Abstract   Cinematic time is the most complex of all: it is composed of public time (clock), personal time (experienced) and in addition, it can run backwards, be contingent, stored and (re)created. The present study examines some aspects of cinematic time, with special reference to the instant, the moment and the present. The strictly defined instant or moment does not exist. It is a passage between the past and the future and it is impossible to record on film or a photograph. One example is the moment of death, which is an abstraction with zero duration.

Different educational and professional backgrounds play important roles in how school librarians prioritize activities in the school library. Whether the school librarian has a background as a teacher or as a librarian, they influence and apprehend the activities of the school library differently. The aim of this thesis is to find out how the school librarian looks at his/her commission. What shifts in priorities can be recognized depending on whether the librarian has training as a teacher or a librarian. This thesis also analyzes how the two different professional backgrounds justify their priorities in the school library.

What is the Church? This question has been asked in many times and places. In Sweden, it seems asif there's a general identity crisis among the churches. It seems like many churches don't know whythey exist, or at least they have a very vague understanding of the full meaning of the Church.Some 50 years ago, we had a new encounter in Sweden. Immigrants from Orthodoxcountries came to live here, and they brought their church and tradition with them.

I förskolan finns det två yrkeskategorier, barnskötare och förskollärare. Förskolan har blivit en egen skolform som fått egen läroplan som reviderats och fått tydligare riktlinjer för förskollärare och arbetslag. Som en följd av detta har kraven på personalen höjts. Med utgångspunkt i begreppen identitet och kompetens samt i identitetsteorier vill vi försöka närma oss en förståelse för hur de båda yrkeskategorierna ser på sin egen och varandras yrkesroll och kompetens. Vi undrar också hur de tänker kring förskolans framtid, kommer det fortsatt att finnas två yrkeskategorier i förskolan? För att få syn på detta har vi gjort en kvalitativ studie och för att samla in vår empiri valde vi att göra halvstrukturerade intervjuer.

Malmö has often been described as a segregated city, with relatively low democratic participation and high poverty and alienation. Behind this kind of statements we often find a material reality, with unequal distribution of assets and potentials that needs to be taken into consideration for political action. At the same time this categorisation of people into different groups can take stigmatising effects and result in increased inequality.I find the theoretical basis for my thesis in Lefebvre?s writings on ?the right to the city?, that shortly means that all inhabitants of a city have the right to take active part in the constantly ongoing process of producing and reproducing the city ? on all levels, from a hands-on everyday life level to a more abstract political level.With an interdisciplinary approach, where the right to the city is discussed in relation to citizenship, presence, representation and public space, I try to understand the connections between democracy, participation, justice and equality. These discussions are then applied to examples from Malmö; both publically initiated projects and individual physical markings in the city.

Miljön på en intensivvårdsavdelning är utformad för att vårda kritiskt sjuka patienter med livshotande skador. Rummet är fyllt med högteknologisk apparatur, höga ljud, ofta flera patienter på samma sal och personal som ständigt närvarar i rummet. Närstående har en stor betydelse för patienten och de har behov av att få vara nära, få information och känna delaktighet när deras anhörige är svårt kritiskt sjuk. Intensivvårdsmiljöns påverkan på den närståendes besök är viktigt att lyfta fram för att kunna möta närståendes önskan att vara nära samt skapa en vårdande miljö där både patientens och närståendes behov beaktas. Syftet med studien var att undersöka närståendes upplevelser av att besöka en anhörig i intensivvårdsmiljön.

Försvarsmakten har p.g.a. av förändringar i folkrätten tvingats till omfattande förtida avveckling av vapensystem under de senaste 15 åren. Folkrätten är en av flera faktorer som påverkar utveckling och anskaffning av vapen. Frågan är om det finns möjlighet att genom korrekt analys av folkrättliga indikatorer kunna förutsäga möjliga förändringar så att yttre effektivitet kan öka m h t utveckling/anskaffning av nya vapen. Uppsatsen syftar till att analysera den svenska vapenutveckling och anskaffning för FM utifrån ett folkrättsligt perspektiv för att besvara om förändringar i tillämpningar av folkrätt kan leda till ökad effektivitet avseende utveckling/anskaffning av vapensystem.Henri Fayols teori om industriell och generell administration har använts för att analysera hur folkrätten inverkar på effektivitet inom vapenutveckling/anskaffning med utgångspunkt från Fayols syn på hur planering och kontroll ska användas inom administrativa processer.Fayols syn på planering är att denna ska vara framåtblickande och att analysen sedan ligger till grund för verksamhetsplanen vilket leder till att man producerar det som marknaden efterfrågar dvs.

Syftet med denna masteruppsats var att undersöka vilka idéer och faktorer som legat till grundför de säkerhetslösningar som finns på två socialkontor ? samt hur dessa förkroppsligas i ochgenom kontorens fysiska miljöer. Dessutom är syftet att undersöka vilka föreställningar omklienten som kan uttolkas ur detta. Studiens empiriska material består av sju kvalitativaintervjuer, som genomförts med tjänstemän som varit involverade i planeringen avsocialkontorens utformning och/eller tjänstemän med som har ett särskilt ansvar för kontorenssäkerhet. Empirin utgörs även av observationer som jag genomfört på socialkontoren.Materialet har analyserats och tolkats med hjälp av sociologen och filosofen Henri Lefebvresteori om hur (sociala) rum produceras, och filosofen Ian Hackings begrepp interaktivakategorier.

The senior essay examines the geographical imaginations, notions of Self and community that were mobilized in the media and by the government in conjunction with an event, namely, the space voyage of Christer Fuglesang ? the first Swedish astronaut in space on December ___ 2006. The study is a critical investigation of media discourses, representations of space, and geographical imaginations that were triggered by the event. The specific issues addressed by this study are (a) which representations of Sweden were mobilized in narrating the event? (b) In what ways has Fuglesang´s space voyage influenced the image of Sweden? (c) How was the event rallied vis-à-vis discourses of entrepreneurial culture and neoliberal growth by the government? (d) Which themes and clichés were mustered in the media dramaturgy of the event? (e) Which topics were excluded in media narratives and representation of the event? (f) Have familiar geographical imaginations, notions of Self and community been reconfigured? If so, how?The present study analyzes narratives of the event in the two largest newspapers in Sweden - Aftonbladet and Dagens Nyheter, as well the two biggest TV-channels ? Swedish Television and TV4.
