The author of this report has created a Web-based invoice system and CRM at therequest of the company Webhouse.se. The purpose of the System is to makeeveryday tasks in the company easier. The system also needed to prevent mistakesand errors by managing orders and invoices.The system has been created with the company?s requests in focus. During thedevelopment of the system information security and interaction design have beenimportant aspects that have been taken into consideration.The system has been created using techniques such as PHP and MYSQL.

Den här rapporten, som är en del av kursen TDDD83 Kandidatprojekt datateknik vid Linköpings Tekniska Högskola, beskriver utvecklandet av ett e-handelssystem för den fiktiva t-shirtbutiken Utique. Den berör dels tekniska aspekter, men även de erfarenheter och lärdomar de tre gruppmedlemmarna fått under projektets gång. För att genomföra projektet användes programmeringsspråken Html, Css, Php, Mysql och Javascript samt ramverken och biblioteken Bootstrap, Cakephp och Jquery. Under projektets gång användes, efter anpassning till gruppstorleken, den agila utvecklingsmetoden Scrum, vilket beskrivs kortfattat i rapporten. Rapporten innefattar även en marknadsföringsplan för Utique där en konkurrensanalys genomförts och ämnena marknadssegmentering, positionering och differentiering berörts.

De allra flesta sidor idag använder en så kallad fixed design där sidan är gjord för en specifik skärmstorlek. Det finns nu metoder i HTML och CSS att låta sidan forma om sig efter användarens skärmstorlek utan att använda JavaScript. Denna teknik kallas responsiv webbdesign. Syftet med detta arbete är att studera responsiv webbdesign; hur det fungerar och om det är framtiden inom webbdesign. Studien har begränsats till moderna webbläsare och moderna mobiltelefoner för att se resultatet.

The purpose of this essay is to increase the understanding of how the management´s core values reflect the brand´s profile and image. To be able to fulfill that purpose, we used three problem statements that questioned how consumers, retailers and the employees of the company Kosta Boda perceived the brand. To accomplish this, we used a qualitative method. We started collecting theories about the topics: brand, image and profile that gave us a good foundation to build our qualitative interviews on and to increase the understanding for the topics. To collect imperical data, we interviewed consumers, retailers and employees at Kosta Boda both by email, phone and face-to-face interviews.

Denna rapport redovisar utvecklingen av en elektronisk portfolio som är avsedd att användas av personer verksamma inom eller med inriktning mot IT-branschen, till exempel webbutvecklare. Syftet med e-portfolion är att den skall representera en persons kunskaper och kompetens med hjälp av publicerat material som kan tänkas vara intressant för arbetsgivare. Tanken är att e-portfolion skall fungera som komplement till CV och personligt brev. För utvecklingen av e-portfolion har jag utnyttjat olika designprinciper och riktlinjer. Märkspråket HTML, CSS samt skriptspråken PHP och JavaScript har använts.

The aim of this thesis is to study different aspects of the public libraries' investment in public access computers connected to the Internet. What level of accessibility can be found at the surveyed libraries concerning the number of computers open to the public, as well as chat and email services? What activities have been taking place with the computers in focus, and what have the goals of these activities been? Is there any control of content, and what aspects of the Internet are, if that is the case, subject to censorship. And how do the governmental policies relate to the surveyed libraries' intentions and activities regarding the Internet? In order to answer these questions, each main library in the 42 largest towns of Sweden was surveyed response rate: 100 %.

This thesis is a case study of the informal internal communication at a Swedish government agency called Swedac. The purpose of the study was to investigate how the employees perceive and use the informal internal communication, what communication media they utilize for it and how the informal internal communication correlates to certain aspects of the organizational structure. In order to achieve this, six qualitative interviews was carried out with employees in the organization. Since informal internal communication is not a well-defined concept I explained my view of the concept in the thesis. The results show that the informal internal communication is very important and fairly widespread at Swedac.

