The progress of the health among the elderly has a major meaning for the needs of care, nursing and social services. The health of the elderly has improved but fall and fall accidents are a major problem. Acute diseases, activities and environment risks are often related to fall accidents. The aim of the study was to describe health care staffs? opinions about fall risk and fall prevention.

Marknadsstrukturen för djursjukvården har förändrats på grund av de riskkapitalbolag som sedan slutet av 2011 började visa starkt intresse och köpte upp ca 85 djursjukhus och djurkliniker runtom i Sverige. Från att ha varit kraftigt decentraliserad har nu djursjukvården på kort tid omstrukturerats till några få stora koncerner som till stor del dominerar branschen. Med detta som bakgrund är det högst aktuellt att skapa en förståelse för vad ägarförändringen och omstruktureringen i den svenska privatdjursjukvårdsbranschen har medfört för effekter på personalens arbetsmiljö i de riskkapitaluppköpta företagen. Tidigare forskning har visat att företagsuppköp har effekter för personalens arbetsmiljö. De effekter som studeras är personalens upplevelse av arbetsuppgifter, arbetsbelastning, engagemang, arbetsplatsbyte, rekrytering och uppsägning efter riskkapitalbolagens uppköp.

Forskningsfråga:  Vad kan komma att karaktärisera köpcentrum i framtiden?Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att med avseende på såväl nutid som framtid analysera på vilket sätt arbetet inom köpcentrum är inriktat för att stärka varumärket, klargöra sinnenas betydelse för köpcentrum och tydliggöra hur köpcentrum förhåller sig till konkurrensen från olika typer av handelsplatser.Metod: I denna uppsats har en kvalitativ forskningsmetod antagits. Uppsatsen har en abduktiv ansats. Vi har intervjuat sex personer med anknytning till ämnet. Urvalet var ett såkallat bekvämlighetsurval och intervjuerna semistrukturerade.Resultat, slutsatser: Det första syftet besvarades med hjälp av att presentera hur varumärkesbyggandet ser ut för köpcentrum och andra viktiga aspekter till detta.

The aim of this thesis is to examine the archivist's professional role in public authorities and discuss if, and in what way, the profession is effected by the new swedish process oriented archival description system. The study focuses on swedish authorities and does not make any international comparisons with other institutions. Neither does it investigate archivists workingin the private sector, but centers on public institutions.The survey is performed in five swedish public authorities, using interviews and observations. Grounded theory is used as a method initially in the purpose of keeping an open mark towards the object of study. The initial results led on to questions about how well the archivists perceived that communication within the authorities served, and how this in turn prepossessed their work situation and the professional roles in which they found themselves.

The purpose of our study is to examine what risk factors can contribute to a child/youth with neuropsychiatric disorders developing an addiction to drugs. We also wanted to find out what protective factors can contribute not to develop an addiction. In order to find out these two different aspects we interviewed twelve professionals to get their view upon the matter. The professionals work within different sectors such as school, healthcare, social services and one of the interviewed is a member of an organization that specialises in neuropsychiatric disorders.When analysing our result of the interviews we used Bronnfenbrenner´s theory on the ecology of human development. What we found was that there are significant risk factors and protective factors on different levels of the child's environment.On the first level, the microsystem, interpersonal relations have an impact on the child's development.

Background and problem: In the last few years the threat against the environment and especially the emissions of carbon dioxide has become increasingly debated. The government have set up a goal to lower the emissions of carbon dioxide with 40 percent until 2020 compared to the level in 1990. A Study of the Swedish Press Views on the Health Insurance Reform in the USA? The purpose of this essay is partly to examine whether the picture that Swedish press presents of the health insurance reform in the US, which is part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Act bill, will be of crucial importance to the possibilities that the American population has to receive health insurance. The main research question is accordingly: ?Does the picture that Swedish press presents of the health insurance reform in the USA, seem like something that will be of radical importance to the possibilities of the population to receive healthcare?? The purpose is also to examine in which model (demand or market) the opinions of the Swedish press fits. This purpose will be answered by using three specific questions asking whether their opinions differ when it comes to three criterions: organization, financing/resources and delivery systems.

