SammanfattningHuvudsyftet med detta arbete är att få en inblick i hur två skilda förortsskolor med helt olika elevsammansättning i Malmö använder sig av närområdet (lokalhistoria) i historieundervisningen. Vilka olikheter finns mellan dessa två skolor? Vilka är skillnaderna och om det finns skillnader, vad beror detta i så fall på? Jag har även velat få kunskap om hur elevernas intresse för historia/lokalhistoria ser ut. Vilka för- och nackdelar det finns med att använda sig av lokalhistoria? Den ena skolan är belägen i Malmös södra del i stadsdelen Hyllie.

Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att ta reda på om skillnader finns i hur stora miljöhänsyn som tas vid offentliga upphandlingar i kommuner där en aktiv miljöstrategi finns integrerad i förvaltningarna än i kommuner där de inte integrerats.Jag har utfört en fallstudie på tre kommuner i Sverige där jag kvantitativt samt kvalitativt jämfört förfrågningsunderlag från tre typer av offentliga upphandlingar. Den kvantitativa undersökningen har utgått från Miljöstyrningsrådets och Vägverkets kriteriedokument som ger rekommendationer för hur miljökrav kan ställas vid offentliga upphandlingar.Utifrån tidigare teorier om hur institutioner över tid formar normer och värderingar samt påverkar individers handlingar har jag utformat tre hypoteser där slutsatsen kunde dras att en av hypoteserna stämde. Jag kom fram till att oavsett om kommunen hade integrerat en aktiv miljöstrategi eller inte syns inga större skillnader i hur stora miljöhänsyn som tas vid offentliga upphandlingar. .

This two year master thesis examines the Swedish prison library's history during cell prison era.The investigation extends from the mid-1800s well into the 1900s. The purpose is to investigate theprison library by using a power concepts influenced by Michel Foucault. The questions revolvearound the ideas that formed the basis for the prison library and how the prison library was organizedin practice. The aim of this study is to examine the historical information about women?s libraries and book ownership during the early modern period in the work of Carl Magnus Carlander, Svenska bibliotek och ex-libris [Swedish libraries and ex-libris] (1904) and to inquire the scientific value of the information. A gender perspective is applied to the study. The natural disasters of recent time have caused the people of Sweden to donate very large amounts of money to different fundraising organizations. With this in mind, we found it interesting to examine the extent of disclosure in the annual reports of the Swedish fundraising organizations. Thus, the purpose of this study is to identify which factors that influences the extent of disclosure of accounting principles in the annual reports of Swedish fundraising organizations. To fulfill this purpose we conducted a content analysis of 149 annual reports from Swedish fundraising organizations. To help us explain the levels of disclosure we applied stakeholder theory, institutional theory and legitimacy theory.

This study is an institutional analysis of the firm both as it is theoretically conceptualized and how it takes shape and changes. The role of power relations between manage¬ment and employees is especially examined with the aim of evaluating pos¬sible connections between the firm as an institution and power relations within it. Based on a comparison of two cases (two selected periods of the same organization) it asks ?How closely does each case match the conceptual characteristics of the firm??; ?What are the power relations between management and employees in each case??; and finally ?What factors account for the resulting differences??. It is found that there is a negative correlation between employee power and proximity to the firm as a concept.

This thesis handles the problems regarding different value aspects which are applied during restoration and renovation of churches. The curator?s aspects along with the interests regarding change that exists today, is often integrated and is therefore affecting the final results. Fisksätra has a historical background that goes back to the battle between Russia and Sweden that took place in 1719. This battle is known as "Slaget vid Stäket". Today there are plans to develop Fisksätra as a tourist destination where focus lays on the historic factor of the battlefield that took place there. As of this a project called the HAMN project has started to try to develop a new experience park at this destination unlike any other.The aim of this essay has been to study how much potential this experience park has to become a popular tourist destination in the future, while looking at the potential interest of the foreign tourists. The aim of this study is to investigate the situation in Romania concerning trafficking for sexual purposes. We look at what affect the European Union has had relating to this matter, in order to conclude what a membership implies on the fight against trafficking. A gender perspective is apparent throughout the essay and new institutionalism leads us to focus on the affect of the EU, both formally and informally. Questions to be answered revolves around the EU:s strategy against trafficking, recent trends and the implementation of the strategy in Romania, formally and informally. The study has the form of a case study and is conducted through a field study in Romania.

After the last election Sweden has got a government that claims to be feminist. This thesis discusses whether the change of labels has also brought along policy formulated in a feminist way, arguing that the way policy is expressed affects how people see a certain problem. Three policy proposals are analysed, and in only one case the government seems to have been influenced by feminist ideas. The other proposals partly support claims made by new institutionalism that norms and routines in an organisation work to resist policy change, but also shows that feminist ideas are resisted more actively. The fact that so called policy entrepreneurs was present in the policy process at a certain period in time, probably counts for one explanation to the exceptional policy.

Dagens litteratur som rör hälsofrämjande arbete strålar idag av en positiv aura. Vi har genomvår utbildning läst mycket litteratur inom detta ämne och ställde oss till sist undrande om hälsofrämjande arbete verkligen är så bra som litteraturen beskriver. Vi var av uppfattningen att organisationer inte alltid inför hälsofrämjande arbete med, (eller enbart med) lönsamhets- eller hälsomotiv, vilket är det intrycket vi har fått från litteraturen angående hälsofrämjande arbete. Därför valde vi att vår kandidatuppsats skulle handla om motiven bakom hälsofrämjande arbete, eftersom vi ville ha en mer nyanserad bild som ser mer kritiskt på vinsterna och motiven bakom hälsofrämjande arbete. Syftet med uppsatsen är att genom ett kritisk synsätt få en djupare förståelse för hälsofrämjande arbete, bortom den förskönade bilden som visas i litteratur och media. Vi vill på detta vis undersöka vilka motiven bakom organisationers införande av hälsofrämjande arbete är och om eller hur motiven påverkar effekterna av hälsofrämjande arbete. Vi har gjort detta genom en enkätundersökning samt litteratur kring hälsofrämjande arbete och institutionell teori.
