Detta är en kvalitativ studie om slöjans roll för muslimska kvinnors identitetskapande. Vårt syfte var att ta reda på om det fanns någon relation mellan slöjan och de upplevda identiteterna samt om kvinnor i slöja är begränsade i samhället. Studien bygger på information från tio kvinnor, vilka alla är praktiserande muslimer. Några av dessa kvinnor har valt att inte bära någon slöja medan andra bär huvudbonad av olika slag. I vårt material framgår det att de kvinnor som bär heltäckande klädsel (hjilbab och niqab) ger uttryck för att ha en stark identitet som muslim, vilken går före alla andra identiteter.

Inledning: Skatteundandraganden i kontantbranschen har sedan länge varit ett känt problem för skatteverket vilket också leder till en snedvriden konkurrens. En ny lag, kassaregisterlagen, ska undvika skattefusk och illojal konkurrens. De flesta inom kontantbranschen inkluderas i lagen med få undantag så som torghandel. Borde även torghandeln omfattas av lagen? Borde klädbranschen kanske undantagas från lagen? Kommer lagen att vara slagkraftig i att stävja skattefusk?Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka och analysera kassaregisterlagens slagkraft samt även lagens nödvändighet i klädbranschen och torghandeln.Metod: En kvalitativ forskningsmetod ligger till grund för undersökningen där empiri studeras i form av insamlad information och intervjumaterial.

Vårt moderna samhälle är idag beroende av dagliga transporter som både är en stor kostnad för producerande företag och dessutom har en stor miljöpåverkan. Främst eftersom klimatfrågan idag debatteras flitigt men också för att det finns stora incitament för företagen att minska sina transportkostnader kommer vi, med största sannolikhet att se stora effektiviseringar av denna bransch inom en snar framtid. I detta arbete behandlas därför i vilken utsträckning två välkända teorier, Lean och Supply Chain Management, kan användas för att optimera transporterna främst vad gäller kostnad och miljöpåverkan. Efter att ha analyserat ett flertal rapporter som behandlat dagens transporter, transporttyper av olika slag och pågående miljöregleringar samt intervjuer med två svenska industribolag har vi kommit fram till att dessa två teorier inte lämpar sig i alla situationer. Lönsamheten i användandet av dessa två teorier beror på vilken teknisk grad företagets produkter har samt hur stor företagens produktion är.

The main purpose with this study was to investigate whether the tree growth differs or not in prescribed burnt areas compared to mechanically scarified. Together with the result from the main purpose, answers of whether it's possible or not to combine nature conservation with tree production in prescribed burnt areas was presented. In these areas the regeneration were analyzed to see if there was enough tree plants to comply with the Swedish Forestry Act regulations terms for approved regeneration. A field survey was conducted at 6 objects, three objects for prescribed burning and three for mechanically scarification. All objects were planted within the same year.

Internet är idag en mötesplats för personer som söker kontakt med andra människor. Men den ökade Internetanvändningen har även fört med sig en del negativa sidor. Sexuell grooming är något som har ökat i och med att Internet används i större utsträckning av både vuxna och barn. Grooming är ett begrepp som innebär att en vuxen person etablerar en kontakt med ett barn för att därefter kunna begå sexuella övergrepp på det barn som man har etablerat kontakten med.Denna uppsats utreder företeelsens förekomst och en heltäckande analys görs av det nya brottet. För att åstadkomma detta görs en genomgång av internationellrättsliga dokument som finns till skydd för barn.

This thesis will describe the redesign of the manure fork SverigeGrepen. The productis available for purchase in Scandinavia and and parts of the rest of Europe.The product is available in stores but the companys goal is to start distribute it overthe internet. A problem today with a purchase over the internet is that the costumerhas to pay a high shipping-fee due to the products unique form. The long handlecontributes to the high shipping-fee which makes it hard to attract costumers topurchase the product online. Deficiencies have been found at the manure forks basketand needs to be examined.

By examine cremated remains from graves dated to late Iron Age I wanted to find out what sorts of animals were placed in the graves. But also to see if the animal sacrifices had any connection to the Old Norse religion. The osteological material that were analysed were from both cremated humans and animals and had been dated to Viking Age. The material is from burial ground 59 at Laxare, Boge parish on Gotland. In addition to the human remains, the material contains bones from horse, cattle, sheep/goat, pig, dog, cat, bear, birds and fish.

