The purpose of this paper has been to highlight how three different highschool textbooks portrays Christianity and Islam. The aim of the paper has been to higlight and pinpoint how the three different textbooks uses different angles and perspectives on recontextualization; which ergo in turn creates a different field of transferred knowledge from each individual textbook.The paper uses an applied model of Bernstein?s theory of recontexualization, and from it derives two analytical tools to process and make an analysis of the textbooks transferred knowledge. The first analytical methodical tool of Bernstein?s theory is positioning, which is used in the paper to highlight what the different textbooks value and evaluate different kinds of knowledge of Christianity and Islam.

Denna uppsats har sin utgångspunkt i Eli Heckschers beskrivning av stationssamhällens utveckling i och med järnvägen tillkomst under 1800-talets senare del. Fallstudien av stationssamhället Ljusdal under 1870-1890, tio år före stationens öppnande och tio år efter, beskriver befolkningsökningen och handeln och industrins utveckling under perioden. Resultatet visar att befolkningen ökade redan innan stationens öppnande, troligen till följd av förväntningar på järnvägen, men att den allra största ökningen sker under 1880-talets senare del, i samband med att stationen blir en knutpunkt. Hand i hand med befolkningsökningen går tillkomsten av handlanden och hantverkare. Utbudet blir bredare med tiden, och störst variation kan ses mot slutet av 20-årsperioden.

During the latter half of the 18th century, when concrete started seeing general use in modern cities, the use of different methods to give the concrete a finished surface texture saw use. One of these was using different methods of mechanically altering the surface using a slew of cutting and crushing techniques with mallet and chisel. This was done in order to hide the often dull and gray look of concrete, and allude to other more expensive and luxurious stones. The work would possibly have been done by experienced stonemasons, using much of the same techniques and tools they would have used while working natural stones. Or did they? In this report statistics concerning the reliability of sprinkler systems from seven countries has been analysed. The objective of the report has been to determine the reliability of sprinkler systems in Sweden and to present suggestions on measures to increase the reliability. The main conclusion that has been drawn is that the reliability of sprinkler systems in Sweden is 92 percent according to the analysis of Swedish statistics, and that this figure finds support in statistics from other countries. Further results are that the quality of design, installation, maintenance and inspection of sprinkler has to be improved and that the Swedish incident report has to be revised..

Syftet med min uppsats är att göra en jämförelse av hur lärare ochandraspråkselever i årskurs 7-9 säger sig arbeta med ordinlärning ochinlärningsstrategier i ämnena svenska som andraspråk, engelska ochmoderna språk (franska, spanska och tyska). The purpose of this study is to explore how different discourses about risk linked to HIV prevention is likely to affect the decisions on the distribution of state funding for preventive activities aimed at 'men who have sex with men' (MSM). This by making qualitative interviews with principals that have an impact on this decision. Using a discourse analytic approach, based on both theoretical and methodological foundations, I investigate the discursive constructions of risk of HIV linked to certain groups and behaviors. MSM is found in the material placed into two different formations of groups, on one hand by the behavior on the other hand on the basis of identity. The identity position is organized discursively from a ?victim? position while MSM provides an "operator" position.

The aim of this study is to examine how students and teachers experience full class lectures in contrast to working individually in mathematics education. Furthermore, the study explores how different ideas of individualization influence the teaching practice.The investigation uses qualitative interviews and the survey analysis is based on the phenomenographic method. The interviews took place in two senior level compulsory schools and both teachers and students were interviewed. The ambition has been to explore the teachers? perspectives regarding their choice of method in the teaching of mathematics.

A group of two people, Jelena Durkan and Johan von Heideken, have worked together on an assignment from the company August Lundh AB. The company manufactures plastic products for all sizes of catering establishments. The basis for this thesis is a pre-study which shows that many of the users would be more drawn to the plates that the company manufactures, if there was a motif on the plates.This thesis will present the method of application for the motif that best benefits the company, with regard to the requirements placed on the motif, application method and the costs. The group found five relevant methods that were more carefully examined and compared to each other. Those are:Laser engraving, Hot-stamping, Injection molding, In-mould labeling and Pad-printing.The tools that have been used to solve this problem are: Requirement specification, QFD and OEE.

SammanfattningSyftet med det här arbetet är att undersöka hur pedagoger tänker kring lekens betydelse förbarns utveckling, pedagogernas synsätt och delaktighet. Jag har använt mig av ämneslitteratursamt intervjuat 4 pedagoger som arbetar i en förskola men med 2 olika åldersgrupper.Resultatet visar att pedagogerna anser att leken har stor betydelse för barns utveckling ochlärande inte minst i sociala sammanhang. Lek och lärande går hand i hand. Det skall varalustfyllt att lära. Att leka stärker barnen både som grupp och som individ.
