Undersökningens syfte är att undersöka och jämföra hur staten har betraktat den manliga homosexualiteten i relation till den rådande maskulina hegemonin under tidsperioden 1933-1944. Det kommer ske genom att framhäva de homosexuella männens karaktärstecken, d.v.s. utmärkande egenskaper, kännetecken och beteenden, d.v.s. vad som karaktäriserade männen i källmaterialet. I undersökningen synliggörs dokumentförfattarnas normer och värderingar i de skrivna orden.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur personer som definierar sig som ickeheterosexuella och som tidigare behandlats för ätstörning beskriver en eventuell heteronorm samt andra normer inom den behandling de genomgått. Uppsatsen syftar vidare till att undersöka hur tidigare patienter med en normbrytande sexuell identitet beskriver vårdpersonals bemötande kopplat till sexuell läggning. Materialinsamlingen genomfördes med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer med personer som definierar sig som icke-heterosexuella och som har behandlats för ätstörning. Materialet har analyserats med hjälp av Grounded theory. Studien belyser situationer där heteronormen har synliggjorts samt tillfällen där andra normativa förväntningar varit märkbara under ätstörningsbehandling. I studien behandlas även behovet hos intervjupersonerna att i efterhand förstå sin egen situation och placera in sig själv i ett större sammanhang utifrån normer och samhälleliga förväntningar.

This study demonstrates how norms and ideals about sexuality and gender expression are used in the TV-show The Walking Dead. An intermediate study is made on the comic books? two same sex couples as they are compared to how they are represented in the TV-show. Tara Chambler and Alisha, a same sex couple who only exist in the TV-show, not in the comic books, are also analysed. Queer theory and an intersectional perspective are used to discover how different power asymmetries are connected to each other through an active interplay.

This paper is based on Bowlby's attachment theory in the exploration of Christian pastoral care literature. Kirkpatrick and Granqvist account for the majority of previous research on the subject, however, not related to counselling or counselling literature. The selected pastoral literature, which is three books by each author: Liselotte J Andersson and Margareta Melin provide several possible associations with attachment theory. In the process, nonetheless, more literature has been studied than those reported here. This paper aims to investigate whether a relationship with God is given as an attachment relationship of the selected pastoral literature.

The purpose of this thesis is to study how homosexuals and homosexuality were represented in the press during the trials against the Pentecostal pastor Åke Green, and to what kind of social representations and narratives these representations can be related.Using critical discourse analysis and theories about the differentiation between in- and outgroups I try to unveil implicit meanings and attitudes towards gay people mainly at the local text level. The material consists of articles in Ölandsbladet and Dagens Nyheter that were produced before, during and after the trials.The analysis suggests that homosexuals are construed as a deviant outgroup and that the majority, the ingroup, is presented as an essentially heterosexual, tolerant community. Homosexuality is wrong and heterosexuality is the right way of living. Homosexuals, in terms of group lobbyism, are construed as an enemy, a threat, against Western ideals such as family values and freedom of speech. They indirectly become a threat to Swedish democracy.

I arbetet undersöker jag de diskurser som asexualitet - utifrån en kontext som menaspåtala och kritisera heteronormativa antaganden - inträder i. Genom en ständigtnärvarande disciplinering görs asexualitet till ett föremål för tal, och därmed föremålför diskurser. Utifrån villkor och antaganden om var och hur ?rätt? tal formuleras görsasexualitet till ett motsägelsefullt element att ordna in i framförandet av identitet.Asexualitet förhandlas i materialet gentemot exempelvis medicinska,psykologiska och sociala effekter. Genom fortlöpande diskursiva erkännanden ochmisskännanden konstrueras ?de asexuella? som autentiska individer med en konstantoch stabil livshistoria.

