Skogsbrukets framtida arbetskraftsförsörjning : skogsmaskinföraryrkets attraktionskraft
The scarcity of qualified forest machine operators as well as the increased competition for competent machine operators among others from the mining industry in Norrland, were the reasons to investigate what attracts and what deters active and potential forest machine operators to the occupation. An interview study was conducted among four Groups with four persons in each group. The Groups were students in year 1 and 3 respectively at a forestry school at upper secondary school level as well as employees of a forest company and employees of contractors. The majority of all respondents were of the opinion that their interests in machines had been important for the choice of occupation. But for the active machine operators both the interest in the forest and their interest for machines have had importance for choosing this occupation.
Svårigheter i inlärning av svenska som andraspråk
The purpose of this essay was to investigate whether speakers of different languages find different things difficult when learning Swedish. The results showed that the first language was not the only aspect that mattered when it comes to what difficulties the learners face. Also individual differences and the level the learner has reached in the language are important to consider. However, some differences between the Groups investigated surfaced and this shows that the first language can infact effect what difficulties the learners will encounter. .

The primary purpose of this essay is to study and describe how the concept of ?ethnicity? is introduced, defined and constructed at the Universities of Social Work Education through the perspectives of students attending and teachers/researchers currently employed at the University of Gothenburg. Also, this study attempts to describe what differences there are between the two Groups and how these are expressed. The theoretical perspectives which we have used to analyse the empirical data are social constructivism and postcolonial theories. We have applied a qualitative method based on four interviews with teachers/researchers and two focus group interviews with 14 students.

Furthermore we chose to look at the similarities and differences between the experiences on the basis of gender, race/ethnic Groups and class. We chose to use a qualitative research method and to be inspired by life stories. We used a semi-structured interview guide and interviewed six people between 70 and 89 years.
Koncerninterna Transaktioner i Kommunala Företagskoncerner : Fallet Linköpings Stadshus
Background: In newspaper articles, we can nowadays read headlines as"Stop the robbing!"and"They pay extra tax through rent". A column in Göteborgsposten describes enormous amounts of money, pouring between municipal companies. Numerous of local newspapers have started to pay attention to their municipal companies and the transfer of profits from municipal housing enterprises and electric power companies. What are upsetting these journalists then? Both Hyresgästföreningen (The Swedish tenants? association) and Boverket (The Swedish National Housing Board) indicate that the fiscal purpose of transactions within the group no longer is primary for municipalities.
Lärcentrum i biblioteket, möjligheter och utmaningar. Tre aktörsgruppers syn på lärcentrum och dess samverkan med biblioteket
The aim of this thesis is to investigate the points of view of three Groups of actors about their local learning center and its collaboration with the library. By interviewing Groups of actors from the municipal sector, the library staff and students, I aim to investigate their associations of the learning centre, what kind of services it should offer, and how they understand the role of the library staff in specific collaboration between the public library and the adult education administration. The study design is based on Gunnar Grepperud?s and Terje Thomsen?s three missions for a local learning centre; the mission of a broker, a meeting place and a motivator. I also use Carol Kuhlthau?s levels of mediation as an approach to investigate how the actors want the library staff to work in relation to the centre.
Marknaden för skogsvårdstjänster : en undersökning bland privata markägare inom en region i Värmland
This work broadly illuminates the conditions for increasing the commissions of forestry services within the whole, or parts of, the western regions of Stora Enso?s operating area. Through a questionnaire, a survey was made examining whether the owners of the forests themselves do the forestry on their woodlands. This foremost concerns the pre-commercial thinning, but also planting and soil scarification. The survey also shows who are buying the most part of their forestry services and who are carrying it out themselves.

?Man ska vara nyfiken? Lärares syn på elevers frågor i den naturvetenskapliga undervisningen
Abstract Students' questions play an important role in both teaching and learning science. However, in a traditional classroom, the teacher is the center of attention and poses questions to which students answer. The students seldom ask questions to which the teacher responds. The purpose of this paper is to examine teachers' attitudes towards student questions. This paper will also explore teachers? views on the issues related to students? questions for science education.
MELLANRADERNAOCH MELLAN SPR?KEN DIGLOSSI, SVENSKA OCH SPR?K?VERF?RING I ARABISKTALANDE ELEVERS SKRIVANDE P? MSA
This study investigates how Arabic-speaking students in Sweden use syntax and prepositions
in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), and how their writing is influenced by Swedish grammar
and Arabic dialects. The focus is on identifying systematic patterns of cross-linguistic influence
and variation between different Groups of learners.
The data consists of written translations by 30 students in grades 7?9 who receive mother
tongue instruction in Arabic. All students translated the same Swedish source text into MSA,
and the translations were analysed with attention to syntactic structures and the use of
prepositions.
The theoretical framework draws on transfer theory, interlanguage theory, and the
interdependence hypothesis, complemented by perspectives on multilingualism and diglossia.
These frameworks make it possible to capture both external influences from Swedish and
Arabic dialects, as well as internal processes of second language development.

Alla ska va med... : En essä om storarbetslag, modularbete och dess förutsättningar och konsekvenser
I begin my essay with a story that illustrates how a preschool activity organized on a modular work can be perceived. I describe how the environment has been rebuilt and modified to accommodate one large group of children instead of two smaller Groups as before. Management´s justification for the change is that it is carried out to give the children better conditions for their learning, but my understanding is that it also hampers preschool-teachers´ abilities to implement their assignment.I try to understand what benefits module work by examining what well-known researchers believe is important for children´s learning in environmental and preschool teacher´s importance. When I use what I have learned to analyze my story, my opinion is that the change of the preschool activity not have just a positive impact but also entails that preschool teachers find it difficult to be present and in interaction with the children as several well-known researchers notes is important for children´s learning. I discuss how a large and rich environment at the same time can be perceived as incalculable for teachers, which can result in not all of the children being paid attention to in the preschool activity.
Havremalt : relansering av en hälsokostprodukt
Launching and marketing a health food product is associated with larger problems than a launch of a traditional food product. There are several sales channels that can be used for a health food product, for example the product can be sold as a traditional food product, natural health food product or as a prescription drug. A smaller company can however experience problems while launching its product as a prescription drug because of the large costs associated with this particular sales channel. There is often no other alternative than to launch the product as a traditional food product, this can however create other problems because of the existing regulations on what can and cannot be mentioned in the marketing of a health food product. The limited amount of information about the product that can be enclosed together with it makes it hard for a company to differentiate and position it on the market.
