Malmö Högskola: Hälsa och Samhälle, Utbildningsområde omvårdnad, 2011 Bakgrund: Patienter med kommunikationssvårigheter efter stroke är en stor patientgrupp som är i behov av god omvårdnad för att förbättra patienternas återhämtningsprocess då de annars har en ökad risk för depression och dödlighet jämfört med de strokepatienter utan kommunikationssvårigheter. Syfte: Syftet med studien är att belysa sjuksköterskors uppfattning av omvårdnadskvalité för strokepatienter med kommunikationssvårigheter. Metod: Empirisk intervjustudie med sex informanter från avdelningar av neurologisk art på ett sjukhus i södra Sverige, med induktiv metodologisk ansats.

Bakgrund: Personer som lever med diabetes typ 1 måste varje dag anpassa vardagen efter sjukdomen. Egenvårdsåtgärder som hälsosam kost, motion och regelbundna blodsockerkontroller är av stor vikt för att uppnå god hälsa. Tonåringar och unga vuxna genomgår psykiska och fysiska förändringar vilket periodvis kan försvåra egenvården.Syfte: Att beskriva tonåringars och unga vuxnas upplevelse av egenvård och att leva med diabetes typ 1 samt att beskriva inkluderade studiers datainsamlingsmetod.Metod: Denna studie är en beskrivande litteraturstudie. Litteratursökningarna gjordes i databaserna Cinahl och PubMed vilket resulterade i 14 valda artiklar. Artiklarna granskades utifrån syfte och frågeställningar och sammanställdes till ett resultat.

Epilepsi är ingen speciell sjukdom utan ett symtom på en hjärnskada eller störd nervcellsfunktion i hjärnan. Epileptiska anfall beror på abnorm urladdning i hjärnans nervceller. Idag lever omkring 60 000 d.v.s. 0,5-1 % av Sveriges befolkning med epilepsi. Risken att drabbas är störst under det första levnadsåret och efter 65-årsålder då risken att drabbas av stroke är som störst.

SammandragDetta examensarbete utförs i samarbete med företaget Componenta Wirsbo AB. Componenta smider detaljer till den tunga fordonsindustrin. Företaget använder sig av sänksmide där materialet formas genom slag från två rörliga verktyg. Smitt material har mycket goda hållfasthets egenskaper samt en mycket homogen struktur.Företaget har som miljömål att minska sin uppvärmningsenergi med 5 %. Componenta arbetar även med ett Leanprojekt som ska leda till en mer kontinuerlig produktion.

Environmental destruction is a growing problem in our world. Almost every day there are new reports concerning that we have to do something about the greenhouse gasses. Simultaneously is the human constantly more eager to have a life with higher standards and therefore uses more energy. The environment is a question that is highly up-to-date and more people try to find solutions on how to save our planet. One way to decrease the energy demand is to build passive houses, where the houses don?t have any active heating.

Increased understanding of the mechanisms that operate in conjunction with the welding of metal surfaces may help to improve existing manufacturing processes, and to enable new products and combinations of materials. The purpose of the project has therefore been to acquire a deeper understanding of what is happening in the bond for steel and for the factors that form the basis for a bond to develop between metals in the production of laminates by pressing. The merge has been done by pressing and the surfaces after the experiments have been studied in detail in the scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) and with interferenceprofilometry in Wyko, to provide a greater understanding of the mechanisms that influence the bonding in the interface between metals. The project was limited to contain the materials Docol 1000, HyTens 1200, Aluminum AA3003 and a commercial steel. The parameters varied in the experiments to study their influence closer are temperature, pressure, heat treatment and pretreatment. This has been implemented by pressing with varying temperature and pressure.

För att ha en chans att ändra trenden med ökande utsläpp av växthusgaser är internationella samarbeten nödvändiga. Därför har EU genom miljökvalitetsmålet Begränsad Miljöpåverkan satt krav på högsta tillåtna utsläpp av växthusgaser. Att sänka energianvändningen för upp- värmning är ett steg i att även sänka utsläpp av koldioxid, som är en av växthusgaserna. Sänkning av energianvändning kan göras på flera sätt, bl.a. genom att öka tjockleken på isoleringen eller återvinna värmen i frånluften. Men dessa åtgärder ska inte helt okritiskt göras.

As emission legislations across the world continuously pushes engine development forward,engineers constantly need to come up with and implement fuel saving technologies. During thelast decade, variable cam phasing has become a popular solution to increase gas exchangeefficiency. This configuration is typically mechanically constrained by camshaft limitations, anda solution to circumvent this problem would be to use a different valve actuation principle.One example of this is to use pressurized air controlled by electrical solenoids. Such a systemhas been developed byCargine Engineering and this provides the starting point for this work. Tobe able to operate the valvetrain on an actual engine, a control system is needed.

SammanfattningSyfte och frågeställningar Syftet med denna studie var att kartlägga skador hos tävlingsaktiva tennisspelare.·        Vilka är de vanligaste tennisskadorna?·        Får kvinnor och män olika typer av skador?·        Hur varierar skadelokalisation och skaderisk mellan olika spelunderlag?·        Hur stor andel av skadorna är kroniska kontra akuta?MetodEn kvantitativ undersökning genomfördes där enkäter skickades till 160 licensierade tävlingsaktiva tennisspelande män och kvinnor i division 1-3, i åldrarna 18-54 år. Enkätfrågorna berörde tennisspelarnas eventuella skador som uppkommit från tennisen. Enkätsvaren behandlades statistiskt med hjälp av SPSS och signifikansnivån sattes till p?0,05.ResultatSPSS- bearbetningen av enkätsvaren från tennisspelarna visade att knäskador, armbågsskador samt axelskador var främst förekommande.

To get a good economy on the dairy farms the fertility control of heifers and cows is a crucial factor. It is also important to know which key parameters that should be tracked. In this work well established routines for heat detection have to be applied. When the dairy farmers use technical aid in estrus control it is important not to forget that technical aids can not replace the human eye. Approximately 50 % of all opportunities to inseminate are missed because clear signs of estrus have not been displayed and/or recorded. The cattle fertility has been declining over recent years. During the same time the cow?s proceeds have increased, consequently applying a higher pressure on the cow and the manager.

The fertility of dairy cows is of great importance in order to maintain high production. The decline in fertility of dairy cows the latest decades can have several explanations. The large emphasis on high yielding cows and the negative genetic correlation between milk production and fertility traits could be one of the main factors for impaired fertility. To find heats and inseminate the cow at the right time is crucial to receive high conception rate. Delaval has, in corporation with FOSS, developed Herd Navigator which is a management program that measure four biological parameters in the milk; progesterone, betahydroxybutyrate, lactate dehydrogenase and urea.

The feed is a major cost in the dairy production and there is a constant interest in findingalternative cost-effective feedstuffs. Competitive dairy producers have to seek ways todecrease their production costs and the pursuit of cost-effective feed rations contributesto lower costs of production. An interesting group of protein concentrates are rapeseedproducts like ExPro (heat treated rapeseed) which have during the autumn 2008 andspring 2009 been very favourable compared to other protein feeds.This study focuses on the feedstuff products ExPro and Raps-Drank 60/40 (rapeseeddistillersgrain). The potential use of ExPro in dairy cow feed rations are also explored.ExPro is a well known feedstuff but Raps-Drank 60/40 is a relatively new product andnot known for many farmers.A field study on the use of rapeseed products was made on a limited number of dairyfarms. The main purpose was to study the management of the feedstuffs on the farms.The Farms were selected in cooperation with two local extension services.