For centuries inbreeding has been used to refine traits in dogs, making desired traits more hereditary and thereby, different breeds have been invented. Breed standards have been written for each of these breeds, describing in detail the different characteristics of each breed. When humans start to choose which animal to breed from, so called artificial selection, taste is put before function and the laws of nature, the natural selection, cease to apply. During this development, pedigree dogs have gone towards more and more extreme exterior characteristics and the dogs may have inherited various, more or less, severe problems for example compromised vision, impaired ability to move and difficulties to breathe. However they can still survive and reproduce because humans provide them with the conditions to do so.

Homocystein (Hcy) är en aminosyra som är starkt bunden till kroppens metabolism av metionin. När hcy tillbakabildas till metionin krävs närvaro av vitamin B12 och folat. Analys av hcy i plasma (P-hcy) används vid misstanke om brist av någon av dessa vitaminer. Analysen kan utföras med ett antal olika metoder. I denna studie analyseras P-hcy immunologiskt med analysinstrumentet Immulite 2000 XPi (Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Inc, Erlangen, Germany) och enzymatiskt med analysinstrumentet Cobas 6000 (Roche Diagnostics Scandinavia AB, Bromma, Sweden) med syfte att jämföra analysresultaten från de båda metoderna.

Trots att så många kvinnor drabbas av missfall är det ett ämne som det inte talas om i Västerländsk kultur. Kvinnor som genomgår missfall upplever därför ofta brister i socialt stöd i samband med missfallet. Av denna anledning spelar bemötandet från vårdpersonal en betydande roll då det kanske är den enda möjligheten kvinnan har att tala med någon om sitt missfall, men också för att få svar på viktiga frågor.     Den här uppsatsen syftar till att öka kunskapen om kvinnors upplevelser av missfall och bemötande från vårdpersonal. En induktiv forskningsansats med en kvalitativ metod har använts i denna studie. Sex halvstrukturerade intervjuer har genomförts med kvinnor från olika geografiska områden i Sverige.     Resultatet visar att kvinnorna delar upplevelsen av att ha förlorat ett önskat barn.

This essay describes my work as a director in a specialized orientation within psychodrama, surrealistic psychodrama. Using the language and performance techniques of theater and under the guidance of a director, psychodrama creates an improvised narrative or story. The essay describes several dramas I have directed, reflecting on my actions and choices as a director and group leader. I examine whether my working method has allowed me to be spontaneous and creative, which I believe the example of "The dangerous bear" demonstrates. The process enabled me to establish trust and receptivity so that a newly constituted group dared to investigate conflicts in symbolic ways associated with illness and death.

Bakgrund: Sjukvårdens kostnader ökar, liksom antal vårdtillfällen och vårdtyngd och krav finns därför på att effektivisera vården. Samtidigt som vården skall effektiviseras så skall också kvaliteten på vården tillgodoses.Syfte: Att undersöka och beskriva operationssjuksköterskors upplevelser av arbete på effektivitetssal.Metod: Studien utfördes med en beskrivande kvalitativ ansats och ett ändamålsenligt strategiskt urval har använts. Tio operationssjuksköterskor med erfarenhet av att arbeta på effektivitetssal fick svara på sex i förväg utformade frågor genom enskilda intervjuer som spelades in på ljudband. Datan transkriberades sedan och analyserades genom innehållsanalys, där två huvudkategorier och flera underkategorier framkom.Resultat: Det finns både fördelar och nackdelar med arbetet på effektivitetssal samt också erfarenheter som inte kan tolkas som enbart positiva eller negativa. Fördelar var bland annat att arbetet var stimulerande, det var bättre teamarbete och bättre kommunikation.
