Vi har i denna uppsats undersökt hur Röda Korsets vision och den sociala gemenskapen påverkar engagemanget och motivationen hos en specifik grupp volontärer på mötesplatsen Kupan i Halmstad. Vi utgick ifrån en kvalitativansats i utformandet av uppsatsen, där vi genomförde kvalitativa intervjuer för insamlandet av vårt empiriska material. Detta analyserade vi sedan utifrån Philip Selznicks institutionalisering, Mats Alvessons organisationskultur, Randall Collins interaktionsritualer samt Thomas Scheffs sociala band. För att förstärka vår analys kopplade vi den till tidigare forskning utförda av Svedberg, von Essen och Jegermalm men även till Haski-Leventhal och Cnaans studie. Resultatet av vår studie visade att Röda Korset som organisation och dess värderingar påverkar den sociala gemenskapen, denna sociala gemenskap är ett grundläggande motiv för att volontärerna ska engagera sig inom Röda Korset..

The market offers more and more products that are claimed to have medicallypositive effects (like increased blood perfusion etc.) due to their magneticproperties. The objective of this study was to investigate if blankets containingpermanent (static) magnets have a greater impact on cutaneous blood circulationthan ordinary blankets without magnets. Eight standard bred horses were used in across-over study. The cutaneous temperature was presumed to reflect blood flowin the skin and therefore thermography and local thermistors were used to indicatechanges in circulation. Baseline values were registered before the blanket wasapplied.

The aim of this study is to study how sustainability policies are implemented and perceived in the operations of a Swedish fashion company. The fashion industry is affected by strict controls when it comes to transparency and reporting of sustainability efforts. This contributes to a strong focus on sustainability. The theoretical framework revolved around institutional theory where the phenomenas of decoupling and recoupling were central. A qualitative case study was conducted where interviews were the primary source of data.

Can the Danish "Aftalesystemet", a system with the intention to simplify the use of services within health care, be used in Sweden? This project has investigated the possibility by installing and testing the system and explored its functions to detect any eventual problems. Analyses were made of the system's graphical part and the underlying code to see in greater detail how the communication between units occurred, since no actual documentation of it existed. Discussions with the developers took place regarding how the current system works and how further development should continue. In order to test the system, a completely virtual environment was used.

Syfte: Att ta reda på förekomst av heteroforier och heterotropier hos hjälpsökande människor på en Vision for All-resa i Nicaragua.Metod: Efter en enkel subjektiv refraktion genomfördes covertest på både avstånd (fem meter) och nära (40 centimeter) med eventuell korrektion vid behov. 684 personer undersöktes i åldrarna 5-95 år. Eso- exo- och vertikalfori samt eso- exo- och vertikaltropi noterades liksom ortofori. Ingen mätning av deviationerna genomfördes.Resultat: 91 personer (13,3 %) hade en deviation vid avståndsfixation som framkom av covertestet. Exofori fanns hos 9,5 % och esofori hos 1,9 %.

Abstract The purpose with this essay is to get an understanding of how the christmascalender hasevolved throughout the history, and why its shape looks like it does. We have made ananalysis of the 21-centurys calendars to get a look on the content and tried to track a targetgroup. Which themes have characterized the 21-century and how can you put these in relationto earlier calendars? To get a greater insight in the design of the christmascalendar, we madean interview with SVT's Susanne Kvarforth. After this it came to our knowledge that they arelacking guidelines besides that their target group is 6-12 year olds.

Today most dosages used in horse medicine are based on studies in adult horses. Since there are differences between adult and neonatal horses with respect to different pharmacological parameters this can cause problems when administring drugs to neonatal foals. Neonatal sepsis is a common cause of morbidity and mortality in foals and aggressive antibiotic treatment is needed immediately when sepsis is suspected. In Sweden the combination of trimethoprim/sulphadiazine and bensylpenicillin is often used as the initial treatment. When administering drugs, interactions can occur between the drugs and endogenous substances.

Den här uppsatsen undersöker sambandet mellan en musikvideoprocess och endesignprocess samt vilka visuella teoretiska verktyg som finns att tillgå vid enbudskapsfokuserad musikvideo. För att ta reda på detta har vi gjort en introspektion avvår process av att producera en musikvideo åt en etablerad svensk artist. I arbetetpresenterar vi hela processen från första vision till de sista förberedelserna. Uppsatseninnehåller produktionsmaterial så som storyboard och inspelningsschema. Som stödtill vår produktionsprocess har vi sammanställt en modell som bygger på Löwgren ochStoltermans (2004) designprocess samt de budskapsfokuserade teoretiska visuellaverktygen (så som semiotik, sync points och musikanalys) som kan underlätta i just ensådan här process.

