Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med denna studie är att kartlägga vanligt förekommande spelstrategiers effektivitet hos manliga och kvinnliga tennisspelare under Grand Slam turneringarna Australien Open och US Open 2009 sett ur servarens perspektiv. Detta för att möjliggöra en generell jämförelse inom och mellan herr- och damspelare samt mellan olika spelares specifika spelstrategier.Hur ser fördelningen och effektiviteten ut av serveplaceringen i respektive serveruta?Inom vilket slagintervall samt i vilken zon i banan avgörs huvuddelen av poängen samt i vilken zon är effektiviteten högst?Hur ser slagkombinationseffektiviteten och slagkombinationsförekomsten ut ur servarens perspektiv? MetodEn utförlig litteratursökning efter tidigare forskning genomfördes med hjälp av databaserna PubMed, SportDiscus och Google Scholar. Därefter analyserades totalt 15 DVD-matcher från Grand Slam turneringarna (2757 poäng, Herr = 1714 p, Dam = 1043 p) US Open (2009) och Australien Open (2009). Totalt medverkade 18 ATP och WTA- spelare (9 herrar, 9 damer) med en världsranking på topp 30 eller bättre.

Therefore, the creation of a single market in insurance will enable consumers to have access to wider choice of insurance products, and insurance companies to gain access to markets in various Member States and compete effectively. The EU legal framework for the insurance industry embraces the Treaty freedoms of services, establishment and capital, the EC Directives and the ECJ case-law. The present thesis identifies numerous factors that hinder the Community insurance market integration and offers possible remedies. The summary of the market obstacles is all-inclusive and reflects the responses to the questionnaires and the Commission surveys.

This report examines the industrialization of a newly developed household machine on behalf of Technogarden Engineering Resources in Karlstad, Sweden. The report is a part of the final course in the Bachelor Program in Mechanical Engineering at Karlstad University and takes place in spring 2014.An innovator, an investor and a engineering consultant firm have through collaboration developed a new type of gruel machine. The product is in its final stage of construction and is planned to be manufactured in a production located in Sweden, autumn of 2014.To compete against today?s trend in outsourcing manufacturing to low cost countries for better profitability, the industrialization of the gruel machine must be done with a minimum amount of resources in order to become successful, which also describes the problem of this study. Using pre-study material in form of Lean production literature, visiting a successful production site and gathering data from involved engineers a specification was developed which describes what this industrialization must achieve and which requests can be accomplished.

It may seem obvious that the urban space in our northern cities should be design to function and inspire throughout the whole year. This is not always the case. The urban space is often designed on a summer basis and the winter is regarded more as a problem then a resource and its potential remain unused. I have in this master thesis studied the impact of the winter on people and spaces and ponder on how to design functional and attractive places for winter. The project ends in a design concept for Broparken in Umeå on the theme "everyday winter day". The work with this thesis has given me, as a landscape architect, valuable experiences and filled a gap of knowledge that I had in this subject. I hope that this thesis can inspire Umeå kommun and others who are interested in how northern cities can benefit by its climate and develop towards a more complete city. The thesis begins with a chapter that present the subject from four different perspectives.

I den kommunala fysiska planeringen ingår det att planera för riksintressen vilka är särskilda områden utpekade av staten. Detta system infördes 1987 i en tid då det inte fanns bostadsbrist i någon större utsträckning i Sverige. Då situationen ser annorlunda ut idag har frågan väckts om riksintressesystemet hindrar bostadsutvecklingen i landets kommuner. Just denna konflikt mellan bevarande av riksintressenas värden och exploatering av bostäder väckte vårt intresse.Syftet med denna uppsats är således att undersöka huruvida riksintressena för naturvård, friluftsliv, kulturmiljövård samt områden under 4 kap. miljöbalken står i konflikt med bostadsbyggande och således är ett hinder för detta i Strömstad, Tanum och Uddevalla kommun.

Due to the fact that bottled water has negative impact on the environment,Elite Hotel hasdecided to stop serving bottled water in their restaurants. Since Swedish tap water is regarded tohave great quality,Elite Hotel wants to look at the possibilities to carbonate their own sparklingwater and serving it in fancy carafes. This Master of Science thesis is about constructing a costefficient water carbonator system that suits Elite Hotel?s need specification. This thesis alsocovers other water refinement criteria.The work has been divided into three parts.

3D modeling is a common tool in landscape architecture. Today, there have been new ways in which virtual 3D models are successful tools in the dialogue with the public. These new methods involve children and young people who are groups that is hard to reach and engage in citizen dialogues. The purpose of this work was to investigate how a virtual 3D model works in the landscape architect?s communication with the public through the project Gruvstadsparken in Kiruna. Through workshops, I wanted to communicate Gruvstadsparken to get ideas from participants on how the park can be used and be revisited.

The business cycle of the wood flooring branch is currently high however that situation may not be sustainable. In a possible future weaker business climate, the importance of marketing becomes accentuated for firms that aim to maintain their sales levels. We can see trends that competition among the Swedish and foreign manufactures is already stepping up. The intent of this study is to establish marketing guidelines for floor- and molding manufacturers, so they can establish a clearer brand image in DIY retail outlets. By comparing the approach of sports- and DIY stores to brand and product placement, this study aims to bring new knowledge to the DIY branch for improved consumer and product handling.

