This study reads the oeuvre of the NobelPrize winner Samuel Beckett (1906-1989) as being closely related to these certain traditions andconnotations of for example religion, satire, and speaking nonsense, in his frequent use of parrotsand their symbolic potentials, in his writing. I have written an experiential essay about my role as a preschool director and the important work decisions that I face. What is best for the child? That is something that I think is important to take into consideration.In the narrative, I describe how an induction occurs at my preschool. We use an "old" tried and true method which spans two to three weeks, which I believe is best for children under the age of two. The aim of this essay is to answer the question of how, and in what ways Martina Bigert?s and Maria Thulin?s picture Allt om min buske (literally, All about my bush) is queer. Inspired by Judith Butler?s idea of the heterosexual matrix, and Michel Foucault?s discourse I attempt to investigate how sex and sexuality are described in relation to heteronormativity, and if Allt om min buske is either norm-breaking or norm-creating in a wider perspective. This study concludes that antinormativity and queerness are evident within the framework of the picture.

The aim of this essay is to study how parents to children with learning disability experences the support they get from society. My main question has been: what kind of support offer does society offer this parents? What is good and what is less satisfactory in this support? The study is based on a qualitative method. Five parents with children who has learning disabilities has been used as base. The material has been analysed with a narrative, hernmeneutic perspective.The study concludes that the parents, use in this case, find that society does not offer the necessary understanding for their problem of their family.

The goal of this project was to create the music video for swedish pop/rockband Antennas? single Youngbloods, from their album Feeling Feline Tonight(2009). The video was made through animation, collages, photography andillustration. The main focus for the video was to create an independent visualstory and to implement an investigation of how different technics for creatingand documenting images and motion result in different interpretations of thecontent. The thesis analyzes the making of Nordic identity after the cold war which brought an end to Nordic exclusiveness of emphasizing ?soft power?. A need for a revitalization combined with an effort to enter History as an active subject, created constructivist project of a narrative style.My study relies on contemporary literature, focusing mainly on the construction of Nordic identity and regional cooperation in the 1990: s.I argue that Nordic identity was, and still is, determined of its comparable weakness in regard to the superpowers of the cold war, and, nowadays, to the EU.The architects of establishing a new Nordic identity, able to challenge a new Europe, fails in their effort, and what is left of their endeavour are separate states, each following their own agenda..

Det finns idag mängder med olika sorters porträttfotografer som arbetar med korrekt utförande inom riktlinjerna i bildutsnitt och vinklar. I det här kandidatarbetet bearbetar vi frågeställningen: ?Hur kan vi med hjälp av att bryta riktlinjer inom bildutsnitt och vinklar skapa kontraster och mer dramatiska modeporträtt??. Genom att ha undersökt och diskuterat narrativ inom stillbild har vi undersökt hur långt man som fotograf kan gå ifrån riktlinjerna inom bildutsnitt och vinklar utan att gå över den tunna gränsen mellan en lyckad och misslyckad regelbrytning. Via en teknisk undersökning om vad som händer när man utför regelbrytningar inom bildutsnitt och vinklar har vi fått bevisat för oss att det är tekniskt möjligt att skapa kontraster och dramatik inom modeporträtt med hjälp av att bryta riktlinjer..

Jean BaudrillardSyftet med denna studie är att identifiera och analysera bakomliggande myter om lycka i kommersiella reklamfilmer, utifrån ett konstruktionistiskt perspektiv. Analysmodellen, som bygger på semiotik och neoformalism, genererade kunskap om de olika berättarstrukturerna kring lycka i de undersökta reklamfilmerna. Resultaten indikerade framförallt att berättarstrukturerna om lycka grundar sig i myter som är starkt kopplade till den kapitalistiska ideologin. Studien avser därmed att blottlägga och analysera myter om lycka i reklamfilmer ur ett kritiskt konstruktionistiskt perspektiv..
