This essay is based on students' growing lack of interest in science at school. Both from a democratic and social perspective, this is a worrying factor for the future. Through observation, I investigated how five science teachers conduct their teaching. This is to get a better understanding of how teachers' behaviour in the classroom can affect students' interest in science. With a socio-cultural research approach, I have tried to highlight a few pieces of the puzzle that may explain students' declining interest in science.

 The purpose of this thesis is to study the education of newly arrived 16-20 year old immigrants and how their education in the towns of Södertälje and Malmö matches up with national inquiry into the subject.The research questions in this thesis are as follow: What type of documents shape the work with newly arrived students? What's the preferred development surrounding the education of the newly arrived students nationally? What does the latest study, which is a proposed reform of the Gymnasium system, say about the education of newly arrived students?How does the local work connect with proposals of national investigations? Do the cities take responsibility for evaluating the education of newly arrived students? From arriving to graduating, what does the road to graduation look like for a newly arrived student? What is the curriculum of a newly arrived student?The methods used here are studies of investigations made primarily by Skolverket (The National Agency for Education) and Myndigheten för skolutveckling (The Agency for Development of Education), studies of local documents such as annual reports of quality and promotional material for programs at local Gymnasiums (High Schools), and interviews with local persons in charge of shaping the work with newly arrived immigrants.This thesis has not used theory as a foundation for structuring the analysis, but postmodern theory and the use of three dimensional power inspired the thesis.The conclusions made focuses on the future of the education for these teenagers at large and makes connections between the national investigations and the local work with immigration education.In order for these teenagers to be allowed to join the Swedish national Gymnasium, they need to learn Swedish, and integration seems to be an important part of learning Swedish quickly. .

Assessment is considered one of the most important tools used today by people in almost everything they do and learn. This also applies to school, where assessment is considered as a constant companion to teaching and used in order to develop students' learning and skills. Assessment is also an educational necessity which has different purposes and therefore different consequences.                                                                                                                        The idea of ??this thesis was on the basis of the interviewed teacher's perspective to investigate what role the formative assessment has on the development of pupils' learning and knowledge in mathematics for primary education, and explore how the teacher can, according to my informants, work with this assessment practice in the classroom so that it promotes the learning of the students in the best possible way.                                                                To carry out this study, I used qualitative research studies, the interview method, and also talked to five different teachers in the lower school ages on their view at the work of the formative assessment. Theoretical basis of the thesis is also based on the research that says that the assessment can be used to promote student learning and knowledge, but also the teacher's learning?s in the educational process: assessment can and should be an assessment for learning.

This article is about Abrahams Children foundation and its teaching method called IE- method. It?s about how a teacher can use the IE- method in the religion lesson. There were some questions in this article that had to be answered and the questions are:- How is the form of the religion classes when a teacher uses the IE- method?- What happens in the class when you study the interaction and the communication?- Does the student?s participation increase when they work with the IE- method?- What are the advantage and the disadvantage with the IE- method?- Can the teacher use the IE- method in other classes?To get to the ?correct? answer I used many methods like, observation in the class, qualitative interview with the teacher (Lisa Andersson) and with four students (Kim, Erik, Amanda, Patrik) and I also used questionnaire.

This thesis examines how role-playing games can be used as an educational tool in after-school programs and identifies the challenges and opportunities perceived by both students and teachers. The study is based on qualitative methods, with interviews with after-school teachers and children in after-school programs with their observations of role-playing activities in a municipality. The results show that role-playing games promote social development, creative thinking, problem-solving, and language development. Students reported increased motivation and engagement, while teachers observed improved relationships and an inclusive environment where students could explore different roles and perspectives. The research links these findings to previous studies that highlight the potential of role-playing games to develop empathy, collaboration skills, and critical thinking (Daniau, 2016; Trespalacios et al., 2011; Suryani et al., 2020). Furthermore, our findings support the curriculum goals of student influence and situational learning, emphasizing the importance of students' own initiatives and responsibility in educational activities (Lgr22, 2022). The study also identifies challenges, such as teachers' uncertainty about introducing and leading role-playing games due to a lack of expertise.

In which purpose, for who and when does equality get fullfilled in the education system? This studie takes aim on the upper level and second upper level school system to study what the curriculum says on the one hand and what the system brings out on the other. With critical theory as method, with Herbert Tingsten as founder, this studie analyzes the logic of the education system to set out if the pupils choice of education, after the upper level lower secondary school, in second upper level is legit with democratic principles such as freedom (of choice). The theory, used to analyze the individuals progress to be autonomous, uses Adam Swifts definition of freedom as an individual being autonomous. The findings of the study shows that what politicians chases as equality really i´snt equality.