Communication, information and marketing are three of the main prerequisites for companies that want to increase their turnover. The everyday work for a Forest Manager within the forest owners? association Mellanskog consists to a large part of interpersonal communication, either by close vicinity contact or by phone calls. Interpersonal communication is time consuming and resource intensive. If the flow of information, communication and marketing does not function well then there is a lack of a base for development.

Health and convenience trends dominate the food industry and retailing business of today. The health consciousness is spreading while appealing product attributes concerning taste and packaging also are increasingly important. At the same time, the competition is growing fierce in the Swedish market with hard discount formats and niche concepts who also are trying to provide the market with perishables. Therefore, the pressure to lower prices is increasing making economies of scale and rationalization progressively more important. In 2004, ICA launched private label meat packaged in a modified atmosphere. Consequently, many stores went from in-store cutting-up and packaging to selling centrally packaged and distributed meat. ICA is now developing a concept with fresh fish in modified atmosphere packages and needs to increase the knowledge about the market and the consumer.

Undersokningens syfte har varit att studera hur pedagoger tanker och arbetar kring amnet matematik idag. Internationella undersokningar fran TIMSS Advancerad 2008 (Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study) och fran PISA 2006 (Program for International Student Assesment) visar att elever inte har de kunskaper i matematik som kravs for att soka till de hogre tekniska utbildningarna. For att Sverige ska kunna folja med i den tekniska utvecklingen internationellt behovs en satsning pa matematik. Redan i forskolan behover barn fa de grundlaggande kunskaper i matematik som ar nodvandiga for fortsatt skolgang. I forslaget till den nya laroplanen (Skolverket, 2009), forstarks forskolans pedagogiska uppdrag vilket ska leda till att ambitionsnivan hojs i forskolan.

Sammanfattning                                                            Magisteruppsats i företagsekonomi inom ramen för Civilekonomprogrammet med företagsekonomisk inriktning vid Internationella Handelshögskolan i Jönköping.Författare: Johan Jonzén och Pontus Krusing.Titel: Vilken betydelse har extern granskning av företags hållbarhetsredovisningar?Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka betydelsen av extern granskning av företags hållbarhetsredovisningar och även få en inblick i hur företag resonerar när de beslutar huruvida extern granskning av dess hållbarhetsredovisning skall ske eller ej.Avgränsningar: Vi har valt att intervjua de så kallade ?big four?-revisionsbyråerna kring deras erfarenheter av att arbeta med hållbarhetsfrågor. Gällande våra intervjuer med börsbolag som arbetar med hållbarhetsfrågor har vi endast intervjuat större bolag, det vill säga bolag noterade på Stockholmsbörsens Mid Cap alternativt Large Cap-lista. Utöver intervjuerna med revisionbyråerna och börsbolagen har vi även haft en intervju med en hållbarhetsanalytiker.Metod: Då vi har valt en kvalitativ metod har insamling av information primärt skett genom telefonintervjuer och akademiska källor insamlade från databaser såsom Google Scholar men även genom litteratur tillhandahållen från Högskolebiblioteket i Jönköping.Resultat och slutsatser: Efter att ha intervjuat ett antal revisionsbyråer, stora företag  och en investerare kan vi konstatera att revisionsbolagen arbetar tämligen lika med hållbarhetsrelaterade frågor och extern granskning av företags hållbarhetsredovisningar. När det kommer till företagen och hur de resonerar om extern granskning av dess hållbarhetsredovisning skall ske eller ej, kan vi konstatera att argumenten skiljer sig mycket åt från företag till företag.

Artros, även kallat osteoartrit (OA) är en degenerativ ledsjukdom som ger förändring i brosk med pålagringar i omgivande benvävnad som följd. En hund som drabbats av OA har ofta kliniska tecken på smärta och nedsatt funktion i rörelseapparaten. Det är en vanligt förekommande sjukdom bland hundar. Om inte rätt behandling sätts in utsätts djuret för onödigt lidande. Det är viktigt att ha en multimodal behandlingsplan vid OA samt att individanpassa den. Behandlingen syftar till att lindra smärta, bibehålla funktion och rörlighet i leden, bromsa ned sjukdomens händelseförlopp samt att hunden ska kunna återgå till en så normal aktivitetsnivå som möjligt.

BakgrundPå en intensivvårdsavdelning (IVA) vårdas patienter med akuta, livshotande sjukdomar. Patienterna utgör en del i en familj och deras sjukdomstillstånd blir en angelägenhet som påverkar hela familjen emotionellt. Närstående till kritiskt sjuka patienter är ofta djupt oroade över sina anhöriga och ibland är intensivvårdsavdelningen deras första kontakt med sjukvården. Sjukvårdspersonal är den yrkeskategori som oftast kommer i kontakt med krisdrabbade och då främst i deras akuta chockfas. Vårdpersonalens bemötande i dessa situationer har betydelse för att minska risken för framtida psykisk ohälsa hos krisdrabbade närstående.
