For many years, there has been a housing shortage in Sweden. Many have been expecting a construction boom in the housing sector, but that has yet to arrive. With the current legislations and guidelines surrounding modern, energy efficient housing; production costs have increased dramatically in recent years. As a result, having a negative effect on housing production despite the high demand for homes.This exam work is carried out on a construction project of Sjötorpshus AB and its purpose is to evaluate how to optimise the construction process for the production of a new residential settlement, "Kv.Hunden", located in Katrineholm. In an interview with the company's MD, Pär Knutsson, four main issues were defined to focus on.

I samband med att intresset för att bygga högre trähus har ökat så krävs nya lösningar för att t.ex. kunna möta efterfrågan på stora öppna ytor och långa spännvidder. Träbjälklag med lång spännvidd har dock oftast svårigheter med att klara kraven på svikt och vibrationer. Ett nyutvecklat förslag på träbjälklag som förmodas klara dessa krav bättre än traditionella träbjälklag har varit utgångspunkten för detta examensarbete där syftet har varit att undersöka bjälklagets styvhet. Detta gjordes laborativt genom att bygga och testa en prototyp av det föreslagna bjälklaget och genom att en numerisk modell baserad på finita element metoden togs fram och användes för att studera hur olika parametrar påverkar bjälklagets styvhetsegenskaper.Bjälklagets design bygger på fackverksprincipen i primärriktningen och på balkverkan i sekundärriktningen.

Detta projekt, i kursen Examensarbete i teknisk design, produktionsdesign vid Luleå tekniska universitet, har utförts på Scania CV AB i Södertälje mellan januari och juni 2014. Utöver denna rapport presenterades projektet både vid Luleå tekniska universitet och vid Scania CV AB. Fokus i arbetet var att ta fram en metod för riskbedömning avseende hand- och armvibrationer hos handhållna verktyg som är anpassad för Scanias produktionsverksamhet i Sverige. Målet var att Scania på ett enhetligt sätt ska ha kontroll över vibrationsexponeringen som arbetstagarna utsätts för, i enlighet med kraven från Arbetsmiljöverkets föreskrift, AFS 2005:15 ? Vibrationer, där insats- och gränsvärdet är 2,5 m/s2 respektive 5,0 m/s2.

To which extent elderly people at nursing homes have an influence on their daily living is currently debated. Studies have shown that they have limited influence due to restricting routines associated with nursing homes. Therefore the aim of this study was to examine how elderly people experience the ability to influence their daily living at nursing homes and how limited influence is revealed in the daily care. Five elderly people, from four different nursing homes, underwent a structured interview. The outcome of the interviews was analyzed in relation to established theories related to geriatric care.

The overall market they are concentrated on is to different institution such as schools, hospitals etc.The purpose of this work is to investigate possibilities to improvement of material- and production control at JELD-WEN. The report will handle the master production schedule to and from the production divisions within manufacturing industry. Focus will be on the way for information- and material flows from arrival, transport within the company and further on to customers.Further a map of the flow was performed which gave a clearer picture of the connection between the flow of information- and material for the manufacturing process. On the basis of the mapping of the flow, the group discovered that the flow of material had some improvement potential.

The aim of this study is to explore howEuropean changes in the view on securityrelates to the view on immigration and viceversa. The answer to that question is basedupon collected data from three separatetime periods; the 1950s, 1970s and 1990s.These time periods are seen as importanthistoric decades when political changes,assumed to have affected the views onsecurity and immigration, have occurred.According to certain criteria each timeperiod has been labelled in terms ofnarrowed/widened view on security as wellas restrictive/open view on immigration.The hypothesis of the study is that, whencompared, a constant pattern can be seenbetween the historical labels of eachphenomenon, where a narrow view onsecurity goes hand in hand with an openview on immigration and similarly a widesecurity view relates to a restrictive viewon immigration.The conclusion of the study gives supportto the hypothesis. During all three periodsstudied a restrictive view on immigrationrelates to a wider view on security while anopen view on immigration relates to anarrower view on security. Thisrelationship goes both ways..

Syftet med vårt arbete är attstudera hur pedagoger inom förskolan ser på leken. Leken är en viktig del avbarnens liv. Den framhålls i både läroplan och inom forskning som viktig förbarn och deras utveckling, då man menar att det är i leken som barn utvecklasbåde fysiskt och psykiskt. I vår forskningsbakgrund redogör vi för forskningkring lekens betydelse och leken i förskolan. Vi redogör även för historiskaforskningsteorier om lek, som har haft inverkan på hur förskolan och dessläroplan utformats.

