Avsaknaden av relevanta motiv : en studie av fastighetsförvärv gjorda av privata fastighetsägare från kommunala bostadsföretag
Syfte: Gällande förvärv av kommunala hyresrätter har de flesta diskussioner som uppmärksammats, enligt vår uppfattning, rört ombild¬ningen från hyresrätt till bostadsrätt. Det är även det som teoretiskt finns beskrivet. Därför anser vi att vår studie kan bidra till att belysa fenomenet och öka vetskapen, om att hyres¬rätterna kan byta ägare och de facto byter ägare utan att upplåtelseformen ändras. Vårt syfte är därför att studera hur fastighetsköp gjorda av privata fastighets¬ägare från kommunala fastighetsföretag går till.Metod: Vi har i vår uppsats delat hermeneutikernas synsätt då vi är medvetna om att vår inställning och tolkning av studien kommer att påverka vårt resultat. Vidare har vi tillämpat ett kvalitativt tillvägagångssätt där vår studie grundar sig på intervjuer.
Etableringsstrategier för spannmål : en studie av investeringsbeslut i maskinsystem
In order to produce grain in an economically rational manner numerous decisions have to be made. One of these decisions is what tillage system to use. The cost of the tillage system is a large part of the total cost in grain production. Different tillage systems result in different distribution of fixed costs, operating costs and timeliness costs. The price of the produced grain and cost of inputs also affect the best way to produce grain.

Under de senaste tio åren har ett nytt segment öppnats på fastighetsmarknaden,nämligen marknaden för samhällsfastigheter. Politiska beslut från tidigt 90-tal hargjort det möjligt för privata aktörer att etablera friskolor och äldreboenden.Reformerna har möjliggjort att även investera i verksamheternas lokaler. Vid dessaförvärv brukar ett relativt långt hyreskontrakt medfölja och det finns ett starktsamband mellan den förhandlade hyran och försäljningspriset. När förvärvet ärgenomfört och kontraktet sedan löper ut kan det bli problematiskt att avgöra vilkennivå den nya hyran bör ligga på.Hyresgästens betalningsförmåga är en central del i analyserna i denna uppsats.Uträkningen av kommunens så kallade skolpeng respektive omsorgspeng kartläggsför att dra slutsatser om vilka marginaler respektive part har att förhålla sig till och hurdet påverkar den förväntade hyran.I denna uppsats diskuterar vi också huruvida hyressättningen av samhällsfastigheterkan återkopplas till olika kombinationer av hyresrelationer. Incitament till att ta ut enviss hyra kan variera beroende på fastighetsägarens syfte med innehavet.

