Denna uppsats undersöker hur genusperspektivet synliggörs i historieläroböcker för grundskolans senare år. Syftet med undersökningen är att ta reda på hur läroböckerna redogör för makstrukturerna mellan män och kvinnor och undersöka möjligheterna för hur en förståelse av det temporala sambandet (då, nu, sedan) kan utvecklas hos läsaren d v s en utvecklingsprocess av historiemedvetande. Undersökningen är uppbyggd kring teorier om historiemedvetande och genus av historikern Niklas Ammert (historiemedvetande) och genusforskaren Yvonne Hirdman (genus). Undersökningen visar att maktstrukturerna mellan könen redogörs i delar av texterna, men att det saknas en röd tråd i textbeskrivningarna som helhet. Förståelsen för det temporala sambandet underlättas bara i enstaka delar av lärobokstexterna då faktorer från Niklas Ammerts kategorier för historiemedvetandet läroprocesser synliggörs.

The overall aim of this thesis is to examine the production and repetitiveness of gender patterns with focus on girls in the swedish tween magazine Kamratposten. This is of importance due to the non existing research on Kamratposten concerning this specific topic. The aim is also to evoke a broader discussion about the relationsship between gender representation and pedagody. The theoretical framework is based on three concepts, namly Yvonne Hirdman?s gender contract, Judith Butler?s performativity and the idea of heteronormativity.

This essay focuses on how women and the woman emancipation are described in high school history textbooks from the years 1970, 1980, 1990 and 2000, using the theories history consciousness and gender. Two textbooks are analyzed from each period. There are several gender theories, in this essay it is Yvonne Hirdman?s theory concerning woman- and gender history that is used. I denna uppsats undersöks huruvida en sexualisering av det svenska samhället har skett de senaste tjugo åren. Med avstamp i tidningen Vecko Revyns frågespalter om sex och samlevnad från åren 1987 och 2010 genomförs en fallstudie. I frågespalterna undersöks frågorna och svaren grundligt, efter ett tematiskt upplägg tas mönster och tendenser fram som kan hjälpa till att besvara den aktuella frågeställningen samt verifiera eller falsifiera den hypotes som också presenteras. This study is set out to examine if there is any kind of influence between the EU and Swedish gender policy. More specific the Swedish efforts within the gender policy area, especially in the area of social policy and employment, during the Swedish presidency in the Council of Ministers 2001. And also to examine the impact of Europeanization in Swedish gender policy. We have decided to delimit our study to care of elderly and children when it comes to the area of social policy. We are using a descriptive, examining qualitative method.

This essay focuses on men?s construction of feminism and gender and views on equality between the sexes. The purpose of the essay is met through interviews with eight men on their thoughts and constructions of these issues. The answers from the interviewed men were analysed with a radical feminist and gender perspective approach. The purpose of this study was to examine gender depiction in picture books in preschools. Our experience is that many picture books contain old-fashioned gender stereotypes. During the analysing process, we used the following theories: Yvonne Hirdman?s theory about the stereotypic gender contract and Lev Vygotskij?s theory about experiences increasing our ability to fantasize. We read through 154 picture books in two preschools and categorized them into two categories: normative and non-normative books.

Denna studie över medeltida mirakelberättelser har som mål att undersöka familjerelationer under medeltiden genom att studera arbetsfördelning, relationen till barnen och mellan makarna. Syftet är att bidra till tidigare forskning om medeltidens kvinnor, män och barn. Detta genomförs med hjälp av en kvalitativ hermeneutisk metod där förståelsen för periodens politiska, sociala och kulturella föreställningar är centralt. Källmaterial är medeltida mirakelberättelser där detaljer och information utöver det centrala för miraklet utgör huvuddelen av undersökningsmaterialet. Som kompletterande litteratur har bland annat Nina Sjöberg, Ronny Ambjörnsson, Yvonne Hirdman, Janken Myrdal, och Colin Heywood varit centrala.

While sexuality was given a large space in the girls' judgments, it was barely mentioned in the boys'. AbstractThe author Selma Lagerlöf was born in 1858 at Mårbacka, in Värmland and died in 1940. Fifty years after Selma´s death were her correspondence released and ten thousand of letters were found in the collection. But it was just the correspondence between Selma and Sofie Elkan who interested people because they wanted to know if Selma and Sofie have had a sexual relationship. Later, in time for Christmas 2008 the Swedish Television shows a film about Selma. "Selma Lagerlöf Society" was critical to the movie and thougt that the movie focused too much on Selma`s sexual orientation.

The study examines conceptions of identity among girls with foreign background. The aim was to study how identity is understood by the girls based on ethnicity, images of the origin, the value of gender and the meaning of the family. The theoretical approach was post-colonial theory based on Stuart Hall in combination with gender theory by Yvonne Hirdman. The study was conducted using qualitative individual interviews of open character with six girls. They were aged 17-18 years old and were born in Sweden or had lived here since the age of six.

Syftet med denna studie är att få en inblick i verksamma lärares föreställningar och förhållningsätt kring genus. Samt skolans syn på begreppet och vilka faktorer som påverkar arbetet kring genus. Vår huvudfrågeställning är: ? Vilka föreställningar har lärarna kring genus och hur förhåller sig de till detta? Våra underfrågor är: ? Vilka svårigheter anser lärare att det finns för att arbeta genusmedvetet? ? Vilket stöd ges åt genuspedagogik i skolan för läraren? Vi har utgått från Hirdmans och Butlers teorier kring genus. Tidigare forskning visar att lärare anser att genus är ett komplext och komplicerat begrepp. De anser att tidsbrist och saknaden av didaktiska övningar som negativa faktorer. Kvalitativa intervjuer och observation har gjorts med sex lärare i grundskolans tidigare år. Resultatet i studien visar att lärarna arbetar väldigt hårt med att behandla alla lika, men det saknas kunskap kring genus som perspektiv.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine how the gender system is described in fantasy novels. The theoretical framework is based on Yvonne Hirdman?s theory on gender system, primarily the two basic principles: the principle of dichotomy, of separation between the sexes, and the principle of hierarchy, of man as norm. The method used is idea analysis which is a form of textual analysis.
