Arbetet beskriver den utbildningsverksamhet i Halmstad kommun som har till syfte att geelever utan gymnasiebchörighct möjlighet att läsa upp sina betyg för att kunna studeravidare på ett gymnasicprogram. Verksamhetsstudier oeh intervjuer med personal har gjorts vid två olika tillfällen; år 2001 besöktes Ungdomscentrum (UC) och år 2007 gjordes en uppföljning då verksamheten precis genomgått flera förändringar och idag räknas som en "egen" skola, Klaragymnasiet.Personalen har under många år kämpat för förändringar på UC, som en start ansågman att ändamålsenliga lokaler krävdes för att möjliggöra utvecklingar. Då och då harhoppet tänts då kommunen ti II satt personer i olika omgångar att utreda behoven ochmöjligheterna av förändringar i verksamheten, men gång efter annan har det saknats ekonomiskt stöd/intresse och planerna har runnit ut i sanden.Genom intervjuer med personal kan jag återge deras uppfattning om hur verksamhetenutvecklats de senaste åren för att idag bättre kunna tillgodose elevernas behov. En tydlig förändring är en positivare syn på verksamheten utav personalen. Man har genomkommunens satsningar kunnat anställa fler lärare och annan personal och därmedorganisera olika inriktningar/spår på skolan vilket ger såväl elever som personal enutbildning och arbetsmiljö med tydligare struktur.

Bakgrund: En av de vanligaste cancerformerna hos kvinnor är bröstcancer. I Sverige diagnostiseras 15-20 kvinnor varje dag. För att kunna ge en god omvårdnad behövs det kunskap om kvinnornas olika upplevelser. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att belysa kvinnors upplevelser efter ställd bröstcancerdiagnos. Metod: En litteraturstudie baserad på vetenskapliga artiklar med kvalitativ ansats.

The purpose of this essay was to investigate the view of what kind of role the personal assistant has in disabled people´s life and sexlife and how conceptions of a "normal" life and "to live like others" can be identified related to this. My research questions was: What does the expression "to live like others" mean to the organisations? What is the view in the organisations of the personal assistant´s role in the client´s life? What is the view in the organisations of the personal assistant´s role in the client´s sexlife? What is the view in the organisations of disabled people´s rights to get assisted help with sex? I chose to do semistructured interviews with different organisations related to disability and assistance and I analysed the interviews with theoretical aspects of social constructivism, the principle of normalization and the theory of SRV (Social Role Valorization), autonomy, individualism and models of action. My main conclusion were that the views of disabled people´s sexuality and the personal assistant´s role in disabled people´s sexlife were widely separate. However, almost all of the organisations were pointing out the autonomy of the individual and the importance of setting the limits.

There are plenty of exciting changes being developed in Tre Högar´s Park, which is located in the district of Linero, eastern Lund. A project group representing Linero If, Lugi Tennis and Linero/Östra Torn Health centre, has been created and is responsible for managing a development project of the Park. Their main focus is to create sports, exercise, health-promotion, health-care, recreation and rehabilitation facilities. They view the park area as having great potential and will transform it into a purpose built park for Health and Exercise. There are various authorities involved with and engaged in the scheme; aside from the project group, the municipality of Lund, The sport association of the handicapped and local schools are being consulted.

This research aim was to examine the relationship between the choice of lunch dish, level of education, gender and age of the participants. The understanding of diet and it´s influence on health was also of interest to the research, as was cooking interest and travel habits. The goal was to demonstrate how these factors affect the adult individuals in their choice of lunch. A questionnaire was filled in by 99 guests in a chosen restaurant. The results show that many of these factors influence the choice of dish, especially those related to gender.

Antalet kvinnor som insjuknar i bröstcancer ökar för varje år. Metoderna för att upptäcka och behandla bröstcancer förbättras, vilket leder till att fler och fler kvinnor lever efter genomgången bröstcancerbehandling. Syftet med studien var att belysa kvinnors upplevelse av att leva efter bröstcancerbehandling. Ansatsen i litteraturstudien var kvalitativ och analysen i studien resulterade i fyra huvudkategorier, Upplevelsen av att ha en förändrad syn på livet, Upplevelsen av att ha en förändrad syn på kroppen, Upplevelsen av att vara frisk men ändå sjuk och Upplevelsen av ensamhet. Som sjuksköterska är det viktigt att känna till hur de här kvinnorna upplever sin nya situation, då den är väldigt annorlunda än den var tidigare och att använda sig av livsvärldsperspektivet för att på ett bättre sätt möta de här kvinnorna i vården..

Att skolan ska arbeta med hälsoförebyggande insatser beskrivs av Socialstyrelsen som anger att skolhälsovården ska vara en tydlig aktör i det hälsopreventiva arbetet som samhället riktar till barn och ungdom. Därtill betonas skolhälsovårdens medverkan i det hälsopedagogiska arbetet såsom hälsofrämjande undervisning eller individuella hälsosamtal. Utifrån ett individanpassat arbetssätt utgör hälsosamtalet en naturlig del av hälsoarbetet för skolsköterskan. Syftet med studien var att beskriva förutsättningar för skolsköterskans hälsosamtal med elever i skolan med fokus på individ, grupp- och organisationsnivå. Skolsköterskor inom den kommunala skolhälsovården med representation från tre län ingick i studien.

