The purpose of this investigation is to see if there is any difference in how long pupils are staying in the activity of the music- and culture schools in the country. I have compared this with how large the teachers engagements are in average at each school, how many teachers each school holds and if one teacher is teaching within different areas, e.g. on different instruments. Thru mail contact with the headmasters at the music- and culture schools I have gathered data concerning the length of which the pupils are staying at the schools, the number of teachers at each school, the size of the teachers services and in how many different areas each teacher is teaching.It has been hard to get to any results in the investigation since the music- and culture schools don?t compile statistics on how long their pupils are staying at their schools.

This Master thesis aims to study the relation between Swedish governmental cultural policy and cultural events at two Swedish public libraries. The Masters thesis demonstrates how national cultural policy regulates every part of the public library. This demonstration is a result based upon national cultural policy documents and interviews with employees at two public libraries in Sweden. The conclusion that national cultural policy regulates this part of the public library is drawn with help of the circle of culture as applied in Culture Studies and Michel Foucault theories of power. The thesis contains the answer of four questions, two involving cultural policy and the other two events at the library.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka vilka hinder som fanns att få till stånd jämlika möten över- och underklassen under det sena 1800-talet i Stockholm. Ett ytterligare syfte är att granska hur den borgerliga kvinnan respektive arbetarkvinnan konstruerades av sig själv och av varandra. Materialet som granskas är anteckningar från Samkväm för kvinnor ur olika yrkesgrupper och protokoll från Stockholms Allmänna Kvinnoklubb.Metoden som används är hermeneutisk och teorierna som används är den där Simone de Beauvoir beskriver hur den andra konstrueras, samt Karin Johannissons slutsatser om hur arbetarkvinnan närmast ansågs som en annan ras under det sena 1800-talet.Undersökningen visar att det fanns en uppriktig vilja bland de borgerliga kvinnorna att mötas på jämlika villkor. Men de ekonomiska skillnaderna skapade hinder för det, liksom tidens föreställningar om arbeterskan.Hur den borgerliga kvinnan konstrueras av arbeterskorna framträder inte tillräckligt tydligt för att kunna dra några generella slutsatser av, medan hon av ?de sina? betraktas som det självklara subjektet.

Digital preservation is a relatively new subject to Swedish archives. Alhough computers have been used for a long time, preservation has been made on paper and stored on shelves. These days a lot of cities in Sweden have investigated how to best secure the digital information for the future through electronic archiving, e-archives. One option is to hand in the information as soon as possible, but to let the producer keep the information ownership yet some time. The idea is to let the producers of the information answer questions and hand out material, since they are more competent on their field.

I takt med att samhället utvecklats har även tekniken gått framåt, och digitala verktyg, såsom datorer och läsplattor, blir allt vanligare i klassrummen. En metod som går hand i hand med digitaliseringen är Att skriva sig till läsning-metoden som går ut på att elever i årskurs 1 skriver sig in i läsningen med hjälp av dator, eller läsplatta. Först i årskurs två börjar de skriva med penna. Syftet med denna studie är att genom en kvalitativ undersökning studera ett urval lärare och deras elevers förhållningssätt till digitala verktyg som stöd i den tidiga läs- och skrivundervisningen. För att uppnå mitt syfte har jag intervjuat två lärare och deras elever, samt observerat klassrumssituationer där de använde sig av digitala verktyg.

Our goal with this paper is to see how male and female sport is described through a gender perspective in the newspapers O?rnsko?ldsviks Allehanda and Aftonbladet (Sportbladet).Is there any difference between male and female sport reporting? Are the different sexes described in a certain way? How are they described? Do men and women get as much space in the sport-pages of the newspapers? And are there any differences or similarities over a ten year period?To look on some of these factors we have been doing a quantitative- and qualitative analysis of data. The quantitative analysis to show patterns that could be easy to count. For example we looked if the article was about men our women, what sport, whom had written the article and how much space the article were given. This to easy estimate if there was any differences in the sports reporting.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate emotions and collective identity in the handicraftmovement. Which are the collective identities of craft movement, and is it possible to speak ofan over all collective identity among the handicraft people? I will also examine the emotion workboth on individual and group level.Eight qualitative interviews were conducted to achieve the aim of this thesis. Research haspreviously drawn attention to handicraft from a gender and a historical perspective but neverfrom an emotional one. The theoretical framework derives from an emotion sociologicalperspective where Collins interaction rituals, emotional energy and Hochschild?s emotionmanagement is the main theses.

This report deals with the attitudes within municipalities of open source software and open standards and if open source software may be an option to gain open standards. The aim has been to find out if open source software and open standards would be able to solve the lock-in problems that municipalities have against proprietary software. The study is conducted as an exploratory, inductive and qualitative study with depth interviews of subjectively selected informants as data collection method. A literature review has also been implemented by the relevant books and articles. Some economic determinants of municipalities to make use of open source software have not been considered in this study.