Med hjälp av en enkätundersökning undersöks några av de demografiska och ekonomiska faktorer som utmärker en remittör, vilka kanaler för överföringar som används och med vilken frekvens som pengar skickas till utlandet. Data samlades in genom en enkät tillgänglig på Internet under två månaders tid under hösten 2007 och målgruppen var utlandsfödda och senare generationers invandrare i Sverige. För att nå ut till målgruppen kontaktades ett antal invandrarorganisationer och andra organisationer som organiserar utlandsfödda. Sex grupper valde att delta och antalet svarande är begränsat vilket minskar generaliseringsmöjligheterna. Det insamlade datamaterialet analyseras med hjälp av tabellanalys och regressionsanalys.

I en studie som kan vara den första i Sverige i sitt slag har vuxna testpersoner med och utan synnedsättning fått lyssna till texter som lästs upp med antingen unit selection-syntesen Folke eller en mänsklig röst. Genom förståelsefrågor till varje text har det undersökts om en syntetisk uppläsning av sammanhängande text ger en sämre förståelse än en mänsklig uppläsning. Genom testet har också faktorer som ansträngning samt korrelation med längd, svårighetsgrad och vana av syntetiskt tal undersökts. Testet visar att för relativt enkla texter som inte är längre än ca 700 ord eller inte har en uppläsningstid på mer än ca fem minuter så ger en syntetisk uppläsning inte någon påvisbar försämring i förståelse. Resultat och analys visar dock att det vid längre texter än så kan finnas en skillnad i förståelse mellan de två uppläsningssätten samt att det kan finnas en korrelation med textens längd och svårighetsgrad.

Since several rules of law have a consideration of age, the Swedish labor law collides in many ways with the prohibition of age discrimination. The employment directives of EU were implemented in the member countries after the shift of the millennium. Sweden was the last member to introduce age as a ground of discrimination in its legislation. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate whether the Swedish regulations, regarding age discrimination and its application, is compatible with the EU.  The aim is also to investigate what is required to exclude the prohibition of age discrimination. The labor law provisions concerning the retirement age given in 32 a and 33 §§ LAS, priority rules according to 22 § LAS and the collectively agreed holiday benefit, which is regulated according to a worker's age, is to be investigated to see if they actually qualify for the exclusion of the prohibition against age discrimination. Furthermore, the paper intends to describe if the Swedish legislation has taken account of the research available on the subject of "age" and ?age discrimination?.

Many perceive a boom in nostalgia and what is retro, especially within the marketing discipline. This thesis studies how nostalgia functions in the advertising context and aims to shed light on which effects there are from nostalgia evoking communication, what connections there are with other important factors as well as aspires to develop the understanding of the underlying psychological aspects and the emotional bonds to events (as nostalgia evoking stimuli in the thesis), which pave the ground for nostalgic emotions. Point of origin has been classical measures of communication effects and models of connections and causality and to these important factors have been added. Results show clear connections and correlations between nostalgia and positive communication effects, even with control for other factors that may interfere. However, the results show that some factors have moderating effects that should be important to take into consideration, namely how well the brand and the event in the ad are perceived to fit the advertising context.

This paper includes astudy of the mutual fund market investors during a selected timeperiod. The reader is given a descriptive picture of how people in different age groups have  acted  in  conjunction  with  the  last  major  financial  crisis.  It  has  been  studied whether people in the different age categories have saved,purchased or sold during this time  period  based  on  theories  and  analytic  material  from  one  of  the  largest  fund operators in Sweden. The result enlightens people?s activity and risk appetite in relation to the fund market. The essay results in an explanation of the underlying cause of the behavior        of         the         people         in         the         different         age         categories.The paper assumes that the market is cyclical and that more crises will occur in the future.

Hör slöjan hemma i en demokratisk stat? Det är inte helt lätt att avgöra eftersom slöjbruket beror på så många olika faktorer. I denna uppsats presenteras bakgrundsfakta om kvinnan i det muslimska samhället, jämställdheten, Islam och demokrati och slöjan i världen. Vad gäller slöjan så är det i grund och botten en sedvänja som inte direkt har med islam att göra.  Trots det så väljer många kvinnor att bära den som en symbol för sin religion.
