The purpose of this paper is to investigate and analyze the importance of networking and relationships in the music industry. We also want to see whether these factors have any impact on the Swedish music exports.These musings have led to the formulation of the following question; -          How can the musiclabels in the music industry make use of networks and relationships to strengthen the Swedish music exports to the U.S. and make it more efficient? The essay is written with a qualitative method with an abductive perspective. That?s because our research question has demanded that we get a deeper view of the subject to be able to answer it.The empirical data is collected through telephone or email interviews.

Arbetet ger en lösning till problem som uppkommer vid spel över nätverk orsakade av nätverksfördröjning. Ett vanligt problem är konsistensfel, olika spelare ser olika speltillstånd på sina skärmar. Lokal fördröjning är en teknik för att undvika uppkomsten av inkonsistenser. Genom att låta en spelarhandlings effekt fördröjas lokalt ges handlingen ett försprång över nätverket. Då ökar sannolikheten att båda parterna utför handlingen samtidigt.

Många företag som utvecklar en webb-applikation försäkrar regelbundet med olika testmetoder att de har en fungerande produkt. Ändå dröjer ofta leverans till kund och slutanvändare. Här beskrivs en lyckad implementation av hur leverans regelbundet kan ske till en molntjänst med ett så kallat blue green pattern som gör att applikationen kan uppdateras med minimal påverkan för slutanvändaren. Lösningen består i att webb-applikationenkan driftsättas i två olika miljöer och att användare alltid, via en html-sida som fungerar som en trafikriktare, skickas till den miljö som har den senaste versionen av applikationen. Genom ett script driftsätts den nya applikationen på den miljö som för tillfället inte har några besökare.

This report is going to be focusing on the development of a promotion page and login system for the web production company Adoreyou. The promotion page and login will be parts of a new taxi application for iPhone that lets the customer book a taxi and drivers manage the requests from the customers.Taxi application?s that let customer?s book trips are nothing new but they are constantly being explored and developed. The most common practice is to let the customer fill in from what address he or she wants to be picked up and to where he or she wants to be taken. Then the price is set in the application depending on the distance and most likely other factors like weekday and time.

Denna examensrapport på magisternivå genomfördes under våren 2004, hos AB Borlänge Energi.Borlänge Energis servicetekniker behövde ett hjälpmedel för att effektivisera deras arbetsuppgifter. Tidigare sparades driftjournaler för varje servicekund lokalt hos kunden. Serviceteknikern behövde också åka tillbaka till huvudkontoret för att slutföra ett uppdrag. Borlänge Energi hade inte heller någon möjlighet att föra statistik över servicekunderna då alla driftjournaler sparades hos servicekunden.Vi utvecklade en prototyp av ett inrapporteringsverktyg för en handdator. I detta verktyg får serviceteknikern tillgång till all relevant information gällande serviceuppdraget.

The purpose of this master?s thesis is to gain insights into students? usage and attitudes towards electronic articles and electronic books and how students feel about a change from print collections to digital collections at Växjö University Library. The main questions are: How do different groups of students use the library collections of electronic articles and electronic books? What factors influence the usage of the library collections of electronic articles and electronic books among students? What are the students? experiences of reading electronic books in comparison with reading print books? What would different groups of students think if the literature they need for their studies were purchased in electronic form instead of print? To answer the questions a user study was carried out at Växjö university library. A web survey was sent to students that had a library card and an email address registered at the library.

This study investigates the use of the social network Facebook among 67 Swedish libraries; 27 academic libraries and 40 public libraries. Data is collected through an analysis of the libraries? Facebook pages and through an email survey. To analyze the data, a series of statistical analyses were performed.The results indicate that the public libraries more actively posted Facebook updates than the academic libraries and that the libraries that had a policy for use of Facebook/social media more actively posted updates than those libraries that did not have such policy. The libraries use Facebook mainly to post links and photos and to announce events, provide book recommendations, and to emphasize special occasions.

Purpose: The main purpose of the thesis is to examine the consequences of applying IAS40 on the Swedish real estate companies? annual reports. How does its application affect the companies? stockholders? capital and how do the companies solve the problems that occur due to the application of this standard.Method: The authors use both the qualitative and quantitative approaches to process the thesis. The primary data comprises of hard data in form of annual reports and the secondary data consists of the soft data as direct interviews and email interviews.Theory: There aren?t any theories on the subject.

With the new generation of smartphones the boundaries for what is a mobile phone and whatis a computer becomes more subtle. 2009 the shipment of smartphones with touchscreen morethan double the 2008 figure and the total amount of smartphones is now over 10 % of the totalworldwide shipments of mobile phones. There?s still one problem to solve and that is the lackof web content specifically adapted for smartphones.The purpose of this paper is to identify and analyze from a user and usability perspective howto make a successful migration and design of a user interface for an existing web basedsystem so that it also fit smartphones.The paper starts with a theoretical reference material containing examples of differentapproaches for design and migration of an interface.A case study is performed and prototypes are designed with support from guidelines andrecommendations in the theory part.The conclusion stipulates that in the present situation there are no shortcuts when it comes tomigration of an existing web based system for the mobile web. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka synen hos pedagoger om bildskapandets möjligheter att utveckla språket för elever inom särskolan. Vi har valt att rikta vår forskning till pedagoger i särskolan eftersom vi tror att de pedagoger som arbetar med funktionshindrade, har för vana att hitta olika slags lösningar jämfört med vad som annars är brukligt inom grundskolan. I vår undersökning har vi använt oss av en enkät som genom email skickades ut till pedagoger som arbetar inom särskolans i en kommun i norra Sverige. Eftersom vi fick in endast ett svar på enkäten, valde vi att använda oss av personliga intervjuer istället. Resultatet grundar sig på fem intervjuer med pedagoger som arbetar inom tre olika enheter.

Aim: The main purpose of this thesis was to investigate how the employees experience theinternal communication and to examine the channels they communitace trough betweenthe departments at Blå Stället in Sweden. This task was given by the unit chiefs at thecompany who?ve seen a need to investigate and improve their internal communication.The goal is therefore also to produce concrete and well-founded proposals on how theinternal communication can bee improved at Blå Stället. Relevant Theoretical frame ofreference was internal communication, information, communication channels, formaland informal communication. To collect data from employees I made six interviews,one from every department and two informers.

Svensk Juristpartner HB bedriver sedan våren 2006 juridisk rådgivning via sin webbplats. Där kan allmänheten ställa frågor om juridik och få dem besvarade av ett antal juriststudenter. Alla frågor publiceras sedan anonymt på webbplatsen så att fler personer än frågeställaren kan ta del av informationen. Då mängden inkomna frågor ökat markant, har behovet av en mer avancerad webbplats växt fram.Uppgiften har varit att skapa en ny webbplats åt Juristpartner. Genom att införa kopplingar till en databas har hanteringen av frågor och svar förbättrats.
