Stödsamtal hos skolkuratorn i gymnasieskolan : En studie ur elevperspektiv

This qualitative study is about the individual supportive conversation with the school welfare officer in upper secondary school. The main aim of the study was to find out what the pupils get out of a series of conversations with the school welfare officer and what it means for the pupils that the welfare officer belongs to the school organization. Six qualitative interviews were held with pupils who had conversation contact with the school welfare officer during their time at upper secondary school.I found that these pupils and welfare officers were oriented towards change and solutions. I found that the most important thing for the pupils was to achieve a good and trusting relationship with the welfare officer. After this the pupil starts a process of change in cooperation with the welfare officer, with the aim that the pupil should be happy and satisfied with the current life situation.

The following article consists of two parts; one part is about house construction and the other is a specialization about radon. The house construction part describes how to project a house from start. It contains the conformation of the house, the installations needed, calculations considering the strength of the construction, energy calculation and what materials were chosen. Calculations considering the costs of building and operate the house has been carried out. The result showed that the house would cost approximately two million Swedish kroner to build and thirteen thousand kronor a year to operate.

Ensam Àr stark, tvÄ Àr en riskgrupp : Representationer av homosexuella i svenska tryckta nyhetsmedier1987, 1997 och 2007

In our study we examined recurrent patterns and changes in the representation ofhomosexual persons in Swedish daily newspapers 1987, 1997 and 2007.We analysed articles about HIV-infected persons and articles with a view to portray thelife conditions of gay and lesbian persons from the three different years. We chose toonly analyze news articles that intend to represent real human beings, which mean thatwe did not analyze reports that only reproduce abstract knowledge from authorities.With analytical tools from semiotics and discourse analysis we identified some recurrentpatterns in the representation of homosexual people. We found that a recurrent pattern inthat when homosexual people are seen as groups, they are described as deviant,discriminated and some times as a threat. When portrayed as individuals the nonanonymouspersons appear in articles and pictures as normal, strong and healthy. Lesbianwomen are not represented in the articles from 1987, but in articles from 1997 and 2007they appear as unhappy when single and happy in a relationship.The results also showed some interesting differences in news representation ofhomosexual persons between the three investigated years.

KÀnner jag igen mig? : Etnisk identifikation i barnböcker sett ur ett retoriskt perspektiv

The purpose of this essay is to examine at how to portray characters in the stories and narratives which depicts one of these children's books and if they really have something to ethnicity and its identification to be done.The Research questions is: What are the different identification markers given, to the reading child in the books, which might indicate that the story depicts people of different ethnicities? How are the characters portrayed in the story and which role is assigned to the main character? What story is portrayed and is it relevant to an identifier can occur?The conclusions of the five children's books shows that it is important with identifications markers, to show that there are different ethnicities. For example the analysis revealed the specific features of the illustrations and how the books portrayes someone with a different ethnicity and cultural background as something exotic.In the texts, the analysis showed how it occurred ethnic differences, by explicitly demonstrating differences between the characters. It was found that the characters were produced mostly as good, happy, curious, suspicious and unsympathetic. Common to all the main characters was that they had been placed, in one for them unusual context and that they were trying to assimilate to the new situations.Depictions consisted of realism and fiction.

SammanfattningSyfteSyftet med studien Àr att undersöka hur behovsanstÀllda ungdomar upplever sina anstÀllningsvillkor och hur deras livssituation blir pÄverkad i restaurangbranschen.MetodVi har valt en kvalitativ metod för att studera hur individen upplever sina anstÀllningsvillkor och hur det pÄverkar livssituationen. I den kvalitativa metoden valde vi att anvÀnda oss av kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer.ResultatI vÄrt resultat kan vi se att vÄra respondenter hade en negativ upplevelse av samtliga sex teman; anstÀllningskontrakten, arbetstider, framtidsutsikter, aktiviteter & relationer, hÀlsa och ekonomi. BehovsanstÀllda saknar anstÀllningsvillkor och har ofta inga skriftligt anstÀllningskontrakt. Denna anstÀllningsform har inga fasta arbetstider och upplevs av samtliga respondenter som otrygg. Genom denna otrygga anstÀllningsform blir hÀlsan, aktiviteter och relationer pÄverkad negativt med stress och instÀllda planer.

