Vi startade vår studie med en vilja att ta reda på hur tidningsföretagen ska göra för att hantera förändringsprocessen som sker inom tidningsbranschen just nu. Upplagorna för papperstidningarna sjunker och många tidningar tvingas säga upp personal för att finansiera verksamheten. Fler och fler tidningsföretag har även börjat införa olika sätt att ta betalt för de digitala nyheterna på internet som ett försök att ordna upp den försämrade ekonomin. Det aktuella ämnet har väckt många frågor hos oss. Är papperstidningen en rest från gamla tider som snart kommer ersättas helt av de digitala nyheterna? Och hur ska det digitala i så fall kunna finansiera tidningarna när läsarna är vana att få sina digitala nyheter gratis?Vi har studerat ämnet genom en kvantitativ studie där vi med en enkät frågat personer mellan 25-45 år om deras vanor och syn på nyheter och nyhetsmedier.

In late winter reindeer rub their antlers against young trees. The aim of this study was to quantify those damages. There are few legally protected gardens in Sweden, and those that are protected are mainly from the 17th and 18th centuries. All time periods have the same value and more modern gardens therefore needs to be protected. Evaluating parks is, however, complicated since it do not exist any methods. One environment from the 1960?s that has not been protected is Televerket in Farsta, Stockholm. The facility has been classified as worthy of preservation by Stockholm City Museum and has received the Kasper Salin Prize.

Most descriptions of stereotypic behaviours have in common that these repetitive behaviours only has been observed in captive animals and therefore it has been proposed that stereotypies exist because we house animals in environments that are sub-optimal to them. Some scientists claim that performance of stereotypies in itself decreases the animal's welfare due to costs in time, energy and health and a poorer quality of life. Other scientists assert that individuals performing stereotypies may have a better welfare compared to the rest of the animals in the same environment, since these individuals have developed strategies to cope with stress. Studies have estimated the prevalence of abnormal behaviours in horses to 18-30 % of the population. Several studies on cribbing have revealed a prevalence of 4-5 %, although some results indicate that more than 10 % of the horse population performs this stereotypy.

Various problems with nail disorders have been noticed in the Swedish population of Giant Schnauzer, but the frequencies of these problems are unknown. This could be due to the fact that bad nail quality has several differential diagnoses and lack of diagnostic criteria and diagnostic codes for nail disorders. The main purpose of this study is to review different types of claw defects and diseases of the nail bed in dogs, and to classify and evaluate the proportions in the Swedish Giant Schnauzer population. Some of the customers have a low delivery frequency and small amounts of goods that they therefore have not been fully analyzed in this report.

Cycle time has a direct influence on number of returnable crates needed and therefore a crucial parameter for cost structure and pricing of the user fec in the pool system.For providing the growing market, number of crates has to increase as well as the utilization of existing crates. To accomplish this aim, cycle time for the whole supply chain has to be fully unravelled and understand.The purpose is to map cycle time and stock movements, to see how, where and when crates are being used in the supply chain. The goal is to make a method of cycle time calculation, together with suggestions of improving the pool system and decrease cycle time.The study has been a combination of qualitative and quantitative research and comprises the three biggest wholesalers in Sweden; ICA, Coop and Axfood. Furthermore have 65 grocery shops, connected to the wholesalers, been investigated and mapped.The study has come to a conclusion that cycle time for an average returnable crate is 19 days. The full-size and half-size crates have a bit longer cycle time, 21-22 days, while Dual Height-crates and shallow haif-size crates have 17-18 days.
