Idag exponeras varje person för upp till flera tusen annonsbudskap per dag. Annonseringen på Internet ökar och människor översköljs med färgglada, blinkande annonser så fort de går in på Internet ? men forskning har visat att många av annonserna helt ignoreras. Författarna till denna studie hade för avsikt att studera den bakomliggande psykologiska processen som förklarar varför vissa annonser på Internet uppmärksammas medan andra helt ignoreras, samt studera faktorer som påverkar denna process. Genom litteraturstudier, observationer och intervjuer har författarna förstått att det finns två kognitiva uppmärksamhetsprocesser: den exogena/stimulansdrivna processen som härrör från den varseblivande processen och den endogena/målstyrda processen som härrör från en samverkan mellan läsbeteendet på Internet och hjärnans minnessystem.

Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer which struck women around the world. When a human is exposed to threat or stress, e.g. breast cancer, different coping strategies are used in order to cope with the situation by the afflicted person. The aim of this literature study was to describe how women, who suffered from breast cancer, experienced coping with their situation. Scientific articles were found in the databases Medline (Pub Med) and Cinahl.

Bakgrund: Personer med demenssjukom får ofta i sjukdomsförloppet problem att äta och insatser för att behålla personens nutritionsstatus kan bli aktuella. En vanlig sådan insats som diskuteras är enteral nutriton i någon form. Då en person med demenssjukdom tappar sin förmåga att kommunicera och även den kognitiva förmågan att ta egna beslut ställs sjuksköterskor inför en svår arbetsuppgift. Att ta ställning till om det är etiskt riktigt att starta enteral nutrition eller om det är etiskt riktigt att acceptera matvägran är en av de svåraste dilemman en sjuksköterska kan ställas inför. Syfte: Att beskriva sjuksköterskans möjligheter att bevara autonomi hos personer med demenssjuksom vid enteral nutrition.

Background: Folate is a water - soluble vitamin necessary for normal DNA synthesis among  other mechanisms. Folate deficiency can cause megaloblastic anemia resulting from abnormal erythrocyte d evelopment. At the Department of Clinical Chemistry, Linköping, analysis of folate is performed with Siemens ADVIA Centaur® XP which uses an immunochemical method with chemiluminimetric detection. Currently, the assay is conducted on serum, is poured off and frozen after 48 h and treated with light protection because folate is considered to be light sensitive.Methods: This study tested lithium heparin plasma for analysis of folate with Siemens ADVIA Centaur® XP with the aim to be able to perform a package of analyzes in anemia investigation from the same collection tube. Furthermore, the stability of folate was studied for up to 168 h and examined regarding light sensitivity.Results: Statistically significant higher values were obtained in the analysis of folate in lithium heparin plasma than folate in serum (p < 0,001).

För en person i kronisk sjukdom präglas livet av flera förändringar. På många sätt innebar kronisk sjukdom ett livslångt tillstånd med psykiska och fysiska hinder för personen. Det är inte alltid kronisk sjukdom syns från utsidan, detta innebar ofta att personerna blev bemötta med lite förståelse från omvärlden. Ensamhet var något som tydligt förekom hos dessa personer. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva upplevelsen av ensamhet vid kronisk sjukdom.

The objective of the master thesis is to analyze how future business administrators relate to discriminatory structures during their period of studies. Eight students studying business administration have been interviewed. The empirical material is analyzed with theories from the field of research of Critical Whiteness Studies and Feminist Organization Theory. The theories are chosen from a Situated Knowledge perspective. It turns out that the interviewed students have a conception of an ideal student who studies business administration.

The means which is used is an authorisation and accreditation process.All Information Technology systems go through a life cycle which includes realisation, usage, development and liquidation. In the Swedish Armed Forces the lifecycle is an authorisation process.

