MPS-system syftar till att öka intäkterna, minska kostnaderna och frigöra kapital genom ökad leveransservice, flexibilitet och reducerade kostnader för lagerhållning, administration och transporter. Implementeringen av ett datoriserat MPS-system ska leda till förbättringar, kostnadsbesparingar och i överlag bara positiva förändringar hos tillverkande företag enligt litteraturen. Studien avser att undersöka vilka förbättringar och nackdelar/begränsningar företag som implementerat MPS-system upplever med sina MPS-system. Har de kunnat förbättra styrningen och kontrollen av verksamheten, i form av förbättrade variabler, som kan påvisas till implementeringen av MPS-system?Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka om införandet av MPS-system förbättrat de undersökta legotillverkarnas styrning och kontroll av sina verksamheter samt vilka begränsningar de upplever med sina MPS-system.Vi har genomfört personliga intervjuer med våra respondenter på AHAN AB, PNM Plåt och Modellteknik AB i Eskilstuna/Torshällaområdena.

During the late 1990s a movement with the intention of forming independent libraries emerged on Cuba. They were seen as an alternative to the public libraries which were supposed to be suffering from censorship by the Cuban government. The purpose of this thesis is to compile and bring structure in a debate regarding public libraries on Cuba and what have become known as independent libraries. In this thesis a textual analysis has been approached for examining articles, websites and reports concerning what attitudes and position the library support organizations Friends of Cuban Libraries FCL, Cuban Libraries Solidarity Group CLSG and IFLA/FAIFE have regarding the two different library types. These positions is throughout the survey connected with the concept of intellectual freedom.

Umeå University currently uses two Course Management System, Moodle and Sakai (Cambro). Both Moodle and Sakai are based on open source code and are today the two more popular choices among Swedish Universities. They both have different strengths and weaknesses both from a technical perspective and a user perspective. This can create problems for a course responsible/teacher when it comes to planning the course structure at a distance course but also when planning the course structure on a campus course that uses a Course Management System. This study examines the theories about intervention and sovereignty in relation to the world of today, with the raising question about humanitarian intervention in a globalized society.The purpose of this paper is to examine if intervention can be justified in a sovereign state and how it can be justified. The expected outcome is that conclusion can be drawn from the specific case with United Nations intervention in Bosnia and Hercegovina, and what kind of motives they putted up to justify their intervention.Because we are still living in the era of the Westphalia system with the inherited thoughts of state sovereignty, but in conflict with the new ideas of globalization and human rights, it?s of big relevance to look at this topic closer.First of all the reader is presented to the theoretical aspects of state, sovereignty and different kinds of intervention, to become more aware of the complications surrounding the relationship between these conceptions.The method used in this study is a motive analysis with the focus on the motives told by United Nation, to be the reason for the intervention in Bosnia and Hercegovina. The empirical results are based on the reports from United Nations Security Council during the years 1991 ? 1995.The results are that the intervention in Bosnia and Hercegovina can be justified when looking at the theories in relation to the empirical result, with the FN ? charter and the fact of violation against humanitarian law and human rights.One conclusion can easily be drawn, that individual rights are playing a big role in today?s global society and are putting some pressure on the United Nation to look over the rules about humanitarian intervention..

Genom samtal med radioamatörer visade det sig att det fanns ett intresse för att använda rumsdiversitet på deras mottagare då de upplevde fädning (vid körning med bil) som ett problem för hörbarheten. I ett system där mottagaren är stationär och sändaren mobil kommer den mottagna signalen att fäda ibland då radiovågorna tar olika vägar till mottagaren och ibland förstärker och ibland stör varandra. Tanken med detta examensarbete var att kunna ta emot två bandbegränsade audiosignaler från två mottagare med varsin antenn som tar emot samma signal (rumsdiversitet) och vikta ihop dessa med lämplig metod för att få ut en bättre signal. Om man kunde implementera ett diversitetssystem med VHDL i en FPGA så skulle man få ett system som var både billigt och flexibelt. The aim of this masters thesis is to examine the synthesis and the structure of the main class for linguistics F in the Swedish classification system SAB. We want to find out whether F has developed towards a more faceted structure or not. Our theoretical perspective is based on fundamental principles for modern classification. To carry out our investigation the first, the fourth and the seventh edition of SAB is analysed and compared. The results of our study show that the main class F has become more faceted and therefore the possibilities to use synthesis have increased.

Det här arbetet handlar om den globala handeln med Liquefied Natural Gas, LNG.LNG är naturgas som har gjorts flytande och består till mer än 90 % av metan. Sedanden första kommersiella transporten ägde rum år 1959 har den globala handeln avLNG ökat. Mellan 1980-2011 ökade den globala handeln av LNG med nära 1000 %.Under samma tidsperiod har den globala kända naturgasreserven ökat med mer än150 %. Antalet exportörer och importörer av LNG förutspås att öka i framtiden ochunder 2010 kondenserades ca 10 % av världens totala utvinning av naturgas för attexporteras i form av LNG. Focus i det här arbetet har lagts på att kartläggaimporterande och exporterande länder samt rederier som sköter själva sjötransportenav LNG.En kartläggning har gjorts med syfte att beskriva samt förklara den globala handelnmed LNG.

The thesis in product development ? mechanical design includes 15 credits and was carried out during the spring of 2014 at Semcon in Eskilstuna. The task is to construct a special machine for positioning and orientation of a key blank found in six different shapes, the construction is a part of a larger machine for encoding the key blank where a pick- and-place device or robot pick up the key blank and deliver it further in the process. The entire construction is designed for ASSA OEM Gothenburg.In order to accomplish the project the first step was to analyze the existing solutions to similar problems on the market in a current situation analysis to create an understanding of the problem. This was followed by a flow analysis and a functional analysis to get a deeper understanding of the problem and structuring the machine's process flow and its features.

According to the current regulations described in IAS 27 - Consolidated and Separate Financial Statements, an investment company is required to consolidate all entities that it controls. However, this thesis outlines the creation of a new system, where those entities are instead measured at fair value, taking changes in fair value into account in the income statement. By recalculating the consolidated accounts for five major investment companies in accordance with the new system, this investigation concludes that the new system would provide investors with more relevant but less reliable accounting information. In addition, the historical financial performance of Investor, Industrivärden, Ratos, Kinnevik, and Lundbergföretagen, is evaluated using their recalculated consolidated financial statements.