The population over 65 years of age is increasing and health in elderly has been a subject of research for decades but voice function and vocal health has not been prioritized. The purpose of this study is to obtain reference value for the Swedish version of Voice Handicap Index (RHI) and the Throat Scale among people over 65 years of age and assess voice function and vocal health for this age group. The questions were as followed:1) What is the reference value of RHI for people over 65 years of age? 2) What is the reference value of the Throat Scale for people over 65 years of age? 3) Is there a correlation between a self-rated VA-scale on the perceived degree of voice problems, and the self-rated RHI-/Throat Scale result? 4) Does age, gender or previous profession matter for the self-perceived voice?In total 100 individuals participated in the study, 50 women and 50 men, between 65 and 92 years old. The reference value of RHI for people over 65 years of age was 13,4 points and the reference value for the Throat Scale was 7,7 points.

SammanfattningSyfte och frågeställningarUppsatsen syftade till att undersöka elevers uppfattningar kring begreppet hälsa, ur ett salutogent och patogent perspektiv. De frågor som ställdes var: har eleverna en salutogen eller patogen bild av hälsa, var får eleverna sin uppfattning kring hälsa ifrån samt förmedlar lärare i idrott och hälsa en salutogen eller patogen bild av hälsa enligt eleverna?Metod10 elever (7 flickor och 3 pojkar) i årskurs 9 från tre skolor i västra och södra delen av Stockholm deltog alla i en halvstrukturerad intervju. Intervjuerna genomfördes på respektive elevs skola i ett avskilt rum. Deras svar kategoriserades och analyserades med utgångspunkt i Antonovskys teorier, och Quennerstedts utvecklingar av dessa, kring salutogent och patogent.Resultat5 av 10 elever ansågs ha en patogen bild av hälsa, 3 av 10 en salutogen bild medan 2 av 10 ansågs ha en tvetydig/oklar bild av hälsa där både ett salutogent och patogent perspektiv fanns representerat.

The purpose with the paper is to theoretically investigate how sensory experience and positive affect in contact with outdoor environment can promote health by 1) develop a model of the sensory and emotional processes based on multiple code theory (Bucci, 1997) and 2) examine if this model can increase understanding of the processes that takes place in outdoor recreation, the way this is described in environmental psychology research and theory. The paper starts by introducing research and perspectives concerning outdoor recreation. Different theories of nature?s health promoting effects are described. These include the restoration theories of Roger Ulrich and Steven and Rachel Kaplan, theories more concerned with outdoor activities and a theory combining these two perspectives called instorative theory. After this sensory and emotional information processing is examined through the works of Wilma Bucci and Jean Ayres. Antionio Damasio?s theories of emotion and Daniel Stern?s concept of vitalityaffects are than introduced to extend this reasoning.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate how small organisations within the subject field health and training work with their environmental scanning. The main questions in this thesis are: How do the organisations work with business intelligence/environmental scanning? What is their environment like and of which parts does it consist? How extensive is their work with business intelligence/ environmental scanning? Which are their main fields of application and how is the work compiled practically? In order to answer these questions we have chosen to use a qualitative method, which in our case consists of two interviews with people in managerial positions within the health and training subject field. The result of the two interviews is presented in a compilation, and it is thereafter discussed and analyzed. We used an existing theoretical model and altered it in order to correspond to the aim of this research..

Fysisk aktivitet och inaktivitet har under senare år fått mycket uppmärksamhet när man talar om hälsa. World Health Organization har identifierat fysisk inaktivitet som den fjärde vanligaste dödsorsaken i världen och vi går mot ett allt inaktivare samhälle. Fysisk aktivitet på Recept är en arbetsmetod som förebygger ohälsa och främjar hälsa genom förskrivning av fysisk aktivitet. Denna kvalitativa forskningsstudie belyser hur idrottsförbunds-, hälso- och sjukvårdspersonal i ett av Sveriges län talar om konceptet Fysisk aktivitet på Recept. Syfte: Studiens syfte är att analytiskt beskriva och problematisera de diskursiva mönster om FaR som kommer till uttryck genom hur ett antal FaR-arrangörer talar om FaR.

Basis?of?illness?and?the?loss?of?a?breast?can?be a?big?trauma for the?individual?and?affect?many?aspects.?Aim: The?aim?of?this?study?was?to?investigate?health-related?quality?of?life?and?psychosocial?situation and the?need?for support and?care?for?women?who?undergone?a?mastectomy?with?or?without?reconstruction.?Method: The?study?design?was?a?descriptive?study?with?qualitative?approach.?The?selection?was?strategically?consisting?of?the?eight?women?from?five?cities?which?had?undergone?mastectomy?with?or?without?reconstruction. The?interviews?were?semi-structured?individual?that?analyzed?using? content?analysis.?Results:All?of?the?women?felt?that?the?body?changed?after?the?mastectomy.? Feelings?of?insecurity?and?discomfort?were?common.?Among?those?who?underwent?reconstruction?were?all?dissatisfied?with?the?results.

Most of the people in today's society have at least some knowledge about Alzheimer's disease to some extent. When a person with Alzheimer's disease is being taken care of at home, the relatives have to change their own priorities and readapt themselves to the existing situation. The primary aim of this study is to describe how the relatives experience their own situation in life. The secondary aim of this study is to describe how the relatives understand their own relation with the health care authorities concerning the help and support issues. The authors have realized this study using the analytic inductive method and have interviewed four informants using a semi structured interview guide.

This master thesis is a study of anaerobic thread lockers and is done in cooperation withÖhlins Racing AB, which is a Swedish manufacturer of vehicle suspensions.The suspension in vehicles is constantly exposed to high vibration levels and a suspensionunit has several screw- and cylindrical joints. As an extra safety precaution so that thecomponents in the suspension doesn?t fall apart when using the vehicle, an anaerobicthreadlocker is added in these joints. The handling of these threadlockers is not totallyharmless and could lead to allergic reactions, and therefore there are Swedish laws to limit theuse of these. However, new types of anaerobic threadlockers have recently been launched onthe marked that are not considered under this law.
