Befolkningen blir allt äldre och fler och fler väljer att stanna i hemmet så länge det är möjligt. För att detta ska vara möjligt behöver äldre personer ofta hjälp av närstående. Denna litteraturstudie syftade till att beskriva närståendes upplevelse av att vara avlastad när de vårdar en skör äldre person i hemmet. I denna litteraturstudie beskrevs upplevelsen när den äldre personen var inskriven på institution eller på dagcenter. En litteratursökning gjordes i flera databaser och 21 kvalitativa artiklar valdes ut och kvalitetsgranskades.

The world is getting smaller. Global markets, political processes and communication technology bring people together. Even though many of these processes are dynamic and constructive, they have also resulted in a need for better and more effective ways of international conflict resolution. This thesis investigates central issues connected to the concept of humanitarian interventions in relation to current and future legislation of the European Union. The overall question is whether the rapid globalization process has resulted in a change of international law towards more liberal view where authorization of the security council is not always needed? And, if there has actually been such a liberalization, how does that affect the legal possibilities for the European Union to carry out armed operations without the consent of the global community?The conclusion of the thesis is that international law has been modified mainly in two aspects: First, the concept of sovereignty is no longer seen merely as a right of the nation, but also as a responsibility.

Problems can arise from cultural differences in connection with that persons face in society and in international collaboration. In this study, I assume theoretical framework that exists in cultural and communication theme and professionalism to find common objectives within educated groups.Method: The purpose of this study, I have chosen to use a qualitative approach.

Marine heatwaves (MHW) have become increasingly common in recent decades due to greenhouse gas emissions that have caused climate change. A marine heatwave is when the sea surface temperature rises, which damage many different ecosystems in the sea. One ecosystem that is sensitive to temperature changes is tropical coral reefs, which are at risk of bleaching during marine heatwaves. Coral bleaching is when its symbionts leave the coral and they lose their color, while also starving to death as they lose their food source. The purpose of this report was therefore to investigate what the connection between marine heatwaves and coral bleaching looks like, and to see if there are any geographical differences.

This essay is divided in several different parts, but all are tied up together by a fact that we want to increase productivity. We hope to do that by programming the PLC and to reach this with a better security for the person how are going to handle the cutting machine under it?s cutting process. We should as well look for some other ways to come up with better instructions and way to work and handle yourself during work. This programming is done in GRAPH7.

This paper aims to broaden the discussion on how press freedom can be a powerful tool in the war on corruption. Previous studies have shown a significant relationship between more press freedom and less corruption, it also shows that the causal link runs from press freedom to corruption and not the other way around. There are quite a few studies on the impact of a free press on corruption and therefore there is a lot more to be published on this issue.This paper looks at press freedom as one of the most important parts of a democratic society and that it plays a vital role in reducing corruption as both an informant on key issues and also as a ?watchdog? on society. But press freedom cannot be seen as an ?easy fix? in a country or the international community's struggle to reduce corruption.

Nathan Söderblom var ett levande band mellan Europas folkkyrkor, en andes budbärare, som blev hörd och förstådd överallt och genom vilken människor från skilda världar lättade upp sitt hjärta för varandra. Hans stora tanke: fred och samförstånd svarade mot den längtan, som växt sig så stark i efterkrigsårens splittrade värld, och dock förefaller det omöjligt att avgöra, om det var hans idéer, som fäste världens uppmärksamhet på hans person, eller om det inte snarare var den gåtfulla makten hos denna märkliga personlighet, som förde den ekumeniska tanken till seger. Han vann snart nog en erkänd ställning som en av protestantismens ledande personligheter, och hans namn blev till sist ett av de få stora som världen känner.Eftersom hans starka personlighet ligger i grund för hans ekumeniska verksamhet, säger jag några ord om Söderblom som person. Det som lockade mest var hans enkelhet. Han hörde inte till dem som blir uppblåsta av sina värdigheter.