Automatic Trimmerhead

Automatic trimmerhead is an examination project for making an automatic trimmerhead for grass trimmers with the user and functionality in focus. Our perception is that a happy user is a user who can pick up his or her trimmer, use it and put it back to its place when the job is done. It should not be necessary to interrupt work and perform maintenance on the machine just to make it work as promised.The project has been made in collaboration with the company Husqvarna, which is one of the biggest actors dealing with garden machinery on the market. Together we determined the project goal, ?To invent, construct and test a brand new concept for how an automatic trimmerhead can look and function?.At this day there are several different automatic trimmerheads on the market, both semi and fully automatic.

Lojalitet pÄ arbetet : Ett perspektiv frÄn arbetare till chef

AbstractThis qualitative study has been made to examine which factors that are required to create a work place that can be associated with loyal co-workers. The study covers half structured interviews with nine people on different levels and with different positions, within a manufacturing company in VĂ€rmland. Our ambition with this study is to find out if, and if so, in what way the view on loyalty and which factors that are required to encourage loyalty, differ depending on witch level one belongs to in the organization. Our thesis is that our respondents will have various ways of expressing the term loyalty, and that these various ways are linked to the different levels that each employee is currently stationed at.The result of this study shows that the way people look at loyalty, and what loyalty is really about, does not differ that much among our respondents, regardless of their level. The factors that, according to the respondents, are important if one wants to create a work place that can be associated with loyal co-workers are: to be able to feel trust towards and have faith in those one works with, as well as the company and the way things are being run, to be able to experience the feeling of community, and that one is happy with ones work place, as well as ones co-workers.

This study aims to develop knowledge of different professional groups and their views on inclusion and collaboration concerning "students in difficulty." Through qualitative interviews and a quantitative survey, the researcher sought answers to this and also how inclusion, through collaboration between different professional groups, can develop in school.The results of the study have been analyzed according by Nilholms (2007) three different perspectives on special education: The critical perspective, the compensatory perspective and the dilemma perspective. The results were also analyzed based on Ahlberg's (2013) communicative ? relationship perspective.The result shows that the concept of inclusion is not clearly defined either in the governing documents or among the interviewees. This makes it difficult to speak the same language in school, which complicates the work of inclusion. Since the governing documents are unclear and somewhat contradictory when dealing with "students in difficulty" educators are put in a dilemma.

Before this study their present homepage was anything but structured. The products were sorted in an illogical order which made it difficult for the customer to find a wanted product. Mindful parents ? happy kids? En studie om sinnesnÀrvaro och förÀldraförmÄga

FörÀldraskap Àr en enorm utmaning och det finns ett stort behov av olika former av förÀldrastöd. Mindfulness har pÄ sistone fÄtt alltmer uppmÀrksamhet som en effektiv metod inom mÄnga terapeutiska och hÀlsofrÀmjande sammanhang. Jag frÄgade mig dÀrför om mindfulness skulle vara en metod och ett förhÄllningssÀtt som Àven kan frÀmja förÀldraförmÄgan. Syftet och frÄgestÀllningarna med uppsatsen var att undersöka hur förÀldrar, som praktiserade olika meditationsmetoder, upplevde hur mindfulness stödde deras förÀldraförmÄga, vad det för dem personligen betydde och vad det i praktiken innebar. UtifrÄn ett hermeneutiskt perspektiv genomfördes fem kvalitativa intervjuer med förÀldrar som praktiserade mindfulness i sitt förÀldraskap. Resultatet stÀmmer vÀl överens med forskningen om mindful parenting, mindful relating och betydelsen av förÀldrarnas mentaliseringsförmÄga för en trygg anknytning. Mindfulness visade sig vara ett förhÄllningssÀtt som frÀmjar förÀldrarnas förhÄllande med sig sjÀlva och sina nÀrmaste.
