Terrorattackerna i New York och Washington den 11 september 2001 skakade om världen på en rad olika sätt.Bland annat har vi sett att terrorismen, i och med händelserna i USA, har kommit att behandlas som en global fråga trots att bara ett fåtal länder i världen har varit med om terrorattacker av liknande mått. Även Sverige har visat att det också vill bidra i arbetet för en säkrare värld och hittills har det vidtagits tämligen stora åtgärder för att komma åt terrorismen. Mot bakgrund av detta handlar detta projekt om tre svenska partiers - moderaterna, vänster ? och folkpartiets - ståndpunkter kring åtgärder inom terrorbekämpning..

Due to higher standards of living around the world, greater industries and larger infrastructures causes an increase of the global energy consumption. This harvest of energy puts a great stress on the global environment. With this development, it becomes increasingly important to utilize energy resources in the best possible way.Fans are components that are often used in the industry and in households. A common problem is that the fan is oversized. An oversized fan causes an excessive flow, which has to be adjusted in order to achieve the correct flow.

The governance and control of healthcare organizations has traditionally been run byprofessions inside the organization (Fölster et al., 2003). During the last decades Swedishhealthcare has undergone an institutional transformation where the governance has changedfrom professional governance to a more market like one (Sahlin-Andersson, 2006). Governingof healthcare can however be problematic as professional work is characterized by a highlevel of autonomy and tacit knowledge (cf. Tsoukas, 1997, Freidson, 2001). An expression ofthe new kind of governance is the annually published report ?Öppna jämförelser av hälso- ochsjukvårdens kvalitet och effektivitet?.

The purpose of this Masters-thesis is to examine the impact of identity politics on (a) Turkey's foreign policy towards Europe and the EU, and (b) Europe's/EU's political attitude towards Turkey, and what implications this may have on a possibly future Turkish membership in the EU. It is a more interpreting thesis than it is an explaining one. The examination shows that Turkey has considered Europe as a political model, while Europe has used the muslime Turkey as a threat to determine its own identity. The negotiations between EU and Turkey this autumn will have great impact on the identity of both sites. If the EU accepted Turkey as a member, the union could gain a chance to spread democracy to the islamic world and thereby earn global respect.

The climate change the earth today has to face is no longer a global problem when every individual has a responsibility to act. The residents in Sweden have no understanding how their energy consumption affects the environment, nor what measures can be taken to reduce the energy consumption.The use of the energy in new Buildings is considerably lower than in the older ones as conditions have improved and the requirements have been more stringent. As most of the buildings in the future have already been constructed it´s important to take every opportunity for energy efficiency and rebuilding of available buildings will become a significant act. Reconstruction of a building contributes generally to both a reduced individual and a reduced total energy use, while new constructions only keep a low individual energy use but a increase the total energy use. For this reason we present the opportunities for reconstruction, mainly to reach the standards for a passive house..

Rett syndrome is a congenital neurological syndrome, which in the classic phenotype only affects girls. The symptoms include lack of speech, stereotypic movements of hands, dyspraxia and mental retardation, and these symptoms lead to communicative impairments. The purpose of this study was to examine whether the intervention method Intensive Imitation affected interaction/communication and initiative in a girl with Rett syndrome. The design of the study was a Single Subject Experimental Design with a three-week long intervention period where the girl participated daily in 30- minute sessions of Intensive Imitation together with the test conductor. Interaction, communication and initiatives were observed and analyzed before (Baseline A), during and after (Baseline B) the intervention period.

Abstract The growth of supra-national organizations, such as the European Union, has been a recent trend in today?s global environment, which has challenged traditional marketing concepts and product cues. One such cue that is significantly challenged is the 'origin cue'. An origin cue is conceived to be a socially constructed notion that consumers use to discern where goods come from and to accordingly evaluate products with. The origin cue is often predominantly materialized in the public sphere by a 'made in' labelling scheme.

Vi är på väg in i ett nytt samhälle, det postindustriella samhället även kallat informationssamhället. Ett av kännetecknen för detta samhälle är vad vi kallar globalisering, avstånden krymper och nationernas betydelse minskar. En avgörande effekt på denna omvandling har informationstekniken, IT haft. En av de viktigaste möjligheterna som IT öppnar är den gränslösa kommunikationen. Denna är en av de starkast bidragande orsakerna till globaliseringen.