Detta kommer att göras utifrån Fastighetsmäklarnämndens allmänna råd, huvudkontorens rekommendationer, studenternas erfarenhet av praktiken samt två programansvariga för fastighetsmäklar- respektive fastighetsekonomprogrammet.Metod: Vi har i våra studier använt oss av en kvalitativ metod genom personliga intervjuer, intervjuer över telefon och via mail med både fastighetsmäklarstudenter och huvudkontor. Vi sammanställde och analyserade det insamlade intervjumaterialet och den teori som vi funnit genom litteratur och artiklar.Resultat och slutsats: Det vår studie har visat är att fastighetsmäklarstudenternas praktik i dagens läge saknar hög kvalité i form av en strukturerad uppbyggnad. Huvudkontoren har utformat en mall med rekommendationer för hur praktiken ska genomföras men syftet de har med mallen når uppenbarligen inte ut till kontoren då de flesta väljer att inte ta del av den.

The purpose of this examination was to find how supervisors interpreted the termsvocational identity and vocational culture, found in the diploma goals in workplace-based learning at the Child- and Recreation Programme. To reach the purpose, I formulated questions that I answered through a qualitative study. I made six interviews with pre-school teachers who had been supervisors for students at the Child- and Recreation Programme. The informants answered the same questions and the answers were recorded. The result of the study showed that the supervisors made a fairly consistent interpretation of the terms.

Bakgrund: Högskolan Kristianstad ger sjuksköterskestudenter möjlighet att göra utlandspraktik. Sjuksköterskestudenter som gör utlandspraktik i ett utvecklingsland erfar upplevelser som påverkar studentens framtida profession, internationella perspektiv, personliga och intellektuella utveckling. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva sjuksköterskestudenters upplevelser av att göra utlandspraktik i ett utvecklingsland som Sri Lanka. Metod: En kvalitativ empirisk studie genomfördes som grundades på subjektiva dagboksanteckningar i berättelseform. Datainsamlingen har analyserats med kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

Landskapsarkitekt är ett yrke i tiden. Många människor har fått upp ögonen för detta spännande yrke och allt fler människor söker sig till landskappsarkitektutbildningen. Men när man frågar någon vad en landskapsarkitekt egentligen gör så väcks det fler frågor än svar. Detta beror nog till stor del på att arbetsområdet är så brett att det går att finna många olika nischer inom detta. Allmänheten tror för det mesta, på gott och ont, att en landskapsarkitekts arbetsuppgift till största delen består av att i dekorationssyfte pynta olika miljöer med vegetation.

Intentionen med detta arbete är att skapa en tydlig betygsmatris till APU: n som är levande och används i den dagliga verksamheten. I betygsmatrisen ska kursmålen tydliggöras för att få handledare och elever mer delaktiga i bedömning och utveckling. På grund av att eleven tillbringar väldigt mycket av sin skoltid på APU-platsen läggs mycket av bedömningen över på handledarna på respektive bygge. Här finns idag tydliga brister i kommunikationen mellan skolan och arbetsplatsen. Mycket går på rutin och är ofta baserat på gamla värderingar.

Det har visats att hoppet mellan sjuksköterskestudent och yrkesverksam sjukskö-terska är stort och att det har tagit tid att komma in i rollen som legitimerad sjuk-sköterska. Runt om i riket finns det ett flertal sjuksköterskeutbildningar som varie-rar i utformning olika mycket. Inskolningsperiod eller bredvidgång är därför något som blivit centralt för att mildra övergången från skolbänken till sjukhuskorrido-ren. Det finns också många varianter på inskolningsperioder Syftet med denna studie var att med hjälp av en kvalitativ ansats undersöka nyut-examinerade sjuksköterskors upplevelser och erfarenheter av inskolningen på sin första arbetsplats. Metod: åtta semistrukturerade intervjuer gjordes för att försöka få svar på studiens syfte och frågeställningar som var; Hur påverkar inskolningen tryggheten i yrkesrollen? Påverkar inskolningen utövandet av omvårdnadsarbe-tet? Det insamlade datamaterialet transkriberades och analyserades med inne-hållsanalys inspirerad av Burnard och två kategorier med sju underkategorier ar-betades fram.
