Purpose: The objective of this study is to illustrate how participants in leaderless based projects communicate with each other. Several studies have focused on technology-supported projects, such as open source projects, with an established project manager and goal. There is a lack, to the best of our knowledge, in studies that deal with the communication pattern in a leaderless computer supported collaborative project.Method: We have chosen to use a quantitative method where we systematically group several messages according to their content. This method was used in a similar study to illustrate the communication between participants involved in an open source project. We have taken the same Kripendorff based method and adapted it to our study by adding more descriptive variables.Theoretical perspectives: Manuel Castell discusses the aspects of a new communication power that is rooted in the individual as part of a larger creative audience.

Den nya lÀroplanen för grundskolan 2011 uppmanar alla lÀrare i den svenska skolan att stÀrka ett entreprenöriellt förhÄllningssÀtt hos eleverna. Enligt regeringens Strategi för entreprenörskap inom utbildningsomrÄdet ska entreprenörskap löpa som en röd trÄd genom hela skolan. Medan en del forskning Àr gjord pÄ gymnasienivÄ och utifrÄn ett elevperspektiv sÄ finns det dock i dagslÀget relativt fÄ undersökningar angÄende grundskolan och lÀrarnas perspektiv. FörutsÀttningarna för införandet av entreprenöriellt lÀrande Àr oklara. En viktig förutsÀttning Àr dock att lÀrarna Àr bekanta med begrepp som entreprenörskap och entreprenöriellt lÀrande.

Ungdomarna idag tillhör en generation som kallas för Generation Y och de sÀrskiljer sig frÄn tidigare generationer med ett antal karaktÀristiska drag. Dock, Àr det inte endast dessa drag som kan urskiljas utan Àven ett annorlunda riskbeteende gentemot tidigare generationer. Experter Àr eniga om att det finns ett flertal faktorer som pÄverkar individers riskbenÀgenhet och att faktorerna varierar beroende pÄ individens Älder. Detta leder oftast till att nÀr Àmnet undersöks, riktar forskarna in sig pÄ en viss Äldersgrupp eller generation. Det begrÀnsat med forskning som specifikt tar upp Generation Y och riskbenÀgenhet. DÀrav Àr syftet med denna forskning att undersöka hur utvalda demografiska faktorer pÄverkar riskbenÀgenheten hos studenter ur Generation Y. Uppsatsen antog en positivistisk forskningsfilosofi med ett beskrivande syfte.

Syftet med denna studie Àr att göra en metaanalys kring anvÀndningen av utvÀrderingen Aktiveringspolitikens Janusansikte. UtvÀrderingen har genomförts i fyra stadsdelar i Malmö inom ramen för storstadssatsningen.Fokus har legat pÄ att undersöka om resultatet av utvÀrderingen Aktiveringspolitikens Janusansikte har anvÀnts i de utvÀrderade verksamheterna, samt vilka faktorer som pÄverkar anvÀndande eller icke-anvÀndande av utvÀrderingar.För att analysera vilken typ av anvÀndning som har förekommit har Carol H Weiss modell för anvÀndning av utvÀrderingsresultat anvÀnds. Denna har kombinerats tre förklaringsfaktorer för att försöka förstÄ varför det sker eller varför det inte sker nÄgon anvÀndning av utvÀrderingsresultat. Dessa faktorer Àr den personliga faktorn, den kontextuella faktorn och utvÀrderingsfaktorn.Undersökningen visar att anvÀndningen av Aktiveringspolitikens Janusansikte inte varit sÄ utbredd i de undersökta stadsdelarna. DÀremot framkommer det en generellt positiv instÀllning till utvÀrderingar.

This is a study based on discourse theory in purpose to examine the border-politics ofthe EU. Since the EU step by step has developed into an area of free movement on capital, people and services, the external frontiers have been given prioritiy on the political scene. Development in recent years have put questions of foreign- and security politics on a supranational level, meaning that the EU-member states in a wider range now cooperate in these political areas.To handle the increasing ammount of (illegal) migration to the EU an independet agency, Frontex,was established 2005 in favour of coordinating the Member States in issues regarding bordersecurity. The focal point of this study is to critically examine the identity of Frontex by using Becks theory of risk combined with the theory of governmentality. By doing so I seek to highlight the relation between Frontex and the EU and also that of Frontex mission in relation to illegal immigration.