Beskattning spelar allt större roll i människors migrationsbeslut. Flera länder har infört skattelättnader för vissa kategorier av utländska arbetstagare i syfte att göra sig mer attraktiva för kvalificerad utländsk arbetskraft. År 2000 införde Sverige skattelättnader för utländska experter, forskare och nyckelpersoner, den s.k. expertskatten. Syftet med reglerna om expertbeskattning är att Sverige ska kunna attrahera kvalificerad utländsk personal och därmed stärka Sveriges internationella konkurrensförmåga genom att främja forskning och produktutveckling.

At this point seamen have a lot of tasks of administrative character, beyond the traditional tasks aboard a ship. Due to the new conventions that are formed by IMO, more requirements are added which often lead to time consuming administrative tasks and documentation that should be spent on activities which are contributing to the ships safety. The issue has been observed by IMO that has through BIMCO done a study with the aim to identify and reduce administrative burdens at sea.The primary aim of this study is to find out if safety officers aboard Swedish ferries consider that SOLAS Chapter III, 8.3 och 19.5 regulations are administrative burdens, restricted to muster lists and documentation of training aboard the ship.The secondary questions to the study are if it is possible to remove, combine or change the documents and how much time can be saved by doing this. The question about timesaving could not be answered, because the values were scattered and could not be used for further investigation. The observed values were accumulated by a survey and the result indicated that safety officers did not experience the two regulations as administrative burdens.

GCM is a product information management system which handles data for consumer packaged goods. GCM was developed during the middle of the nineties and was acquired by Prevas AB in 2004. The GCM application relies on the services provided by the organization GS1, which supplies global specifications and validations for trade items across several sectors. GCM is updated regularly due to the frequent changes in specifications from GS1. However, the overall graphical user interface design has not been redesigned during these years.This dissertation studies possible improvements for the webpage that handles product data in GCM.

Bakgrund: De första Internetbaserade butikerna öppnade i mitten av 1990-talet och Internethandeln har sedan dess vuxit kraftigt. Den snabba tekniska utvecklingen har gjort att många svenska små e-handelsföretag har kunnat ta steget ut på en global marknad. Dock uppger hälften av alla svenska e-handlare att konkurrensen från utlandet har ökat på den svenska e-handelsmarknaden på grund av att e-handeln blivit allt mer global.Syfte: Vårt syfte är att undersöka och skapa förståelse för hur små e-handelsföretag arbetar för att kunna konkurrera på marknaden. Speciellt med tanke på att allt fler aktörer vill ta del av den stora andel kunder som Internets globalisering har medfört.Metod: Uppsatsen har en induktiv ansats och grundar sig i en kvalitativ forskningsmetod. Vi har genomfört sex stycken intervjuer med personer som arbetar och driver en e-handel på Internet.

Few issues raise such an engagement as parking areas, both by the municipality, property- and car owners. For car owners, it is of great importance where to park his car. Parking is not simply about availability but also about safety, security and how it affects the urban environment.When the land will be utilized for building development, there are regulations in Chapter 8, § 9 PBL how parking will be provided. Property owners have an obligation to provide parking space and it shall be arranged in an equitable manner, on the site or near it, which gives an opportunity for shared parking facilities. The guidelines for parking that the municipality has adopted should be the starting point for the extent of that space for parking is required when a building permit review.The first thing you should look at, is if the property owner has ability to provide parking space at his own property, but this is not always the best solution in areas such as inner cities.

Densiteten påverkas av temperatur och salinitet (och tryck, som vanligtvis ignoreras). Därför heter cirkulationen termohalin. Saliniteten minskar när vatten tillförs genom nederbörd, havsissmältning eller landavrinning. Saliniteten ökar genom avdunstning och isbildning.

Till följd av flera uppmärksammade bolagsskandaler har frågor om bolagsstyrning fått ökad aktualitet på global nivå. Många länder har därför börjat använda sig av regelsamlingar för bolagsstyrning, så kallade koder, för att främja förtroendet för näringslivet. Kritiken som i huvudsak handlat om brist på insyn och de skenande ersättningsnivåerna föranledde regeringen i Sverige att tillsätta den så kallade Förtroendekommissionen under ledning av förre finansministern Erik Åsbrink. Förtroendekommissionen har i sin analys av näringslivets förtroendefrågor identifierat brister i bolagsstyrning som en bidragande faktor till fler av de förtroendekritiska företeelser som uppkommit. På grund av detta framställde Förtroendekommissionen, i samverkan med ett antal organ och organisationer från näringslivet, en svensk kod för bolagsstyrning.
