Prosthetic leg can give a negative psychological effect to the user, which ends up in decreased self-esteem and that the user hides his Handicap. xCover gives a more natural volume and a cool look. xCover changes the look of the prosthetic leg C-leg. The product is constructed by us, Patrik Svensson and Magnus Zetterqvist, for Christoffer Lindhe at Lindhextend AB. Christoffer has hired Martin Bergman at Smedjan 17 to make the design.

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka hur ungdomar som spelar golf på Skandia Junior Tour i Sverige förhåller sig till ämnet näringslära, samt att försöka få en förståelse för hur deras inställning är till kostens betydelse för deras idrottsliga prestationsförmåga. För att besvara syftet konstruerades följande tre frågeställningar; 1) Vilken kunskapsnivå befinner sig ungdomarna på vad gäller frågor av allmän karaktär inom ämnet näringslära? 2) Hur ser ungdomarnas kostvanor ut i samband med tävling? 3)Vilka samband finns det mellan lågt Handicap inom idrotten och goda kunskaper inom ämnet näringslära? 4) Vilka könsskillnader finns det vad gäller förhållningssättet till ämnet näringslära?MetodStudien vilar på material från en kvantitativ enkätundersökning med en del kvalitativa inslag. Frågeformuläret innehöll 27 stycken frågor med karaktären fasta svarsalternativ och 7 stycken med öppna svarsalternativ. Vid databearbetningen användes Microsoft Office Exel 2007 och IBM SPSS Statistics 19.

The aim of this study is to examine the opinion of teachers as to the situation of young people suffering from Aspergers syndrome in the Sixth Form(gymnasium. In order to find this out I have chosen to interview four teachers with work experience of Aspergers in three different gymnasium in middle Sweden. They were confronted with the following questions: What resources are available for these pupils in the gymnasium? How do they experience that the school situation functions and how would they as teachers like the school situation to function for these young people at school?The result shows that special teachers have an extremely important function to fulfil. Those interviewed felt that there are sufficient resources available, for example guidance and further education for techers as well as both support and means for helping the young people.However, every teacher does not understand this Handicap.

ABSTRACT Behavioural problems are a compound conception for emotional difficulties at different levels. Individuals with behavioural problems could have difficulties with social relations, low self-esteem, anxiety and worry. The purpose with the examination was to describe how clients apprehend their behavioural problems and what they consider could be the causes of it. The examination was based on the qualitative interviews with 5 clients and a professional helper. We came in contact with our clients through our practice.

This is a report about accessibility. For this project the accessibility of a building in the city of Halmstad was evaluated. It´s a three storey building with five apartments on each floor divided by two stairwells. These five apartments have since been divided into three different types of apartments. Each type of apartment has been assessed separately.

The purpose of this study was to conduct a market survey in order to form a marketing plan to enhance and communicate the image of Vreta Kloster Golf Club. To accomplish this, the authors conducted a situation analysis on the mentioned club. Data was collected through interviews as well as secondary sources. A qualitative content analysis was used to process the interviews. The secondary sources? credibility was scrutinized before their data was used.

AbstractDuring my university trip to South Africa I visit a black township called Lingehlile. There I examined the life situation and education for children and youth with mentally disabilities. I was interested in knowing more about what basic condition they have, period of school and what kind of support they get outside the school. The subjects that I have handled are a school for all, support for the person with mentally disabilities and their family, the opinion of the society, education and life after school. I got my result by two interviews.

Riksdagen beslutade år 2000 om en nationell handlingsplan för att förbättra tillgängligheten för persoaner med funktionsnedsättning. Hindren skall vara åtgärdade före 2010.Syfte. Att studera hur tillgänglighet i offentlig miljö beskrivs i vetenskapliga artiklar och hur det påverkar delaktigheten i socila aktiviteter för personaer med fysisk funktionsnedsättning.Metod. Systematisk litteraturstudie av artiklar sökta i fyra olika databaser.Resultat. Elva artiklar publicerade 2002-2009 studerades och resultatet visar att tillgänglighet i offentlig miljö har stor betydelse för delaktighet i sociala aktiviteter men också graden av funktionsnedsättning, ålder samt upplevelse av hinder är faktorer som är avgörande.Konklusion.