Energy and environmental demands regarding buildings have become an increasinglydiscussed topic, both in Sweden and in Europe as a whole. The general trend indicatesthat greater efforts are being put into the energy efficiency of the built environment.There are already numerous examples of houses with a low energy demand, and thenumber of low energy buildings is constantly growing.At the time being, the maximum level for energy demands for housing in Stockholm is110 kWh/m2year, but as soon as next year the limit will be changed to 90. The Swedishagency Energimyndigheten is currently conducting a project to interpret the EU Directiveon the so-called Nearly zero energy buildings, and the preliminary results indicate thatthe level of requirements for purchased energy will end up with about 55 kWh / m2year,which is in line withtoday?s recommendationsfound in FEBY's Kravspecifikation förPassivhus.Starting with a low-energy house in Henriksdalshamnen in Stockholm, we have analyzedvarious energy-efficiency measures and their influence on power and energy needs. Thefinancial aspects associated with the measures have been studied using a model of lifecycle costs.The measures were initially studied individually to give an idea of how much impact theyeach had.
Information till mjölkföretaget : vilken information behövs och hur bör den utformas när gården ska ta investeringsbeslut?
The fast developments in information and data technology during the recent years have accentuated the need for the business manager to interpret and act on information from the surrounding environment. Today we know little about what information is really used in the unique decision-making. Further, little is known about how information should be designed to fit people with a more intuitive approach to interpreting information. This study is therefore about the difference between peoples approach to interpreting information and how information should be designed to fit those with a more intuitive approach to interpreting information. The application is made to dairy farms in Sweden.
The literature review describes the strategic leadership, the decision-making process and the intuitive and the analytic thinking.
Ombyggnation av ett stall för bundna mjölkkor till boxsystem för rekryteringskvigor
To reconstruct a building is a long-term investment for farmers and it is important that people with different qualifications are involved at an early stage for making the system adapted to the animals as well the animal keeper. Therefore, ethologists who can contribute with their expertise are needed to design the system and get it to function well for the animals.A Swedish farmer who planned to rebuild her stall for tied dairy cattle to a loose-housing system for recruitment heifers for milk production asked me as an ethologist to find a system which can be fit to her existing tie-stall barn for 30 dairy cows, considering the animal needs in terms of movement, social interactions and play behaviors, and to theoretically compare the system with other systems with respect to the behaviors mentioned.The theoretical comparison between different systems was made through a scientific literature review.In agreement with the animal keeper I set out to fit a system with feeding cubicles, a system with cubicles and a system with deep straw bedding to the barn. After measurements were taken and preliminary drawings were outlined it was found that only the feeding cubicle system was possible to fit to the barn.The space provided will limit the animals to perform some playing behaviors. To decrease aggressive interactions between animals even thought a limiting area it is possible to provide partitions between resources animals compete around to prevent that more than one animal can get success to the resource at a particular place at one time. To increase the animal movement in the system the water trays were moved to the outer wall instead of kept in contact with the stalls.Although this report provides guidelines for rebuilding, other competences regarding building construction and a pre-test of the suggested building solution according to Swedish legislation are needed before the rebuilding can start.The results are directed mainly to the owner of the barn, but the literature review can be used by other cattle farmers and might bring increased understanding of the possible effects of different building solution on the animals..
Vad påverkar en aktieanalystillförlitlighet? : En kvantitativ studie om relationen mellan tillförlitligheteni en aktieanalys och dess innehåll.
A debate in finance is whether a random investment gives the same return as carefully choose and valuing an amount of shares to invest in. Stock valuating Stock valuation is often done by fundamental valuation models, based on the company's underlying character, which tries to put a correct price on the stock. Today there are several different valuation models that can be used for this purpose. Since valuation models are only mathematical, equity research is underpinned by more subjective assessments about the company and its future.The purpose with this thesis is to describe which valuation models that are used by professional stock analysts, but also to see if the reliability on the equity research is affected by the used model to valuing the company. Furthermore, we want to see if the job that?s been done to understand the company, measured by the equity research quality, impact the reliability on the equity research.In this thesis, we have, to achieve our purpose, conducted a quantitative content analysis of 164 equity research done by professional analysts at firms listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. With basis in previous research, we have developed a method for determining the valuation model that is used in the equity research, the reliability on the equity research and a framework for assessing the quality of the equity research.In the theoretical framework the valuation models involved in our study are described, previous research on the reliability on the equity research and their practical use.

