Efter en period av kraftigt stigande priser på bostäder drabbades Sverige av en fastighetskris ibörjan av 1990-talet. Krisen fick allvarliga effekter på svensk ekonomi. Den situation vi ser idagmed en kraftig kreditexpansion som går hand i hand med snabbt stigande fastighetspriserpåminner om den som rådde innan krisen. Genom en litteraturstudie undersöks i denna uppsatsvilka faktorer som anses ha förklarat fastighetskrisen i början på 90-talet, om de är närvarandeoch uppträder på samma sätt idag samt om dagens situation tyder på att vi kommer gå sammaväg. Slutsatsen är att situationen idag ser ljusare ut än i slutet på 80-talet till följd av förändringari flera viktiga faktorer..

This thesis investigates the effects of active ownership on the return on assets (ROA) of Swedish listed companies during the years 2003 to 2013. Active ownership is operationalized based on the probabilistic voting model that is used to calculate the minimum amount of shares the largest shareholder needs in order to possess control of a contested vote at the shareholder meeting. We study the three largest lists on the Nasdaq OMX Stockholm, having 1454 observations from 207 companies to test our hypothesis. The main result from the study is that there's a significant positive relationship between active ownership and ROA during the investigated period. The active owners' relative strength also proves to have a significant positive relationship to ROA..

The purpose of the study is to present a new dimension of innovation as a change of meaning together with the cases we?ve studied. It is discussed throughout the article if theories of perception and association can affect the organization and its ability to create meaning-changing innovations. The industrial robotics is a market in need of, perhaps, if not other markets but of finding new ground that results in the change of meaning.

 Prostitution has been intensely debated in Sweden for nearly four decades. Two major investigations have so far been initiated by the government and numerous propositions have been put forward in the Swedish parliament resulting in the sexköpslag from 1999 that criminalizes purchase of sexual services. The law aims at punishing the buyer and protecting the women in prostitution, thus making it possible for women to be helped by various social interventions rather than punished. Swedish society has undergone major changes in these decades. Globalization, the internet and the membership in the EU have changed the Swedish society and influenced the discourse on prostitution.This paper has a twofold aim, on the one hand investigating if and how these changes have had an impact on the prostitution discourse in texts produced by the government and analyze how female and male sexuality in connection to prostitution is constructed.

Att dagens konsumenter ställer högre krav gör att spelreglerna på marknaden har förändrats. Mossberg (2003) och Hultén, Broweus och van Dijk (2008) konstaterar att en ny typ av marknadsföring håller på att växa fram, där fokus flyttas från produkten och dess egenskaper till att produkten och inköpet ska ses som en upplevelse.Ett sätt att öka kundernas upplevelse i butik är att skapa en tilltalande butiksatmosfär. Dessvärre saknar många svenska butikschefer kunskaper om hur det arbetet kan gå till. Uppsatsens syfte är att lyfta fram frågan om butiksatmosfärens betydelse, och då framförallt för butiker inom second hand-branschen.

The main purpose of this essay is to study the Swedish labor law concerning employees who are, aspire to be, or are expected to become parents, both men and women. Thereby accomplishing a gender perspective on the issue at hand. The study also take in to account the laws issued by the European Union, and their impact on the Swedish law system, so as to gain an international perspective. The laws regarding parental leave, both Swedish and European, involve protection for workers from being treated in a less favorable way than someone in a comparable situation, as employers are forbidden to disfavor any employee or job-seeker in basically all situations in the work place or in a recruiting context, if the disfavor is in any way related to the parental leave. The only situation where an employer is allowed to disfavor an employee regarding his or her parental leave, is if the disfavoring is a necessary consequent of the employee?s absence.

I den här uppsatsen undersöker jag hur barns mående och beteende bedöms i samband med deltagande i stödgrupp på Trappan i Uppsala. Jag studerar SDQ-formulär (Strength and difficulties questions) ifyllda av barn och/eller deras föräldrar 2009- 2011. SDQ mäter sex variabler: a) emotionella problem, b) uppförandeproblem, c) hyperaktivitet/uppmärksamhetsproblem, d) kamratproblem, e) prosocialt beteende samt f) total svårighetspoäng. Materialet utgörs av skattningar för 166 barn. En ny rapport (Skerfving 2011) om utvärdering av stödgrupper i Uppsala län blir ett viktigt jämförelsematerial, men jag gör delvis andra metodiska val än rapporten.

Naturläkemedel är ett område som väcker stort intresse idag och allt fler individer väljer att ta hand om sina åkommor på egen hand. Modern forskning visar på interaktioner mellan naturläkemedel och konventionella läkemedel. Eftersom naturläkemedel under lång tid uteslutande har använts i egenvårdssyfte har patienters användning av dessa produkter skett i stor utsträckning utan medverkan från den vanliga hälso- och sjukvården. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka sjuksköterskors inställning till och kunskaper om naturläkemedel. Studien är av kvalitativ design och är baserad på sex intervjuer med sjuksköterskor verksamma vid två ortopediska vårdavdelningar i Södra Sverige.

The textile production has almost disappeared, the western influences are evident andthe consumer?s price sensitivity is prominent.The aim of this thesis is, by conducting a field study; to qualitative examine how to develop astrong domestic fashion brand on the Kenyan market and to give a foundation for a brandingstrategy for people involved within fashion in Kenya.

This report is the result of a project work carried out at Karlstad University in conjunctionwith the local consulting firm Camatec where most of the work has been performed.The work can be classified as a classic engineering work with supportive theories andcalculations which in this context is relevant.The engineering project has focused on developing new standards for a conveyor that is usedin the Värmland paper industry where large rolls of paper are produced. A conveyor can takeits appearance in many different forms but in this thesis it has been an exemplary look and ithas also become modulatable with a central section, a drive end and a turning end.The construction work has been build under CAD programs such as Pro Engineer, drawingshave been created and costings have been analyzed. Strength calculations have been made andcooperation from several different companies have erected to explore different solutions andideas for a modern and sustainable conveyor..

Syftet med vårt examensarbete har varit att undersöka om det finns några fördelar med att arbeta ämnesövergripande, och vilka dessa i så fall var. Denna undersökning är utförd i klass nio. Vi valde att genomföra undersökningen med både enkäter och intervjuer för att få ett så tillförlitligt resultat som möjligt. Tidigare forskning har visat att mening och helhet hör ihop, utan helhet ger undervisningen ingen mening. Ett ämnesövergripande arbetsområde kan vara ett sätt för eleverna att förstå varandra, samt att bilda sig en helhetssyn över olika kunskapsbitar.

There was a silence surrounding homosexuality in the People's Republic of Poland. One can almost get the impression that same sex love, and same sex relationships, did not even exist there; that the communists had successfully removed homosexuality from society. The roots of this silence can be found in the Communist Party´s disdain for anything deemed individualist and deviant, and also in the conservatism and religiosity of the Polish society.In my thesis I study when and how gays and lesbians found a way out of the silence that surrounded their sexuality. Gay men did so by creating subcultures, which found refuge in parks, public bathrooms and a few bars in larger Polish cities, and offered a sense of belonging for them. Lesbians, on the other hand, lacked this access to semi-public spheres, which made it even harder for them to find each other and create a space for their sexuality.