Idag är det allt viktigare att en kommun har en väl fungerande rekryteringsprocess. Det har utvecklats ett mer strategiskt tänk med väl utarbetade planer för hur rekryteringen skall gå till. Detta för att kunna säkerställa att rätt person anställs till rätt plats då en felrekrytering kan orsaka lidande både för personen och organisationen.Syftet med detta examensarbete är att beskriva och analysera hur Luleå kommun arbetar med rekrytering samt få en distinkt uppfattning om hur deras utarbetade arbetsprocess för rekrytering har tillämpats på förvaltningarna.Datainsamlingen till denna uppsats har skett via nio semistrukturerade intervjuer som skett med personer anställda på kommunen med någon form av tjänst som innefattar personalarbete samt att de har insyn i förvaltningens rekryteringsarbete. Som hjälp till att förstå organisationsformer och arbete inom personalarbete har teorier inom bland annat New Public Management, Max Webers byråkrati samt Elton Mayos Human Relationsskola studerats och har även varit till hjälp vid tolkning av resultatet.Resultatet visade att Luleå kommuns upprättande av riktlinjer för rekryteringsarbetet har varit välfungerande även om det finns förbättringsområden som skulle kunna förstärka deras rekryteringsprocess ytterligare. Förvaltningarna anställer till största del rätt person till rätt plats och arbetar utifrån de centralt utgivna riktlinjer som finns..

BackgroundThe lifeworld describes the experience of being a humanbeing, how we experience life and how we live our lifes. When a disease, such as depression occurs, the whole lifeworld can be filled with suffering. Depression is an affective disease, which means it involves the emotions. The patient gets dejected and the emotional devotion abates. Broken sleep, anxiety, pain, concentrations difficulties, fatigue and reduced appetite is some of the symptoms.

The purpose of this thesis is to explore how love relationship affects the identity and attitude towards school of study motivated girls in 17-18 years of age with the subsidiary purpose to get anidea of how the gender order is maintained in the relationship.The study is based on theories of gender theory and identity theory, which concerns gender as aresult of actions and how the gender order is maintained. The identity theory is based as a choice toconvey different roles.The study is founded on qualitative research interviews with six different girls, where the focus wasto learn about their own experiences of how the love relationship affects them.The results were interpreted through a hermeneutic analysis.The results show that the love relationship affect informants' identity on self-perception, what roles they convey and the attitude towards school. It turned out that the informants' attitude towards school was dependent on their boyfriend´s attitude towards school.The results also show that girls are highly involved in the process of maintaining the gender order in which they choose to manage their time according to their boyfriend's time, and has the role of the engaging and emotional in the relationship..

Our purpose is to display the meaning of fan clubs and further reveal the potential value of fans. This study has an abductive approach with a qualitative data collection, where empirical material has been collected through a micro netnographic study along with qualitative interviews. IKEA and IKEA Family have been applied together with virtual fan clubs to study the fan club phenomenon. The study is based on prior literature concerning loyalty, customer clubs and brand relations. This theoretical framework was chosen to fulfil the purpose of unveiling the meaning of fan clubs and the potential value of fans.

The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the retrieval effectiveness on the European Unions official website EUROPA, depending on which language is used to formulate the search question. Our main concern were if you get access to the same information depending on which language is used to search information The European Union has so far eleven official languages, and with the forthcoming expansion with negotiations with thirteen new countries to affiliate to the union by May 1:st 2004, the official languages will be even more. We have made a comparison between Swedish and English, using 29 different topics from which we formulated 2x29 queries. The topics used were found at the Swedish Governments FAQ about the European Union, EUsvar. We wanted the topics to be as authentic as possible to avoid bias.

Sweden has a growing proportion of children living in a multilingual environment. It is thus highly important that caretakers as well as professionals who meet these children have knowledge of multilingualism and its impact on language development. Also, an increase of referrals of multilingual children with suspected language impairment to speech and language pathology clinics is seen.The objective of this study was to investigate the linguistic ability in both Swedish and Arabic in a four year old child with suspected language impairment. A further aim was to implement an intensive intervention and evaluate the efficacy of it. Language testing in both languages showed that the boy?s greatest need was in the lexical domain.

Influenza is a viral infection that affects global health and economy with its endemic and sometimes pandemic spread. Rapid detection of Influenza viruses enables antiviral use and can bring financial savings. It is also essential for the global surveillance of prevalent Influenza strains. RT-PCR is considered the most specific and sensitive method for detection of Influenza, but Influenza mutates at a high rate and it is therefore crucial that RT-PCR methods are updated regularly.In 2014, Cepheid released their Xpert Flu/RSV XC assay, which can detect Influenza A and B and RSV by multiplex RT-PCR in approximately one hour. The aim of this study was to evaluate this assay at Laboratoriemedicin Västernorrland by using the laboratory?s previous PCR assay for detection of Influenza viruses as reference method.Real-time RT-PCR was used to compare Xpert Flu/RSV XC to the reference method.