The purpose of the study was to learn how social structures can enable accessibility, by asking persons with visual impairment about their experiences of accessibility in the public environment in the city of Stockholm. Eleven adults with visual impairments, living in the city of Stockholm, were interviewed using two separate focus groups. The study was carried out with the objective to allow for the participants to be involved in the research process. The resulting data was analyzed on the basis of Nancy Fraser?s theory on social justice, focusing on the conceptions; needs, politicised needs, redistribution, recognition and misrecognition.

We will with this as a base analyze how these three parties facilitate and meet the individuals? influence and self-determination.

This essay aims to examine and compare the attitudes of decision makers in the local government and representatives of pensioners in two different geographic areas. The main questions were:- their attitudes towards the "stay home principle" (kvarboendeprincipen, a principle that aims to make it possible for people with a Handicap, disease or age to stay in their homes instead of moving to nursing homes).- their attitudes towards nursing homes for old people- their attitudes towards the possibility of staying at home when you are old and Handicapped and in need of care.The essay is built on qualitative research methods, based on interviews and on a review of research in the field.The author found a complex picture of attitudes. Everybody thinks that the best is to live in your own home as long as possible, except from those who live with Alzheimer´s disease. They showed different opinions on the issue of the need for moving to nursing homes. This might result in forcing people to stay at home.

Problem: Hur såg kundrelationerna ut innan det nya IT-systemet infördes och hur ser kundrelationerna ut med ett nytt IT-system? Kundrelationer som tidigare har hanterats via telefon eller på plats har ersatts av dagens lösning med ett IT-system som går att komma åt via Internet och ger mer möj-lighet till självbetjäning. Detta leder till frågorna: Vilka för-ändringar har IT-systemet medfört? Hur har interaktionen påverkats?Syfte: Att beskriva och förklara hur införandet av ett nytt IT-system påverkat interaktionen (relation) mellan ?kund? och leverantör vid en tidpunkt 5 år efter systemets införande. Med kund avses golfspelare och med leverantör avses golfklubb.Teori & Metod: Teoriavsnittet består av två delar.

The purpose of this essay was to investigate the view of what kind of role the personal assistant has in disabled people´s life and sexlife and how conceptions of a "normal" life and "to live like others" can be identified related to this. My research questions was: What does the expression "to live like others" mean to the organisations? What is the view in the organisations of the personal assistant´s role in the client´s life? What is the view in the organisations of the personal assistant´s role in the client´s sexlife? What is the view in the organisations of disabled people´s rights to get assisted help with sex? I chose to do semistructured interviews with different organisations related to disability and assistance and I analysed the interviews with theoretical aspects of social constructivism, the principle of normalization and the theory of SRV (Social Role Valorization), autonomy, individualism and models of action. My main conclusion were that the views of disabled people´s sexuality and the personal assistant´s role in disabled people´s sexlife were widely separate. However, almost all of the organisations were pointing out the autonomy of the individual and the importance of setting the limits.

The population over 65 years of age is increasing and health in elderly has been a subject of research for decades but voice function and vocal health has not been prioritized. The purpose of this study is to obtain reference value for the Swedish version of Voice Handicap Index (RHI) and the Throat Scale among people over 65 years of age and assess voice function and vocal health for this age group. The questions were as followed:1) What is the reference value of RHI for people over 65 years of age? 2) What is the reference value of the Throat Scale for people over 65 years of age? 3) Is there a correlation between a self-rated VA-scale on the perceived degree of voice problems, and the self-rated RHI-/Throat Scale result? 4) Does age, gender or previous profession matter for the self-perceived voice?In total 100 individuals participated in the study, 50 women and 50 men, between 65 and 92 years old. The reference value of RHI for people over 65 years of age was 13,4 points and the reference value for the Throat Scale was 7,7 points.
