This essay takes its start in the problematic situation concerning source material in the study of the Norse religion before the Christianization of Scandinavia. There is a lack of written sources from the time when the religion was still practiced. There are plenty of archeological sources economic situation than their religious beliefs. The Icelandic stories written in the 13th and 14th centuries give us a broad pictureof the Norse mythology, but the writers were Christians which makes their reliability questionable.The focus of this essay is therefore on two texts written during the time when the Norse religion was still in practice. The first source is the travel notes written in 922 by the Muslim scholar Ahmad ibn Fadlan who met a group of the Rus? people.

Forskningsproblemet i detta arbete är att karaktärisera industriellt köpbeteendet vid köp av modifikationer av kommersiella flygplan. Industriellt köpbeteende är ett forskningsområde som har fått mycket uppmärksamhet då det kan användas till att öka kundnöjdheten och effektivisera värdeskapande aktiviteter.Branschexperter är enade om att flygplansmarknaden kommer att öka och de uppskattar att mellan 27350 och 34000 nya flygplan kommer att säljas de kommande 20 åren. När dessa nya flygplan produceras kommer behovet att kunna modifiera existerande flygplan att öka. Äldre flygplan kan bland annat modifieras för att bli mer ekonomiska och öka kundupplevelsen i syfte att att konkurrera med nya flygplan. De kan även modifieras om helt för att fylla andra syften än att frakta passagerare, till exempel frakta Gods eller användas som övervakningsplan.Med en ökad kunskap om det industriella köpbeteendet vid köp av modifikationer av kommersiella flygplan kan det användas fören ökad förståelse över hur marknaden ser ut och hur kunderna resonerar.

Den senaste svenska vintern var en riktig katastrof som bestod av Ovanliga mängder snö, fukt och kyla, från mitten av december 2009 till mitten av mars 2010. Snömassor orsakade stora problem i tågtrafiken, både nationellt och lokalt. Det påverkade både Gods- och persontransporten. Halka och tak ras ledde till personskador och dödsolyckor. Kylan påverkade även elnät som ledde till att människor stod utan värme och belysning.

DinBox Sverige AB säljer fastighetsboxar på den skandinaviska marknaden och har produktionen utlagd till en leverantör Kina. Företaget startades i slutet på 2007 och är med andra ord relativt ungt. Den logistiska delen från beställning till leverans av produkt, är en mycket viktig och vital del av verksamheten som måste fungera. Det logistiska flödet fungerar idag inte helt felfritt och det uppstår problem med leveranser.Jag fick som uppgift i mitt examensarbete inom supply-chain management, att undersöka det logistiska flödet närmare för att hitta olika förbättringsförslag.Syftet med uppgiften är ta reda på vilka fel som uppstår, kartlägga vilka typer av kostnader dessa fel innebär och utreda hur man kan undvika fel i fortsättningen. Examensarbetet ska resultera i ett passande förbättringsalternativ som ökar kontrollen av logistikflödet från beställning till leverans.Resultatet i examensarbetet har uppnåtts genom en grundlig nulägesanalys, framtagande av ett flödesschema och identifiering av problem i processerna.