Mycket har hänt runt lagstiftningen kring våldtäkt sedan den infördes i Sverige på 1200-talet. Då var våldtäkt ett egendomsbrott, ett brott mot mannen. Idag är våldtäkt ett brott mot kvinnan och över hennes rättigheter att bestämma över sin egen sexualitet. År 2003 anmäldes cirka 2560 våldtäkter men endast 12 procent av de våldtäkter som skedde inomhus ledde till åtal. Syftet med detta arbete är att jämföra den nuvarande lagstiftningen med det nya lagförslaget som är tänkt att börja gälla från den första april 2005.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how municipal archivists/records managers seek and use information in their daily worklife. Two mayor questions were addressed:1. What information resources and information channels do the respondents use in their daily worklife and which functions do these fulfil?2. How do the respondents experience their information seeking in relation to the work role and the tasks in the municipal organisation?A qualitative method with interviews was used.

Here is presented the result and discussion of a survey concerning the psychosocial environment in a school in the vicinity of Stockholm. The theoretical background of this study was the model of demand-control by Theorell, and various aspects of stress by Frankenhauser and Ödman. The survey was constituted of an inquiry form which was handed out to six different classes at the school. A total of 86 students filled in the form, and their answers were treated with standard statistical procedures to reveal the results. The inquiry form was made up by five parts; one that concerned the background of the respondent, one that reflected the psychosocial health and stress level and three parts that concerned discrimination, victimization and school democracy.

Denna person kallas för "hare" vars huvuduppgift är att se till att ett visst tempo hålls under loppet. Men vad har detta fenomen för effekt på idrottens värde? Detta arbete ger en beskrivning av fenomenet "haren" både ur historiskt perspektiv samt hur det ser ut i nutida läge. Genom diverse teorier om vad som skapar värde inom idrott och hur idrott bör utföras för att uppfattas som mer "äkta" har fenomenet sedan analyserats för att bestämma om fenomenet är något positivt eller negativt för idrottens värde.

The continuous process of urbanization results in demands on research and development for ecological and sustainable city development. Because of this, the current systems for wastewater treatment may have to be improved. In order to evaluate new technologies for municipal wastewater treatment, a development project has been initiated for the new district Hammarby Sjöstad in Stockholm. The project is lead by the company Stockholm Water. High environmental standards have been put up for the district, as it must be twice as good as an ordinary new district.

The Anglo-Saxon trust is not a new phenomenon, but existed as early as in the Middle Ages. The concept is customary among common-law countries, such as England the US,but unfamiliar to civil-law countries like Sweden. The person who creates the trust is called a settlor, the one who holds and administer the property is a trustee and the person who benefits from the settlement is called a beneficiary.In Sweden there is no legislation of how the trust ought to be assessed, but the need to understand it has probably increased with the internationalization.The Swedish Supreme Administrative Court has had a few opportunities to elucidate some of the uncertainties regarding trusts, but chose to abstain. With this The Swedish Tax Panel has very limited guidance from the court when they receive an application of an advance notice.A trust is not a legal entity nor a tax subject. This differs the trust from a foundation and they can not be placed on an equality from a Swedish tax perspective.In an advance notice, 2010-03-23 (dnr 103-09/D) om Inkomstskatt: Inkomst av tjänst ? värdepappersförmån, the Swedish Tax Panel equalizes the trust property with shares when determining how to tax the assets.

The aim of this study has been to investigate how the death of a close relative is described in pictures and texts through the eyes of a child character in three picture books. The analysis has also considered how the child character copes with the tragedy and how he or she finds support in the grief process. The books analysed here are Resan till Ugri-La-Brek (1987), Farväl, Rune (1986), and Jättebra Olga! (2010). Since these are works of fiction, this study does not assume that they are an accurate reflection of reality, but the way the child characters act and cope with their grief has been compared with the findings of empirical research on how children react in real situations.The material has been examined by means of a qualitative literary analysis comparing the books according to the research questions. The study finds that the child characters receive evasive explanations from people around them concerning what death means, for instance that the person is sleeping.

With the advance in computer and network technologies, multimedia systems and Internet applications are becoming more popular. As broadband network is prevailing, more clients are able to watch streaming videos or to play multimedia data over the Internet in real-time. Consequently, there is an increasing demand in the Internet for streaming video systems. As the run-time environment of such applications tends to be dynamic, it is imperative to handle transient overloads effectively. The goal of this work is to develop an algorithm that would provide a robust and controlled behavior of the video system so that important data is delivered on time to the video clients.