The goal of this work is to get as good a basis as possible to explain what the owners want for products and services when those doing business with buying groups in Korsnäs purchases regions: Gävleborg, Dalarna, Uppland and Frövi. It should also provide Korsnäs knowledge of the most important factors to consider in business with the owners. Another important aspect is to find out what you have done better at the business with owners, to eventually be able to preserve and take them into account. 300 questionnaires sent out to randomly selected owners in these regions. This is to find out what the owners did not have the products/services of Korsnäs. 29 questions were asked in the affected areas to identify what was missing and to eventually be able to satisfy them.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze DVD covers for the genre romantic comedy from the 2000s as a way to obtain patterns and codes provided by the genre. The theoretical framework consists of previous research that analyzed various posters, theories about semiotics, genre, and visual rhetoric.  These theories will help answer the main question and help with the analysis.The objects for observation are ten DVD covers from the genre romantic comedy and a qualitative content analysis is used for this thesis. The movies are from the US and they are all high in Box Office. Box Office stands for how many tickets were sold and how much money a film has earned.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the construction of consensus in commune-collaborations. By a review of written material combined with elite interviews we have been able to follow the decision-making and the forming of consensus, in a commune-collaboration called NOSAM, in which they have decided to use consensus as a decision method. The thesis is based on a case study and we have decided to follow a specific issue that has been discussed for some time.We have created an instrument based on the ideal of deliberative democracy, through which we have been able to examine whether the decision-making in NOSAM can be described as a deliberative process or if consensus is formed by other incentives.The study shows that the decision-making in NOSAM cannot be described as a deliberative process, although there are some elements of deliberation. Consensus is formed in a proposition drawn up by the officials for the commune-representatives to agree on. Afterwards, the decision has to be brought up in each commune before reaching a final decision in NOSAM.Our opinion is that having consensus as the decision method leads to difficulties when deciding on bigger issues..

Syftet med mitt arbete är att undersöka elevers inställning till sitt lärande under ensemblespelet i musikundervisningen relaterat till deras erfarenheter av fritidsmusicerande. Skiljer sig synen på ensemblespelet beroende på arten av elevens fritidsmusicerande? Får alla elever en chans att utvecklas i sitt musicerande? Spelar valet av låtar in i elevernas syn på momentet? Jag har i första hand använt mig av en kvalitativ studie, där jag intervjuat elever om deras uppfattningar av ämnet. De resultat jag fick fram visar på att de elever jag intervjuat som på fritiden musicerar i grupp inte ges samma förutsättningar att utvecklas under skolans ensemblespel, som de elever som endast musicerar på egen hand eller de elever som inte alls musicerar. Angående låtrepertoaren så anser eleverna att låtarna fungerar, men de elever som på fritiden spelar i grupper efterlyser större genrebredd och svårare material.

Syftet med studien var att studera grundskolors organisation av undervisningen för elever med ADHD diagnos. Då detta är en mindre studie drar vi inga generella slutsatser av studien.I denna kvalitativa studie deltar sex intervjupersoner som är yrkesverksamma specialpedagoger med ett övergripande ansvar över flera klasser. Studien undersöker hur sex olika grundskolor i ett storstadsområde organiserar undervisning runt elever som fått diagnosen ADHD. Studien undersöker även om specialpedagogerna anser att kunskapen om ADHD diagnosen är tillräcklig på skolorna.Resultatet av undersökningen visar att det finns elever med ADHD diagnos på samtliga skolor. Hur man organiserar undervisningen skiljer sig från skola till skola samt från elev till elev.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att kartlägga och visualisera hur all medveten kommunikationen av arbetsgivarvarumärket sker internt i företag idag. Primär data har samlats in via tio stycken intervjuer. Samtliga intervjuer har skett semistrukturerat med öppna frågor. Sekundär data har samlats in via tidigare studier inom uppsatsens huvudområden, arbetsgivarvarumärket och intern kommunikation i syfte att skapa ett teoretiskt ramverk för att analysera primärdata. Kommunikationen av ett arbetsgivarvarumärke är en process som består i att i första hand sätta förväntningar hos arbetstagarna och i andra hand leverera de värden som utlovats.

Media has in the last year been dominated by news about the current financial crisis around the world. For the banking system in Sweden the crisis began to show in the beginning of 2008 and there where a lot of speculations about how serious the crisis would be and it?s consequences. In several aspects, the banks' situation in the current crisis, are linked to the banking crisis in the 1990s. Although these crises have had different break-out reasons, there are several parallels between these crises to be drawn.