This bachelor essay is divided into two parts, the first being a construction of a single-familyhouse and the second an in-depth study of five different isolation materials, analysed from anenergy perspective.The first part, the construction of the single-family house, has been created from knowledgeacquired during three years of studying at KTH Royal institute of Technology in Stockholm, inthe program Architecture and the Built Environment. The constructed house is a one-floorhouse of 137m2with façade plaster, situated in Borlänge, Sweden. The house has a wooden framewhich is built on a on sight cast concrete foundation, on the ground. The house?s roof is a gableroof, which has an angle of 24 degrees.
Analysis of eucalyptus plantations on the Iberian Peninsula
This thesis analyses the prerequisites, profitability and competitiveness of eucalyptus plantation on the Iberian Peninsula and in Brazil. The thesis has a macro perspective and analyses a typical hectare of eucalyptus in each studied region.
A survey methodology was used as a strategy to cover a broad perspective using expert respondents.
The regions studied on the Iberian Peninsula were the ones found suitable for eucalyptus plantations from an economic point of view. The studied regions were Huelva in the South West of Spain, Galicia in the North West of Spain and Portugal.
Hur skiljer sig investeringsbeteendet mellan Generation X och Generation Y? : en kvantitativ studie om skillnaderna mellan Generationerna X och Y vid investeringsbeslut
Att veta hur man som individ bör handla och hur man egentligen gör, har alltid förbryllat forskare. Då generationer kommer och går, är det alltid en fråga i hur dessa generationer ser på saker och ting, som i vårt fall, investeringsbeteendet.Tidigare studier har påvisat hur generation X (1965-1979) och generation Y (1980-1995) bör bete sig då generationerna har olika kännetecken i beteende. Det har även forskats mycket om vilka kognitiva egenskaper hos en individ som påverkar investeringsbeteendet.Syftet med uppsatsen är att förklara om det finns någon skillnad mellan de olika generationerna, och i så fall, vad detta kan bero på. För att genomföra denna uppsats har en positivistisk forskningsfilosofi valts, i kombination med en deduktiv ansats och en kvantitativ metod.Uppsatsen kunde indikera att det i helhet inte fanns någon signifikant skillnad mellan de olika generationerna vid utfrågning av de olika beteende mönstren. Dock var det diverse faktorer som det skiljde sig åt mellan generationerna som inkomstnivå, utbildningsnivå och strategi vid val av investering.
GPS- & GIS-användning i drivningsprocessen hos Stora Enso SKog AB :
GPS (Global Positioning system) and GIS (Geographical information system) has been used for planning and inventory in the forest sector for more than ten years. The last years the development has come to equip harvesters and forwarders with GPS and GIS (GIT).
The goal with this study was to reach a basis for decision, how Stora Enso Skog should continue its investment in GPS and GIS in harvesters and forwarders. To reach this basis for decision, possible advantages and benefits, disadvantages and problems in the harvesting process was evaluated. The study was made as an interview study with four harvesting managers and ten machine teams. To secure the quality of the results an interview questionnaire was made before the interviews were done.
The results showed that GIT will make the harvesting managers work easier.

Safety in the construction industry has become a question of top priority in recent years. Despite a massive investment of time, money and knowledge, the occur-rence of fatal accidents in Sweden alone is around one a month.The purpose of this study is therefore to improve the safety on the construction site. By an examination of the role of the safety agents and their cooperation with the construction workers and supervisors as well as examine how safety agents can improve safety on the construction site, which is the goal of the study.Four questions were formulated based on the purpose and the goal of the study.The methods used to answer the questions were a questionnaire survey, multiple interviews, a literature review and a document analysis.The report describes the safety agent?s role as a complex one with many different tasks. The role of the safety agents is regulated in the health and safety law, but it can sometimes be difficult to interpret and the agents can therefore interpret their role differently.

This master?s thesis was performed during the fall of 2006 at Cloetta Fazer AB in Ljungsbro. Cloetta Fazer is the market leader in Scandinavia of manufacturing confectionary and chocolates. The purpose of the project has been to identify causes that impact the quantity of waste in production as well as a cost/benefit analysis of the solutions that can reduce the problem of production waste.The work includes four production lines that are individually designed depending on what kind of product that are produced on the line. By using qualitative and quantitative methods such as focus groups, interviews and observations data has been collected.
Aktieanalytikers rekommendationer:värdet av revideringar på de nordiska marknaderna
Bakgrund: För att avgöra huruvida aktieanalytiker som grupp betraktat tillför värde för investerare måste frågan ställas om det är lönsamt att följa analytikernas konsensusrekommendationer. Ett problem med att följa dessa är att rekommendationerna som utgör konsensus kan förbli oförändrade under långa perioder vilket innebär att de vanligtvis blir mindre informativa med tiden. Studier som istället utvärderar värdet av reviderade rekommendationer har visat att det kan vara mer lönsamt att följa analytiker när de ändrar uppfattning om en aktie.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att utvärdera revideringar av aktieanalytikers rekommendationer på den nordiska marknaden och att analysera investeringsstrategier baserade på dessa som tar hänsyn till transaktionskostnaders inverkan på avkastningen.Genomförande: De reviderade rekommendationerna har utvärderats kvantitativt med data från Inquiry Financial för perioden 2006 ? 2009. Vi konstruerar sex portföljer för varje studerad marknad, där de olika portföljerna består av upp- respektive nedgraderade aktier med olika innehavsperioder för att testa huruvida revideringarna kan sägas vara informativa.Resultat: Resultaten visar att reviderade rekommendationer är informativa på flera av de studerade marknaderna, där aktiekurser fortsätter att stiga för uppgraderingar och sjunka för nedgraderingar flera månader efter att revideringen har skett.