Det är ingen enkel process att ge sig in i en okänd framtid. Inom den fysiska planeringen är det betydelsefullt att göra långsiktiga studier och bedömningar som rör mark-, vatten- och naturresurser för att skapa en rimlig avvägning mellan olika anspråk på nyttjande och bevarande. Fysisk planering är till stor del en kommunal fråga, men samtidigt är det allt fler planeringsfrågor som behöver ses i ett regionalt, nationellt eller transnationell perspektiv. Det verkar vara hög tid för nationell framtid. De institutionella förutsättningarna som behövs för fysisk planering på en nationell nivå saknas i Sverige och något sammanhållet nationellt dokument har inte heller utarbetats.

The purpose of this study is to look at the line extensions of the Swedish dairy company Skånemejerier. We have chosen to focus on how trends in ecological products and Functional Food influence the line extensions. The competition in the food sector have made it harder for companies to be seen in the market area and the companies have to make their brands more visible. That is one of the reasons why companies work with line extensions. The study is based on a qualitative approach because we wanted to come closer to our subject in order to establish a greater understanding for the case itself.

Conflict prevention is a term which has gained much influence during the last decades. To prevent conflicts from occuring have both humanitarian and economic incentives as the cost for war are much greater than the cost of acting preventive. To act in this matter has been regarded a priority for the United Nations during several years, and the European Union have also expressed a wish of playing a more active part. The essay compares the actions taken by the international organisations in Macedonia, a country which headed toward a violent conflict. The UN acted through the mission UNPREDEP and the EU through the mission of Concordia.

Seventy-two working horses (they had been ridden with bit and bridle within the last two weeks) were examined in the oral cavity. Findings and status were noted. The horses were randomly chosen among individuals without clinical symptoms from the mouth and gastrointestinal system. The result showed that 93% of the horses had changes in the mucus membranes, 86% in the form of ulcerations. The P2 region was most commonly affected followed by wounds more caudally in the mouth (P3-M3 region).

The purpose of this study was to describe, understand and analyze the thought behind the perception amongst pedagogues´ on multicultural work in preschools, based on an intercultural perspective. In this study, I questioned the pedagogues´ view on the work in preschools that prepares children for a life in a multicultural society and also the way they describe the cultural challenges.The study was accomplished and questions were answered by studying current literature and previous research in the field. I also interviewed four pedagogues from two different preschools located in separate areas.This study shows that many opinions that pedagogues expressed in the interviews can be traced back to an ?us vs. them? perspective, in which your own culture, the Swedish one in this case, is the most critical and should receive the greatest attention in preschool.

och problem: Att utforma ekonomistyrningspaket (styrpaket) är mycket komplext,men viktigt för att överleva lågkonjunkturer och lyckas i dagens snabbt föränderliga ochkonkurrensutsatta miljö. Styrpaketets utgångspunkt är företagets vision och mission, vilka övrigadelar i styrpaketet på sikt ska bidra till att implementera. Vid utformning av styrpaket måste bådeinterna och externa faktorer beaktas, samtidigt som styrpaketets samtliga styrmedel måstesamordnas och användas på ett sätt som leder till måluppfyllelse. Ideala styrpaket leder alltså tillatt medarbetare agerar i enlighet med företagets mål. Dock skiljer sig det ideala styrpaket oftaifrån det faktiska, det vill säga så styrpaketet uppfattas och används i praktiken.Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att förklara uppkomsten till gap mellan ett idealt och faktisktstyrpaket, vilket kräver förståelse kring hur styrpaketet är anpassat efter situationsbaseradefaktorer, hur styrmedlen används i praktiken och hur styrpaketets nya och gamla styrmedel ärutformade och samordnade för att på sikt implementera vision och mission.Avgränsningar: Studien är avgränsad till att undersöka ett styrpaket inom ett affärsområde inomSKF.Metod: För att förklara uppkomsten till gap mellan ett idealt och faktiskt styrpaket behövde vistudera ett styrpaket på djupet, varför vi gjort en fallstudie baserad på sex kvalitativa intervjuer.För att identifiera gap har vi använt vår analysmodell som är baserad på befintlig teori, ochförklaringarna till gapens uppkomst har vi återfunnit i vår teoretiska referensram, eller direkt iempirin.Slutsats: Vi har identifierat tre huvudsakliga förklaringar till gapens uppkomst, varav två harpåverkats negativt utav lågkonjunkturen.

Ansvarstagande i företag har fått ökad uppmärksamhet i och med utvecklingen av begreppet Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Intressenter har idag större förväntningar på företags ekonomiska, sociala och miljömässiga ansvarstagande. Risken med CSR är att företag inte gör operationella bidrag mot samhällsproblem utan endast ser detta som ett sätt att öka sin vinst genom att förbättra företagets image. På senare tid har begreppet Socialt Entreprenörskap utvecklats där det främsta målet är det sociala och inte det ekonomiska. Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka hur representanter för elbolag yttrar de ekonomiska, sociala och miljömässiga ansvarstaganden i deras respektive verksamheten.
