieundervisningen. Vi ville ta reda på hur lärare arbetar med olika texttyper och vilka de anser bäst bidrar till historisk kunskap. Slutligen ville vi undersöka huruvida valet av texttyp kan påverka utvecklingen av elevers historiska empati. Arbetet utgår från tidigare forskning om historiedidaktik och litteraturdidaktik. Detta blandas med forskning om centrala definitioner av texttyper samt Dysthes tankar om det dialogiska klassrummet. För att besvara vår frågeställning användes till en början en kvantitativ forskningsansats genom en förstudie i form av ett frågeformulär. I denna kartlades elevernas syn på användandet av texttyper i undervisningen och visar att de föredrar gruppdiskussioner som arbetssätt vid arbete med olika texter.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka om läsning av historisk skönlitteratur kan leda till ett ökat elevengagemang för ämnet historia samt ett ökat källkritisk tänkande hos elever i ämnet. Studien motiveras av en upplevelse av att skolämnet historia i praktiken har onödigt snäva innehållsliga ramar, och av att många elever upplever ämnet som ett tråkigt ?pluggämne?. Ofta utgår historieundervisning från kronologiskt skrivna läroböcker fyllda av korrekta fakta, men nästan helt i avsaknad av kött, blod och ?vanliga människors? perspektiv och berättelser.

This report is a thesis work for a B.Sc. in Forestry at the School for Forest Engineers, SLU. The work was an assignment from Jarlträ AB which is a privately owned sawmill located in southern Småland. The aim of the work was to investigate the economical result of different pricelists and how to adjust different parameters such as length correction to give an optimal result. The pricelists was examined through a computer program (SilviA). The pricelists was made in the program and after that a simulation was preformed with a selection of random sampled trees gathered from the area nearby the sawmill.

Nowadays, a lot of resources are spent on developing systems that will make it possible forvehicles to act autonomously, and make them more effective. One of the projects that isworking on this is the Gulliver Project. Gulliver has constructed a number of miniaturevehicles equipped with various sensors, to use as a physical testbed for autonomousdriving. One big disadvantage with this method is the long iteration time that occursduring the development and testing of a new software.This project has improved this process by developing a system architecture of a virtualtestbed where it is possible to simulate autonomus vehicles that communicates throughany type of wireless network. The testbed has made it possible to simulate autonomusvehicle systems that with a reasonable margin of error, acts like the system would actin a physical test.

This master thesis has been done at Enea Epact AB. The purpose of this thesis is to develop and implement a Link Quality Control algorithm for GPRS/EPGRS in the current testing tool. A Link Quality Control (LQC) shall take quality values from mobile stations and base stations and decide a codingsscheme that opimizes the throughput of data. The Advantage with LQC is that it adapts the used coding scheme to the channel quality. If the channel quality is too bad for the used coding scheme, a slower coding scheme with more redundancy should be selected.