Vid utgrävningar utförda av brittiska arkeologer 1922 i staden Ur i Mesopotamienpåträffades i en grav ett sigill: U.9750. Hantverket är i mörkgrön steatit och är 0,036m X 0,024 m stort. Idag dateras det till den gammalakkadiska perioden ca 2250 f. Kr.Sigillet förvaras i Nationalmuseet i Irak och anses som ett av de mer betydelsefullaföremålen från perioden. Museet blev plundrat efter invasionen av Irak 2003.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka varför företag har valt att använda Extensible Markup Language (XML) vid dataöverföring. I teorin är egenskaper som portabilitet, områdesspecifikt format, informationsbeständighet, struktur, återanvändning och produktivitet viktiga egenskaper för XML (Eriksson, 1999). Vi vill se om det är dessa egenskaper som företagen tittat på när de valt att använda sig av XML. Vår undersökning gjordes i form av en fallstudie vilken omfattade intervjuer hos tre företag som använder sig av XML. I analysfasen använde vi oss av en dataanalysmodell som heter reflexiv dataanalys.

Under utbildningen Medie- och kommunikationsteknik utfördes detta examensarbete på våren 2006 åt STRAX media i Linköping. Eftersom STRAX media kände att det var dags att de marknadsförde sig på Internet tyckte de att det var en utmärkt idé att en examensarbetare skulle göra hemsidan åt dem. Denna hemsida är ett sätt för STRAX media att visa vad de erbjuder samt vilka de är som driver företaget. Hemsidan är uppbyggd av HTML och PHP och den är kopplad mot en SQL-databas. Syftet med rapporten är att ge läsaren en enkel insikt om hur jag skapade hemsidan åt STRAX media genom att ge exempel och bilder.Planeringen som gjordes bra och således kunde hemsidan läggas ut inom den planerade tidsramen.

På uppdrag av Berga Herrfrisör har det i det här examensarbetet skapats en webbplats där salongens kunder ska kunna gå in och boka tid. Kravet från salongen var att sidan ska vara användarvänlig och att det inte ska krävas speciellt mycket datorvana för att kunna genomföra en bokning. För att ta fram detta skapades en prototyp av bokningssystemet som testats på salongens kunder. Efter feedback från kunderna och ändringar skapades sedan bokningssystemet som sedan fick genomgå ett användartest.Den slutsats som sedan drogs av användartestet var att bokningssystemet håller en bra användarvänlighet för salongen. Alla testpersoner lyckades genomföra testet även om en av kunderna gjorde några mindre misstag.

Examensarbetet handlade om att integrera Microsoft Outlook 2003 med EBI Systems plattform Platina. För de som inte vet vad Microsoft Outlook är så kommer här Microsofts definition: Microsoft® Office Outlook® 2003 är ett personligt informationshanterings- och kommunikationsprogram där du hanterar e-post, kalendrar, kontakter och annan personlig och grupprelaterad information. Vill du veta mer om Platina så finns det information i Bilaga E. Målet med examensarbetet var att få tillgång till filer och funktioner från Platina i MS Outlook. Användaren av Outlook skulle även kunna spara e-post direkt till Platina databasen på olika sätt, till ärenden, till handlingar och till vanliga mappar.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how social services workers describe, the risk of being exposed to threats and violence in their profession. Six social services workers were interviewed, four from the Welfare Office in a major city and two from the Child and Family Services in a minor city. Results showed that the majority of social services workers consider themselves exposed in their profession, meaning that they feel there's a risk of a violent or threatening situation occurring in their work situation. All interviewees had experiences from some sort of threat or violence in a work related context and they attested that non-personal assaults, such as threats made through telephone, email and answering machines are more common than verbal assaults made in personal meetings. Being prepared and listening to ones intuition is a way of dealing with exposure when meeting with a client.

The purpose of this study is to investigate whether there are any similarities or differences between leisure-time pedagogs and primary school teachers' verbal communication with parents. Questions we ask ourselves is how the verbal contact looks like today, the desire for how it should be and the importance of verbal communication has.We chose to make a qualitative questionnaire study in the form of open questions to three leisure-time pedagogs, three primary school teachers and eleven parents were asked to answer.The results show that leisure-time pedagogs, primary school teachers and parents believe that verbal communication is important and significant. They believe that it is working well today, whether is via face to face, telephone or email. The verbal communication should be honest and straight between all parties. Parents believe it is important to know leisure-time pedagogs who take care of their children, in order to create a sense of security among parents.