Strategic development is something that concerns all companies, regardless of which industry they?re in. There is extensive research on this topic but one can question if the same theory also applies to E-businesses. Using case studies, this paper looks at strategic development in E-businesses and tries to answer whether strategic development in internet based companies is unique or if existing theory can still be applied. The predominant approach is to look into if E-businesses, due to a turbulent environment, rely less on market research and focus more on internal resources than would be expected by companies in more stable environments.

To study this change two hypotheses have been constructed. The first hypothesis concerns the change within Sverigedemokraterna and the second hypothesis concerns the change of the Swedish voters attitudes.Kirchheimers catch-all theory is used to explain the change in Sverigedemokraterna. The catch-all theory states that parties have to change their structure to maximise the number of votes.

This Master's thesis concerns the professional knowledge of the librarian. The image of this knowledge is regarded as constructed in a social context, which is why the discourse analytic approach is selected as method. The empirical material consists of two texts concerning the education of librarians. A theory of knowledge, emanating from Aristotle, is applied to the results to find examples of the forms of knowledge that are excluded from the discourse. A number of themes, or ways, in which it is possible to discuss the phenomenon of the librarian's knowledge, are identified in the texts.

Introduction: We are facing an aging population, which means that the incidence of age related diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease, are expected to increase. In the current situation there is no cure for the disease, whereupon it is important to develop preventive strategies. Objective: To examine the association between Alzheimer's disease and physical activity. Method: A systematic literature search was done to identify the current state of knowledge from the year 2006 onwards. The reason for this limitation was that the SBU commissioned a systematic literature review in 2006, where the relationship between physical activity and Alzheimer's disease could not be determined.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka inre arbetsmotivation och arbetstillfredsstÀllelse genom att se vilket motivationsbehov och vilken typ av arbetstillfredsstÀllelse som skattades högst. Syftet var Àven att undersöka vilka motivationsbehov som bÀst predicerar inre och yttre arbetstillfredsstÀllelse. Studien genomfördes inom Àldreomsorgenen i en mindre kommun i Sverige. 80 personer deltog i studien som genomfördes som en enkÀtundersökning. MÀtinstrumenten som anvÀndes var Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ) och Basic Need of Satisfaction at work Scale (BNS).

This paper is grounded in the previous research that indicated that involuntary childless women feels stigmatized and outside society. The purpose of this paper was to find out how the feeling of being an outsider and a stigmatized person is created and takes form in the category involuntary childless women. I asked the questions; -In what parts of the interviewed women?s answers indicates that they are outsiders and stigmatized? ?Who is creating the stigma and the outsiderness and how is it created? I answered these questions by interviewing six women in the ages of 28-40, who all had undergone In vitro fertilization-treatment and lived in heterosexual relationships. I used Erving Goffmans theory about stigma and Howard Beckers theory about outsiders to analyse the empiric data.

To answer that, I have done a case study about how Karlstad municipal administers citizens? proposals. The research assignment is: Does Karlstad municipal have adequate institutional conditions to make the best use of the citizens? proposals? The perspective is a democracy perspective and the theory is institutional theory and policy process theory.A selection of citizens? proposals that have arrived to Karlstad municipal between 2008 and 2010 have been studied in detail to analyze how the proposals have been administered and if it matters how the proposals are phrased.

The purpose of this thesis was to examine why so many CRM-projects didn`t reach the expected goals that companies management envisaged. The purpose was divided into two research questions. ? How should companies? management design the strategic projection of the CRM implementation? ? How will employees? attitude to changes influence the result of the CRM implementation? The case company was a Swedish technical consulting company: interviews were conducted with two represents from two different departments. The findings of the study were that management often strongly believes that software will sort out most of the upcoming problems and forget the factor that education of employees is at least equal important.