Sweden has an active and growing culture of feminist comic book artists that use comedy as a mean of disseminating political ideas and critic. In this essay I do a reparative reading of Sara Granér?s comic book All I Want for Christmas is planekonomi in order to find out if it advocates alternative orders and/or ways of expression. By exploring what the comic book does to me as a reader and how, using the term ?skev? ? a hybrid of queer that examines normativity not strictly tied to sexuality ? and gulesque theory ? a mix of feminism, cuteness, the grotesque and riot grrrl ?, I show that the comic book, through the use of comedy, works as a trojan My Little Pony, reclaiming the girly franchise, while challenging several so-called dichotomies, such as: femininity/masculinity; youth/adult; high art/kitsch.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine the information needs of gay, lesbian and bisexual adolescents? when they are coming out. I also examine what kind of information they seek and where they might find this information. The purpose is also to examine what role the public or school library plays. The study is conducted through qualitative interviews with gay, lesbian and bisexual adolescents?.

In 2009 transgendered persons were included in the Swedish law against discrimination. Prior to the inclusion a commission made an investigation of the necessity of such change in the law and how it could be designed. This essay focuses on the discourses regarding gender that appear in the law and the report written by the commission. Using theories by Judith Butler and discourse analysis inspired by Norman Fairclough it identifies two main discourses regarding gender: a two gender discourse and a queer discourse. The two discourses meet in the studied material in an antagonistic way, a conflict that is solved by separating the two and making one part of the law focus on gender and one on transgender.

The aim of this paper is to compare and analyze Eugene O?Neill?s play Long Day?s Journey into Night with Lars Noréns Natten är dagens mor (Night is Mother to the Day). The gender and power structures, as well as the characters in the two plays are analyzed. The main focus of the analysis is on masculinities, and therefore on the brother to brother relationships in the dramas. The presence of ?queer leakage? (as defined by prof.

LGBT people, in Uganda, have since the colonial time been in a vulnerable situation. When the President signed the ?Anti-Homosexuality Act? into law 2014 all forms of same-sex relationships became criminalized. The time after the law passed have been characterized by an increased homophobia and further violence against LGBT people. These are seen as deviants since they do not live according to the social norms, that the right thing to be is heterosexual.

Den här uppsatsen handlar om den bild av muslimer och den islamska kulturen som skildras i läroböcker inom samhällskunskap för gymnasieskolan. Undersökningen är en kvalitativ textanalys kombinerat med en analys av de bilder och bildtexter som skildrar muslimer, jämfört med bilder som skildrar det svenska samhället. I undersökningen ingår även en analys av läroplanen för de frivilliga skolformerna, Lpf 94. Där diskuteras de delar som bland annat talar om förståelse och respekt för andra folk och kulturer, och att ingen i skolan skall utsättas för diskriminering på grund av religion eller annan trosuppfattning, och hur de läroböcker som analyseras lever upp till dessa skrivningar. Lpf 94 behandlas även utifrån den kluvenhet som finns på grund av de skrivningar som bland annat talar om förmedlandet av en kristen etik och svensk kultur. Sammanfattningsvis tycks det i dessa läroböcker finnas ett visst sätt att uttrycka sig om muslimer och muslimsk kultur och att det finns mönster i vilka bilder som väljs ut för att porträttera dessa.

This is a qualitative study about how young men in the age of 16-18 years can construct their masculinity. How do these young men describe a ?real man?? What are their thoughts about themselves as adults? The purpose of this study includes a gender perspective in surroundings that cope with the sport football. To answer this study, six young men in the age of 16-18 years, whom are active football players in different levels, have been interviewed. The findings showed that the young men seemed to construct their masculinity in cooperation with the surroundings and the nearest family members seemed to have a very strong influence of the boy?s development to become a man.

The purpose of this study is to examine discussions held by politicians and experts concerning the concepts Christian ethics and western humanism. I will examine the argumentation for and against the concepts Christian ethics and western humanism, which finally ended in a resolution of using these concepts in the curriculum Lpo/Lpf 94. In this study I am using a qualitative method to examine how different opinions and views are expressed in two different committee reports, initiated by the Ministry of Education, as well as protocols from the debate in the Swedish Parliament.I will attempt to elucidate the political views of these concepts, which will become an integral part of the base of values in the curriculum. Results show that the politicians are unanimous regarding the content itself, but disagree of the thought of establishing the base of values in Christian ethics. But the discussion is ambiguous because the opinion of the politicians is that the concepts, especially Christian ethics, stand for general human values.