Our employer Camatec Industriteknik AB gave us the assignments to increase theirs range of versions on Camcoil that is their own patent product. Camcoil is a capstan system that is used when steel band fabricated. Exist for example in production lines their steel band should be annealed. Our goal with this work is to come up with a completed production basis on a Camcoil for heavy industry. The basis should contain calculations, 3D-constructions, drawings and cost proposal on manufacturing and detail purchase.Demands on this project:1.

Under vår utbildningstid på LTH har vi fått obligatorisk undervisning i AutoCAD medan undervisning i ArchiCAD varit valbar. Ett problem för de studenter som velat förkovra sig i ArchiCAD har varit att det på LTH inte funnits litteratur till ArchiCAD. Det har gjort att de studenter som velat komma igång på egen hand med ArchiCAD fått svårigheter med detta. Handbokens syfte är att hjälpa andra personer, främst studenter, med att komma igång med ArchiCAD på egen hand. De avgränsningar vi valde att göra är att endast visa de funktioner som krävs för att modellera ett hus.

Tolerance and resistance are two different defence mechanisms within the immune system that differ from each other in many ways: However it is not clear which of the two is the most advantageous in dairy production. Resistance is described as the ability to fight a pathogen in a host. Tolerance is, on the other hand, not aggressive to the pathogen per se, but rather protects the host and its tissues. Furthermore tolerance rather offsets the toxin from, for example, a parasite whilst resistance offsets the parasite itself. Resistance is however disease specific, which means breeding for a large number of diseases is needed in order to make resistance worth the cost for the host.

This master thesis is an analysis of how the amount of health centers per inhabitant has changed since the Swedish government implemented a new health care reform in 2010. The reform implies a free choice of health centers in the Swedish regions and opens up the market for private firms. The purpose of the thesis is to study the effects of the different financing systems toward the health centers in the regions. The models are based on theories of the need of health care. Two of the independent variables which are studied are income and age.

Pedagogisk dokumentation är en naturlig del som är integrerad i det dagliga pedagogiska arbetet. Pedagogisk dokumentation ska inte vara något som ligger vid sidan av utan förutsätter ett arbete med reflektion, samarbete och kommunikation. Pedagogisk dokumentation går hand i hand med ett utforskande specifikt arbetssätt, det utforskande arbetssättet. Vårt syfte med denna studie är att undersöka hur pedagoger på en förskola arbetar med och resonerar kring pedagogisk dokumentation.

Vårt examensarbete belyser hur betydelsefull leken är för barnet i förskolan och att det krävs utrymme för att den ska utvecklas och skapa mening. Våra huvudfrågor är följande: Hur tänker förskolepedagogen angående vilket utrymme leken ska få i förskolan?På vilket sätt kan förskolepedagogen inspirera till lek?För att nå ett resultat använde vi oss utav kvalitativa intervjuer, där vi skribenter intervjuade sju stycken förskolepedagoger på olika förskolor i en kommun i Blekinge. De teman som framkom i resultatet var: Lek och lärande går hand i hand, Utrymmet påverkar leken, Miljön en inspirationskälla och Inspirera utan att ta över. I resultatet av den kvalitativa undersökningen synliggjordes det att det krävs en aktiv pedagog för barnets lek och att miljön ska vara inspirerande och locka till lek.

Syftet med denna kvalitativa studie var att ta reda på mer om mäns tankar kring att det i Sverige idag är fler och fler kvinnor som väljer att skaffa barn på egen hand via insemination. För att undersöka detta har jag använt mig av fyra frågeställningar:Hur ser män på familjebildande och föräldraskap? Upplever män idag att det finns en risk för dem att bli exkluderade från familjebildande och faderskap? Upplever män att de inte har samma rätt till valmöjlighet som kvinnor har? Varför tror män att kvinnor gör detta val och att det blir allt vanligare?För att ta reda på detta har jag använt mig av enskilda intervjuer. Jag har intervjuat fem män utan barn i åldrarna 25-35 år. Intervjuerna har sedan analyserats kvalitativt men med en hermeneutisk ansats, där jag redovisar resultat och analyser direkt under respektive frågeställning.
