The purpose of this study is to achieve a greater understanding of the perception of the use of Special Educational Needs Coordinators? (SENCOs?) competence in school. The informants of this study are the director of the school district, two principals and six teachers in two schools in a municipality in Sweden. The method used for this study is qualitative interviews, and the results have been analyzed using perspectives on special education. The results show that the director of the school district has one ideal view of SENCOs working close to the principals with supervision of teachers, school development, administrative tasks etc.

The thesis evaluates a new kind of bearing arrangement in a traction motor that ABB hasdeveloped. Since the arrangement is designed in a new and innovative way it needs to beevaluated to see if it is safe to use. In today?s traction motors, bearings with a big internalclearance (C4-clearance) are used. The basic idea of the new arrangement is to reduce the fitsbetween the bearing and shaft/house.

Statistics regarding children, who are overweight, shows alarming results in many parts of the world. Overweight may cause serious consequences, as for instance heart- and vascular diseases. Research is pointing out that hereditary, social, behavioural and cultural facts may promote developing overweight and it is of great importance to find out how to prevent overweight and obesity in children and adolescents. The purpose of the literature study was to compile primary and secondary preventions against overweight/obesity in children and adolescents. The result showed that prevention through education, recommendations, healthy eating and exercise may be usable in the work to prevent overweight among children and adolescents.

This thesis purpose was to contribute to knowledge which could explain the driving forces behind Corporate Social Responsibility in corporate Sweden and their strategic impact from a management perspective. The method used to archive this research was a qualitative interpretative study conducted by interviews. The thesis is based on descriptive theories of drivers for CSR, concepts of strategy and CSR and normative/instrumental theories suggesting a strategic approach to CSR and stakeholder management. The empirical study is based on interviews with Swedish business managers in a strategic board position as well as consultants working with CSR strategies, supported with internet information from companies? webpage.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att undersöka vilka behov och upplevelser av stöd personer som drabbats av hjärtinfarkt och deras närstående har. En litteraturstudie har genomförts, vilket har inneburit granskning och sammanvägning av resultat från vetenskapliga publikationer. Resultatet visar att personer som drabbats av hjärtinfarkt och deras närstående har stort behov av information, psykosocialt stöd och tillgänglighet av hälso- och sjukvårdspersonal. Det behovs fortfarande forskning kring personer som drabbats av hjärtinfarkt och deras närståendes behov av stöd speciellt ur ett genusperspektiv. Framförallt finns kunskapsbrist om hjärtinfarktens inverkan på relationen då en man förväntas vårda sin hustru.

The aim of this study was to determine the self-perceived learning needs in patients with Coronary Heart Disease (CHD). CHD is the leading cause of death worldwide. Poor compliance is one of the causes of rehospitalisation. Patients suffering from CHD need education in order to manage their disease and prevent readmission to hospital. As hospital stays diminish the time available for patient education is limited.

Background: The standard of living should be the same for everyone, whether the apartment is placed in an old or new building. The residential properties that were built from 1965 until 1974 is now beginning to become old and in need of restoration. The financial crisis during the nineties contributed to the lack of maintenance on the buildings in Sweden. As the public buildings gets older more and more defects occurs. The coordination and maintenance will therefore have a more significant role in the housing company ?s work.The increasing interest about how old a building can be, attract much attention.

In this study I investigated whether the strength in the manual response for emotional and neutral stimulus search arrays can explain some of the difference in reaction times (RT:s) for emotional stimuli, or not. Earlier, perceptual, cognitive and attentional processes has mostly been used to explain the variance in RT:s. Thirtythree individuals were asked to, as fast as possible, detect a target picture among distractor pictures in 3 rows x 4 columns arranged search arrays. The pictures were categorized in fear relevant animals (snake, spider) and neutral animals (cat). The results showed, more correct responses for cat target.

Bakgrund: Den snabba tekniska utvecklingen har medfört förbättrade möjligheter till detaljerad och högkvalitativ fosterdiagnostik. Avvikelser i fostrets utveckling kan därför upptäckas på ett tidigt stadium i graviditeten. Att få ett besked om att fostret bär på en anomali är ofta entraumatisk upplevelse som försätter de blivande föräldrarna i svåra etiska dilemman. Fosterdiagnostik med MR är en relativt nyutvecklad modalitet som ger detaljerade och högkvalitativa bilder. Den forskning som genomförts hittills har främst handlat om magnetfältets inverkan på fostret medan det saknas kunskap om den gravida kvinnans upplevelse avundersökningen.

Försäkringen omfattar kostnader för att avhjälpa fel som uppkommit under byggtiden och syftar till att snabbt avhjälpa fel och brister utan långvariga tvister om vem som skall ta på sig kostnaden för att undanröja bristerna - en god tanke som dessvärre verkar fungera sämre i verkligheten. Lagen innehåller nämligen flertalet bestämmelser om tillåtna ansvarsbegränsningar vilket lett till att det vid flera situationer inte föreligger någon rätt till ersättning trots att det är rimligt att anta att skadorna skall täckas av försäkringen.Denna uppsats syftar därmed till att beskriva, belysa och analysera byggfelsförsäkringens tillämpning för att på så sätt komma fram till om syftet med lagen verkligen upprätthålls så som lagen är utformad idag eller om lagen borde ändras och i så fall på vilket sätt den borde förändras.Efter att ha studerat gällande rätt och föreliggande försäkringsvillkor har jag funnit att byggfelsförsäkringens tillämpningsområde är väldigt snävt och därmed borde utvidgas för att lagen skall vara helt ändamålsenlig. Jag anser således att utvecklingsfel borde omfattas av försäkringens tillämpningsområde för att byggherren skall erhålla ett fullgott skydd för byggfel. Jag är även av den uppfattningen att konsumenter som väljer att själva uppföra sitt hus utan olägenheter kan uteslutas från försäkringsobligatoriet då försäkringen medför minimal nytta för dessa..
